from 12 to 5 ╱ the nations tragedy ◟੭

✱ ͡ ﹒𝓥𝗘𝗡𝝝𝗠 ╱ Hangul: 베놈, RR: benom, known as horizon girls pre-debut ❫, is a south korean girl group that currently consists of 5 members; 𝓢ihyun, 𝓙uliette, 𝓚at, 𝓢pencer and 𝓝abi. They debuted as 12 members on February 16, 2016, with the mini album ❛ YOUR TWELVE ❜ under Horizon Media.

Since even before their debut they have been the victims of tragedy, and since only a year after their reveal to the world they have steadily lost members. In 2017 the members were involved in a serious accident wherin one member passed away and another chose to leave. The following year yet another member left, and in 2019 another member tragically passed away followed by another member leaving the group.

In 2020 it was announced that the remaining members had signed with Starlit Music after their old agency, Horizon Media, closed in late 2019, and they had their quote-unquote redebut with the album ❛ ACID EYES ❜, and shortly after this another member left the group. Then, 2021, one member went on hiatus, which they still haven't returned from, and as an effect of this another member was removed from the group.

Their first stroke of luck hit when a new member joined the team in the summer of 2021, but it didn't last as this same member chose to leave the group within 6 months of their addition to the team. VEN𝝝M continued, now with only 4 members, up until the autumn of 2023 where they once again came across a shred of luck, as a former member returned to the group.

The original 12 members of the group were; 𝓓oyeong, 𝓧ian, 𝓙uliette, 𝓜ijeong, 𝓢ihyun, 𝓢aere, 𝓚atsumi, 𝓙iayi, 𝓚imi, 𝓢pencer, 𝓗anxi, and 𝓝abi. Officially, 𝒟oyeong is still a member of the group, but she hasn't promoted with them in over 3 years and the chances of her returning are extremely slim. Though the girls themselves have been riddled with tragedy since before they even made their debut, the group itself has been rather successful, with international fame and tons of wins under their belt. ‧ ᶻ 𝘇 𐰁
