THIRD PERSON POV

It's been a few weeks later and Nova's 2nd birthday is slowly approaching. Recently Jamie and Sofia's marriage has been upside down again. So they haven't really been talking recently.

Sofia was out with Paulina, Nova, Laura and Kim. While Jamie was back home sorting some stuff out for Nova's birthday plans. There was a knock on the door and he goes over to it to answer the door. And standing there is his ex girlfriend in the flesh. Inanna Sarkis.

"Inanna what are you doing here?" Jamie asked her as he looked at her.

"Came to see you." Inanna steps forward and closes the door behind her.

"Inanna you need to leave, I'm happily married." Jamie backs away from her.

"Come on, Jamie..." Inanna steps closer to him, closing the space between them, but Jamie puts a distance between them.

"I said I'm happily married." Jamie said in a stern voice.

Before Inanna could speak the door opens and Sofia, Kim, Paulina and Nova walk in. Nova is asleep in Paulina's arms, and Sofia looks over at Jamie and Inanna.

"Sof," Jamie steps forward to Sofia who just walks into their room, Jamie follows behind her.

"Sofia," he closes the door behind him as he looked at her.

"Why is she here?" Sofia turns around to look at Jamie.

"I-I don't know okay, she came here and she kissed me..-" Jamie starts but he gets cut off.

"So you both kissed?" Sofia raises her voice as she looks at Jamie.

"I didn't kiss her back Sofia, I pulled away and told her I was happily married..." Jamie told her.

"But we're not happily married though Jamie!" Sofia said as tears filled her eyes. "Maybe..maybe it's best if we spent a few weeks away from each other." She looks down as she played with her engagement and her wedding ring.

"Sof..." Jamie stepped closer to her, and cups her face. "Please don't do this..I love you."

"I love you, too..but we need a break..." Sofia looked up at Jamie.

He shook his head and walks into their wardrobe and grabs a suitcase.

Sofia watched him as tears ran down her face. "What are you doing?" She sat on their bed to have a better look at Jamie

Jamie ignored her and continued to pack his stuff, then he slides off his wedding ring off his finger and puts it on the table and walks out of the room without even looking at Sofia. "Jamie." Sofia quickly followed behind Jamie, still having tears down her face.

"Jamie wait please." Jamie walks out of the apartment and closing the door behind him.

Jamie got into his car and Sofia followed him outside, and knocked on his window frantically and he doesn't even look at her and starts his car and drove off.

It's been a few hours later and Jamie is staying at his parents. Sofia kept constantly calling him and texting him.

Jay, please come back.
We can talk about this.
Jay please answer me.
I love you please come back.
Please! I'm sorry.
I know nothing happened with you and Inanna.

5 missed calls from Sofia💍

Jamie looked at the messages what Sofia has been sending him and chose not to reply back to her, so he turns his phone off.  He lays back on the bed and places his phone on the side table.

It's been a few days later since Sofia and Jamie had separated, Sofia still tried getting in contact with him but he never answered her. And neither did he answer Paulina.

Jamie drove back to the apartment to grab some more of his stuff. He unlocks the door and went straight to the bedroom. He starts putting some clothes in his duffel bag and turns around to leave when he sees Sofia standing there in the doorway. "Can we please talk?"

"Why should we? You literally jumped to conclusions about Inanna and I." He stood there looking at Sofia. "Like you said Sofia, you wanted me to leave. So I left." Jamie walked past her.

"I didn't say leave Jamie. I said we needed a break for a while." Sofia followed behind him and he rolls his eyes and they were in the office.

"That's the same thing." He starts grabbing some of his documents in files for work.

"No it's not." Sofia walk in front of him and places her hands in his face but Jamie looks away from her.

"Yes, we argue. But Jamie, we have a baby coming..soon.." Jamie let's out a sigh. "Please stay..."

"Well that baby is better off to know their father, so is Nova and so are you Sofia.." Jamie walked past her again to go to the front door.

"Jamie were still married." She followed behind him still.

"No we're not, not anymore. I've put in for a divorce. So you got what you wanted Sofia." Jamie got to the front door but gets stopped by Sofia.

"That's not what I want, okay." She had tears running down her face. "I want us to be together."

