DOBBY

After Cassiopeia recieved the Dark Mark, she had hidden it away, under her long sleeved shirts. She had gotten a lot of letters from Hermione, Ron and especially Harry over the summer. And they were mostly filled with happy things.

Cassiopeia told Harry some things that happened a couple nights ago, all she mentioned was Voldemort confronted her, and she lied her way out of it. She didn't want to worry him by saying she was punished by the Cruciatus Curse.

Cassiopeia's home no longer felt like one. It felt gloomy everyday, even if Voldemort has not come to "visit" them. It felt very tiring and boring, with very little to do, other than sulk in your bedroom, wait for the next day to come.

Her brother and father never spoke to her, and her mother only came in her room sometimes. Cassiopeia did not go down for lunch or dinner anymore, the house elves mostly brought her food up to her.

That's why her house felt like a prison of some sort, the last thing that's missing is the Dementors guarding her door to make it seem like Azkaban.

She had thought of many plans with her mother of what she and Draco should do, and how they can sneak in the Death Eaters inside the Castle. They have thought that they should look into Borgin and Burkes soon, maybe there could be something there that might help them.

Now, Cassiopeia sat on her bed, biting the inside of her cheeks as she stared into her Dark Mark. She wanted to tear it, maybe cut off her hand so she won't be able to see it anymore. It's her birthday. Well, hers and Draco's.

Her mother and aunt greeted her this morning when they saw Cassiopeia walk out of the Library.

There came a knock on her door, and she let out a heavy sigh before standing up and opening to see who it was.

She expected her mother or an elf, but surprisingly, it was her brother. He stood in front of her, one hand behind his back and the other holding something.

Cassiopeia rolled her eyes, "what do you want? Have you come to spit some insults at me, because right now I really don't care---"

"Happy birthday, sister," said Draco cutting her off, handing her a gift. "Here,"

Cassiopeia blinked, confused. "Right, umm, Happy birthday to you too, brother...sorry I haven't got anything for you."

"It's fine," he spoke, Cassiopeia took the gift from his hand and he nodded, walking away and back to his room.

She merely smiled to herself, she closed her bedroom door. She opened the small wrapped gift, and it was a ring. A green ring with a serpent on it. That's a very Draco thing to give.

She puts it on, before walking back to her bed, grabbing her opened book. As she was about to make herself comfortable, a tapping sound was heard. Cassiopeia turned to see a snowy owl with yellow eyes in front of her window.

She instantly knew whose Owl that was. She scrambled off her bed, opened the window. The owl hooted as it flew inside her room, her own owl hooting in annoyance.

"Hello Hedwig," said Cassiopeia, smiling. "Got a letter for me?"

She took the letter that is tied on the owl's leg along with some candies. She knew Harry couldn't give her much, because the Dursley's were horrible people who wouldn't let Harry out of the house.

She read his letter as she sat down to read his letter.

Dear Cassiopeia,

Happy birthday, love. I hope that everything is well now. If anything happens, you can always leave and maybe you and I could find a place together. And let me know how you spent your birthday.

I haven't got much for you, but you should try these muggle candies that you mighg like. I stole them from Dudley's bowl of sweets. Don't worry, he won't know.

You are amazing, and I miss you.

Love,
Harry x

It was a short letter, but that doesn't matter. Cassiopeia smiled to herself as she grabbed the muggle candies which made her curious. After that, she placed the letter inside her beside drawer and fed Hedwig some treats. She wrote a letter back to Harry, tied it on Hedwig's leg and she flew off, soaring out of her window.

She watched as the owl flew further and further, until she was out of sight. She pursed her lips, wishing that she was free like an owl to go anywhere she wanted to.

She closed her bedroom window, as she turned there was a sudden pop which made Cassiopeia smile widely.

"Dobby!" She said, happily.

Dobby waved at her, he looked different now. He wore two socks, two of which were not the same pair. One was black and the other green with yellow polkadots. He wore the familiar Weasley sweater which was maroon and had a "R" she knew Ron definitely gave it to her.

"Hello, Miss Malfoy!" greeted Dobby.

"What're you doing here?" asked Cassiopeia as Dobby walked towards her.

"Miss Malfoy knows Dobby never misses your birthday, Miss!" replied Dobby, in his usual high squeaked voice. He hugged Cassiopeia's legs before smiling up at her. "Happy birthday, Miss Malfoy!"

"Thank you, Dobby," smiled Cassiopeia.

"Dobby has something for Miss! A birthday gift, I hope you like it!" squeaked Dobby, he took out something from his oversized sweater and handed it to her. Cassiopeia chuckled when she saw the pair of socks. "Dobby knitted them, Miss! Dobby has a lot of free time as a free elf!"

"That's wonderful, Dobby," she said as she examined the socks. One was green and the other red. The red has some yellow polkadots on it, and the green has some tiny snakes like the Slytherin snake. "Thank you!"

"Not a problem, Miss!" grinned Dobby, "Miss Malfoy was so kind to Dobby even if Dobby was her house elf! So Dobby wanted to make something special for Miss Malfoy!"

