"I love waking up next to you... can't you just sell your house and live with me?"
Joshua's request skimmed past Seokmin's mind as he rolled his eyes, getting up from Joshua's bed. He'd basically been living with Joshua for the past 1 week as his love had refused to let him go home.
"If I live with you, I'll never be able to get any work done." Seokmin protested, tugging at the hem of his pajamas. Joshua also got out of bed, sliding towards Seokmin.
"And why is that?" He asked as he slowly placed his hands around Dokyeom's waist, his voice low and hoarse as it brushed against Dokyeom's ear.
Seokmin tensed up but refused to give in. "You're such a tease... that's why." He attempted to push Joshua's hands off but his grip was too tight.
"I'm not a tease, you're the real tease." Joshua retorted and Seokmin turned his head slightly, just enough to see Joshua's face. "That's not true." He disagreed, his hands now on top of Joshua's.
"Yes it is, everything you do, everything you say, how you walk, how you talk, everything about you is so... enticing. You really don't know how much I hold myself back, do you Mon Coeur?" Joshua rested his head on Dokyeom's shoulder.
Their skin coming in contact made Seokmin bite down on his lip, and his desires.
That nickname made Seokmin feel things he shouldn't have been feeling, it convinced him to do things he shouldn't have been wanting to do.
Joshua was so dominant, to the point where Seokmin was no match for him. His mannerisms were a dead giveaway that he was always ahead, always above Seokmin.
At all times.
"Now do you want to go back to bed... or should we make some breakfast?" Joshua questioned, tilting his head to the side and delivering a gentle kiss to Seokmin's shoulder and then his neck.
His tone was so innocent and yet his thoughts were so deadly, his duality fascinated Seokmin and at the same time clouded his head with bad thoughts. Thoughts that were full of sin, dragged from the pits of hell.
"...Breakfast." Seokmin's voice trembled at the touch of Joshua. He had never imagined that a human being would have this much impact on him, this much control over him. Whenever Joshua was near, it was near impossible for Seokmin to resist him.
He was a blessing and a curse in disguise, sent to endow Seokmin with both love and fear. Both peace and turbulence. He was Seokmin's final choice. The beginning of the end.
On the other hand, Joshua had never thought he would be able to have this much power, dominance over someone. People feared him because of his wealth, his security, never because of himself. People obeyed him because they feared him.
But Dokyeom wasn't afraid of him, Dokyeom showed him what it meant to be loved, to be treasured, to be seen as worth it.
If he had the chance to go back in time, he would confess his feelings to Dokyeom right away, not stupidly while away time by being confused and indecisive.
"Okay, let's go." Joshua said and the two smiled and giggled as they wobbled over to the stairs and down to the kitchen.
"What do you want to make?" Joshua asked, sitting on the counter, his focus completely on Dokyeom and nowhere else. "French toast, I heard you like it." Seokmin replied with a tender smile as he looked at Joshua who smiled back, fondly.
"I didn't know you could cook." Joshua admitted, leaning backwards a bit. Seokmin shrugged, a confident expression on his face as he replied, "Well, now you know."
Joshua chuckled at the look on his face but then he began to study Dokyeom's features. He was genuinely majestic and magnificent. It made Joshua wonder how he had been able to get Dokyeom to fall in love with him. He was such a rare type of person to stumble across and yet Joshua had, and now, he was all his.
And he would never let him out of grasp. No one else could have him, no one else required him as much Joshua did. He was completely and utterly Joshua's and there was no changing that.
"Stop staring at me like that." Seokmin pouted as he placed the first slice of toast in the pan, the sizzle making Joshua lick his lips in anticipation. He was really famished... in lots of ways.
"Like what? You can't even see me." Joshua pointed out and Seokmin rolled his eyes, facing Joshua slightly, "I can feel your eyes on me." He explained before turning back.
"Oh really?" Joshua asked, lifting himself off the counter and strolling towards Dokyeom, hugging him from behind again. Seokmin's senses tingled, a wave of pleasure rushing over him. Joshua's touch made him go wild in every way possible.
"Hands off, I'm cooking." Seokmin commanded, his voice assertive and dominant. Joshua immediately took his hands off at Dokyeom's beckon, a pout on his face as he moved back to the counter.