"Why don't you go and be with that English prick?" Jamie turned his head to look at Sofia. "You did sleep with him  after us actively seeing each other Sofia."

"No we didn't! We didn't sleep together! It was just for the movie!" Sofia raises her voice as she looked at her husband.

"I don't care, because I fucked Inanna.." Jamie blurts out, but what he was saying wasn't true.

"You-you cheated on me...?" Sofia had more tears running down her face as she looked at her husband with a hurtful expression. "Please don't tell me it's true..."

Jamie didn't look at her and stayed silence to seem like it was true.

"Get out!" Sofia raises her voice again and pointed towards the door.

"With pleasure." Jamie walks out the apartment and closed the door behind him, he mumbles to himself and ran a free hand through his hair. "Shit.."

It's been a week later and today is the day Nova is turning two. Jamie and Sofia planned to have a western themed for her birthday before they've separated. Even though Sofia and Jamie haven't been on good terms and especially when Jamie told her he cheated on her when he didn't, they've been civil for the sake of their daughter.

Jamie turned up at the apartment, because the guests were coming soon. So, he got headed towards the bedroom, closing the door to see Sofia, struggling to zip up her dress. "Sorry, I didn't know anyone was in.." Jamie spoke up as he nervously rubbed his neck.

Sofia looked over at him and then back at the mirror she stands up and still couldn't zip her dress up.

"Here, let me help you." Jamie went over to her and placed his hands on the zipper and zipped her dress up, as Jamie's hand came to contact to Sofia's skin her whole body shivered by his touch.

"Thanks..." Sofia mumbles softly.

Jamie went into their wardrobe to get dressed, and he takes off his shirt to put on the black shirt. Jamie could feel Sofia's gaze at him. He turns and looks at her as he begins to button his shirt. "What?"

"Nothing.." Sofia walks out of the room, and closes the door behind her.

It's the end of the night and Jamie is putting Nova into her bed, he leans down and kisses her on the head before he turned to move. "Daddy.."

"Yes, princess?" He turned back to Nova as she opened her eyes slightly.

"Do you still love mommy?" She asks sleepily.

"Yeah, I do...she means everything to me, daddy is just being mean to her at the moment and she doesn't deserve this." Jamie says as he looked down at his daughter.

Unknown to Jamie, Sofia was standing behind him, listening to what he was saying.

"You need to get some sleep my princess." He leaned down to kiss her forehead and turns to leave the room.

Jamie was staying over the night as it'll be too late to travel back down to Oceanside. Jamie walked into the guest room of the apartment and closes the door behind him, and took of his shirt, he puts it onto a hanger, and went and changed out of his pants, he puts on joggers.

Their was a knock on the door and Sofia opens the door and she looks over at Jamie, which he looked back at her. "Thank you for coming.." Sofia closed the door behind her and sat on the edge of the bed.

"You don't have to thank me Sof, I was coming anyway..." Jamie sat next to her and looked at her.

"I heard what you said to Nova..." Sofia looks down as she plays with her rings.

"You did..." Jamie asked her which she nodded in return.

"I will always love you Sof, you were my first love...and now I fucked things up by lying to you..I never slept with Inanna...I would never ever ever do that...because I still love you Sof.." Jamie faced forward and Sofia looked at him and placed her hands on Jamie's face for him to look at her.

"Kiss me, Jamie." Sofia rasps out and Jamie cups the side of her face and leaned in and closed the gap between them.

It was the next morning and Sofia awakes after the sun was shining through the curtains, she reached for Jamie who wasn't on his side of the bed, she sits up and looks around for Jamie but he wasn't in the room.

She gets up and puts Jamie's sweater on and left the guest room to look for Jamie. She heard laughing and chatter in the kitchen so she makes her way over there, to see Paulina, Jamie and Nova. She smiled at them before walking over to Jamie and wrapping her arms around his torso.

"You guys back together?" Paulina beamed a smile between Jamie and Sofia. They both smile at her.

It's been 10 months later and Sofia just gave birth to hers and Jamie's second baby. They had a baby boy called Cameron Hamilton.

Jamie got a call a few weeks later and went before away for his work. But sadly, within the weeks. Jamie sadly died by helping families getting out of an apartment.