"I'm grateful for this, Dobby," she chuckled. She placed them on and Dobby's grin became even wider.

"I'm so glad Miss Malfoy loves it!"

Cassiopeia looked at the elf, and an idea came to mind. "Hey Dobby. I've been quite lonely for this past weeks, do you think you can come here often? Even for just a few minutes, I'd love to talk to someone..."

Dobby's face brightened, "of course! Dobby would love to!"

"But do you have any idea how I can call you? Or, uhh, make you come here?"

"Yes, Miss! Dobby has this special glass that only the people that Dobby gives it to sees Dobby, or can chat with Dobby!" He snapped his fingers and a shard of glass appeared on his hand, "just call Dobby whenever Miss Malfoy needs Dobby!"

"Thank you," she smiled.

***

After Cassiopeia's birthday, everything was usual. Her life is monotonous, always sleep, eat, create a plan, see if anything could help by trying to read the future again, and repeat. Nothing was interesting anymore, except when Dobby comes around every week to keep Cassiopeia accompanied.

Her mother agreed that they should visit Borgin and Brukes before school starts on September, maybe they could find something from there.

Cassiopeia got a letter from Harry saying that he might go shopping for some school supplies on Friday, and Cassiopeia wanted to get the hell out of thr Manor.

She packed her things inside her bag which had the undetectable extension charm that Dobby put. It was easier for her to carry clothes and some other things that might be useful, but she knew she wouldn't even use them. She carried her money inside her small wallet, it was filled with plenty Sickles, Knuts, and Galleons.

"I think this is all now, Dobby," said Cassiopeia as she clasps her hands together. "Will you take me to Harry's place? I really want to see him..."

"Of course, Miss! But Dobby is afraid that he cannot aparate with you from inside the Manor..." squeaked Dobby, looking down sadly , "but its okay! Miss Malfoy can meet Dobby in the play ground that Miss used to go to when she was little!"

"Not a problem," she said, although she did she it as one. She wanted to just leave without saying a word to anyone, but she knew her mother is usually sitting in the dining room drinking tea at this time.

Doesn't matter, she will just come up with something.

"All right, Dobby, I'll see you," she nodded as Dobby waved before a pop was heard. She grabbed her bag, walked out of her bedroom door after locking it, and walking down the stairs.

Her mother was about to walk up the stairs when she frowned, noticed that Cassiopeia had her bag, and looked like she was going somewhere.

"Where are you going?" asked Narcissa.

"Out," she replied, passing her mother. Her mother grabbed her arm, stopping her.

"To where?"

"I'm going over to my friend's house, mother, there is nothing to be worried about," she answered. "I might also be sleeping at Leaky Cauldron---"

"I forbid you to leave! It's too dangerous going out there all by yourself!" Her mother huffed.

"What could possibly be dangerous, mother?" questioned Cassiopeia, furrowing her eyebrows.

"Death Eaters are roaming about---" she said, in a hushed tone, but Cassiopeia cuts her off.

"You connot fear the enemy if you are the enemy, mother," she said, she yanked her arm away. "I will be back by tomorrow, or Monday,"

And with that, she did not wait for anything else. She just walked out of the front doors.

She made sure before she walked out of her bedroom door that she wore a bandage over her left forearm where the dark mark is on.

Cassiopeia walked to the nearby playground where muggle children used to play in. It was abandoned so many years ago, and when Cassiopeia was young, she would play there by herself.

She sat on one of the swings, looked arpund as wind blew. She rocked back and forth, letting out a heavy sigh.

Cassiopeia remembered when she used to sneak out of her room, and she would go out here. Then she would go to some muggle houses that was even further from the playground, and would have taken at least 30 minutes to walk to by feet.

A pop was heard from beside her, and she stood up from the swing before brushing off the dirt from her pants.

"Let's go now shall we, Miss Malfoy!" said Dobby, excitingly.

"You can aparate in front of their house, Dobby. I want to personally meet the Dursley's," she smirked, a plan in her mind.

"Dobby's afraid that he can't do that, Miss! There would be Muggles watching since it is day time," said Dobby.

"All right, then aprate inside a Bush or somewhere hidden, but don't aparate inside Harry's room," she said, Dobby nodded.

Cassiopeia took Dobby's hand, and there was a whoosh. She felt herself being whirled around, even worse than a portkey. She was used to a portkey or Floo, but she never got used to aparation. It felt like she wanted to puke right there, but it went on so fast.

She gasped as she felt her feet touch the ground. And she blinked a couple times before her brain could realise that she was standing in another place.

She spluttered the leaves that touched her mouth, and she stumbled out of a large bush. Her head was spinning, and it took her a minute to recover.

Dobby chuckled and Cassiopeia shook her head, "never doing that again. Never ever doing that again,"

"We're here, Miss!" said Dobby, who was still in the bush. "That door over there is Harry Potter's house! Call Dobby when you need him!"