Seokmin plated the first toast when he noticed the pout on Joshua's face. He was so cute. How could anyone refer to this baby as the devil? They just didn't know him well enough and they probably didn't even care to.
Seokmin picked up the slice and shuffled towards Joshua, placing himself in between Joshua's legs. "Here." Seokmin said, nonchalantly as he put the toast in Joshua's mouth.
The taste of the toast was buttery and sweet. With the delightful taste of the egg that coated the bread and the honey Dokyeom had drizzled on top, the bite took Joshua's tongue to wonderland.
"Is it good?" Seokmin asked, the anticipation and expectation showing in his body language and present in his eyes. Joshua beamed, a nod following as he placed the toast back on the plate and came down from the counter.
"What's wrong?" Seokmin asked but Joshua didn't reply. Instead he turned Dokyeom around and placed him on the counter instead, placing himself in between Dokyeom's legs.
"It's really good. It tastes so good Mon Coeur." Joshua's fingers intertwined with Dokyeom's, a smile spreading across Dokyeom's face once he heard Joshua's review.
"How are you so perfect?" Joshua asked, leaning forward, the space between the two vanishing within seconds. Seokmin's cheeks turned a bright shade of pink as Joshua's face came closer to his.
He wasn't perfect, he was in reality, quite far from it, but something about Joshua telling him he was perfect made him believe that one day, he could be. One day, he could become a good person. A person who deserved to be loved by Joshua Hong.
Before Seokmin could say anything, Joshua had already trapped him a tight hug that was so cosy that it made Seokmin surrender completely, sending warmth all over his body.
He never wanted to leave Joshua's side, ever.
"Shua." Seokmin murmured, catching Joshua by surprise and making him let go. "Another nickname?" Joshua asked and only then did Seokmin understand that he had just given Joshua another nickname.
"What? Do you not like it?" Seokmin teased, crossing his arms. Joshua's eyebrows ruffled, sense of regret in his eyes as he shook his head. "No, no, no, I love it, I love it so much!"
Seokmin giggled and Joshua's tense expression quickly relaxed into a fake frown. "I was just teasing you." Seokmin placed his hands on Joshua's shoulders, a satisfied smirk washing over his face.
"But Shua, can you speak French?" Seokmin inquired. He had been curious about it for a while since on the file he had been given on Joshua, it hadn't stated that he spoke any other languages apart from English.
And he had that file memorised by heart.
Joshua nodded, slowly encapsulating Dokyeom in his arms. "Yeah, I lived in France for about 5 years before I came back to California to take over the company." He answered and Dokyeom's eyes expanded in surprise.
"Why?" He questioned, subconsciously leaning forward. Joshua smiled at Dokyeom's curiosity as it made him look like a cute puppy. "Well, my grandfather told me if I wanted to take over, I needed to understand what it meant to be under people."
"As if I hadn't been tramped upon by my family members all my life." Joshua's tone was bittersweet as memories of his past resurfaced. "So I went there and began working in a factory, stayed there for 5 years and became fluent in the language."
"Not a very pleasant experience but I didn't expect an easy takeover, not with the way everyone viewed me." Joshua finished his explanation and his eyes started to glisten while his shoulders drooped. Seokmin looked at him with such tenderness, only wanting to cheer him up and hold him in his arms for infinity.
"I'm sorry Shua." Seokmin hugged Joshua, rubbing his back in circles to comfort him. Joshua smiled weakly as tears tipped over the edge of his eyes, dripping down his cheeks.
In the past, he hadn't been vulnerable enough to open up about his experiences and cry and just let everything out but with Dokyeom, everything was so easy, like a walk in the park.
"It's not your fault... you're the only person who gets me." Joshua confessed and Seokmin let go slightly, his hands still around Joshua's neck. "You're the only person who has ever tried to understand me, to not just pin me down as an evil person."
Seokmin's head tilted to the side as he gazed at Joshua, his eyes slowly filling up but the tears refusing to fall out. "Thank you for that Mon Coeur, for seeing me as a person." Joshua said before going closer to Dokyeom, capturing their mouths in a tender and light kiss, one full of comfort and love.
They were each other's safe space.
The love of each other's lives.
