The candles look so bright,
And young is the night,
My heart filled with overwhelming delight.
"So can't we escape?"
"But what if they complain?"
"Should I really care?"
"'Cause that won't be fair."

This is the first time in endless ages,
That there are no cages-
Enclosing me,
Enthralling me.
This is the first time,
There's magic and there is love,
Someone to see my plight,
And light me up with stars that never alight.

It feels so strange,
It's making me derange.
But it feels really right,
To be here with you,
Witnessing this alluring sight.
Breathtaking,
Maybe that's why I'm falling-
Falling for you,
Your eyes
And that dazzling smile,
Breathtaking, indeed.

I want to escape,
Run into a beautiful landscape.
I want to climb up that tower,
And stare at the verdure.
When the night seeps in,
I want to stargaze,
And during the day,
I want to make the sky blaze.
I don't just want to exist,
But I really want to live,
At least, for once in endless ages,
I want to write my own pages-
My own story,
Without a worry.

But..
I want you to be in my story,
In my poetries
And in every book I read.
I want you to be mine,
All mine and only mine.