And with that, Dobby disappeared. She fixed her hair, straightened her suit. Cassiopeia's black suit was covered in leaves and her hair was sticking out.

She quickly put her hair in a ponytail before walking towards the door that Dobby pointed. She knocked, loudly.

She could hear yelling from inside the house, and then someone burst the door open angrily. There stood a large man, with white hair and white a moustache. He was red, obviously angry.

"Who is it? What do you want?!" He sneered, "I don't want any of your stupid things!"

Cassiopeia fixed her posture, and used the face that she would normally use when she is at the Ministry with her father.

"Hello, my name is---" she was cut off.

"Who is it dad? You're going to miss our favourite show---" a boy asked, his eyed then landed on Cassiopeia and his mouth (which had some chocolate all over) twitched into a smirk, he drags his hand over his hair and his eyebrows wiggled at her.

Cassiopeia couldn't help herself, her face turned into a disgusted look.

"What's your name, beautiful," he bit his lip.

Cassiopeia cleared her throat, "I was about to introduce myself, but you interrupted me,"

"Well, get on with it woman," the old man hissed.

Cassiopeia sent him a glare, "My name is Cassiopeia Malfoy, I'm here to see Harry Potter. You are the Dursley's?"

Mr Dursley's eyes widen, but then it quickly turned angry. "How do you know him?!"

"From Hogwarts of course," replied Cassiopeia, smiling.

Mr Dursley turned white, and his son gaped at the girl in front of him.

"Is there a problem?" She questioned.

"Yes! I don't want your kind here!" He yelled, as he was about to shut the door close, Cassiopeia stopped it with her foot.

"My kind?" She questioned, in a high voice that sounded quite threatening. "I'm a witch, a pureblood witch. And that means my entire family knows magic...even if you shut the door, I will still find a way to get in. You don't want to upset me now, do you Mr Dursley?"

Vernon gulped, opened the door once again as his son took a step back behind his father.

"Now, I'd like to see Harry. Will you show me to his room or will you bring him down here?" She questioned, lifting a brow.

"Up there, second door," said Vernon, his voice shaking.

"Thank you," she said, she stepped inside their small house.

"What are you to Harry anyway?" scoffed Dudley, "I never imagined someone visiting him. Let alone Harry having friends."

"I'm not just his friend," replied Cassiopeia as she walked up the stairs. "I'm his girlfriend," Dudley's jaw dropped, surprised.

"No way Harry pulled her," he hissed.

Cassiopeia smiled to herself, she turned to the second door and knocked. She checked her arm to make sure the bandage was still wrapped.

She could hear footsteps, and then the door swung open. His annoyed face turned into a much softer one when he noticed that it was a person that he did not really expect to see in front of his bedroom door.

"Cassiopeia! How did you get here?" grinned Harry as Cassiopeia swung her arms around him, bringing him into a very tight hug.

"Dobby helped me," she replied as she walked inside his room after she parted the hug. "The Muggles were awful, wanted to see what they really were like,"

"Oh yeah, they're the worst. I'm impressed how you got through them," chuckled Harry.

"I sort of threatened them," she smirked, sitting down on his bed. "Lovely room you've got here,"

"Oh yeah, real lovely," Harry scoffed, grabbing his pillow and throwing it to her face.

She threw it back at him, "Come on, I really want to talk to you. It's been hard back at the Manor, you're the only person I want to talk to it about,"

"Of course, where shall we go?" asked Harry, as he grabbed his wallet.

"Get some school supplies? Then maybe we can spend a night at the Leaky Cauldron," said Cassiopeia, lifting a brow.

"Very well, do you want to talk to the Dursley's?" He smirked.

"Of course I do," she returned the smirked. Harry grabbed his jacket, and he walked over to the door. He opened it.

"After you," he chuckled.

"Why thank you," she winked. They both walked down the stairs, then Harry lead her into the living room where the Dursely's were all huddled up in the couch. A thin woman with a very long neck sat next to her husband, who blinked when Cassiopeia entered the room behind Harry.

"Get her out of this house, this instant!" yelled Mr Dursely.

"Why? I haven't performed my magic trick yet!" exclaimed Cassiopeia, making Mrs Dursely whimper. Dudley gulped, and Mr Dursley fumed, though he did not say anything.

Harry gave Cassiopeia a small smile before turning to the Dursley's.

"I will be back tomorrow, she and I will spend some time together," said Harry.

"Go! Just leave! I don't care, boy!" shouted Mr Dursley.

"Thank you," said Cassiopeia, before grabbing Harry's arm and walking out if the house. They both laughed.

"Those Muggles are sure scared of us," snorted Cassiopeia, shaking her head.

"You have no idea," Harry rolled his eyes. "Well then, let's go shall we?"

"Go over there, let me call Dobby!" she pointed towards the bush, Harry frowned before nodding and walking towards where Cassiopeia pointed.

A few moments later, Dobby appeared and he held both their hands.

Cassiopeia looked at Harry, "don't puke,"

"Why---?"

Before Cassiopeia could answer, they both were brought into a whirlwind.
