With each other's company and love from every one around them, the next six months passed by in the blink of an eye.

Seokmin eventually stopped using his wheelchair and started to walk again and with a little help from Joshua, he walked everywhere until he didn't need help anymore.

Wonwoo had officially moved to LA three months ago, getting signed to a popular publishing company and releasing his first book which became a bestseller in no time. A love story inspired by his own love story with a happy ending.

Joshua, while still supervising the company, had successfully handed it over to Vernon who accepted the role with appreciation and determination.

The two men had also opened their own business, a bakery. They had such good and fun memories tied to baking, especially their famous Christmas cookies, so much that they just had to make a career out of it.

Wasn't it funny? An ex CEO and ex assassin had decided to become bakers. Life sure did have some unexpected twists.

Overall, everyone was doing their own thing, living life happily with no dominant worries as it was always meant to be.

But Seokmin had other plans of his. He wanted to propose without Joshua knowing.

Joshua had a habit of finding out everything Seokmin planned to do, he was Seokmin's very own detective but this was too important.

Joshua had to be surprised for this.

"September 21st, what's so special about that day?" Vernon whirled the whiskey in his glass as he looked at Seokmin. Since he had become the CEO, he had gained an unmistakable aura, one so powerful that it warned people from miles away.

Vernon himself didn't realize how powerful he was despite being the CEO of Hong Corporations, one of the biggest businesses in the world.

Seokmin sipped his water. His doctor had advised him not to drink alcohol for a while some months ago but choosing water became a habit and now alcohol seemed foreign to him.

"It marks six months since we started dating. I really want to do it on that day." Seokmin explained, failing to hide his excitement as he buzzed up and down. Vernon sighed, taking a sip.

"Wait, what do you need my help for again?" Vernon asked and Seokmin shook his head, disappointed but not surprised at Vernon being absent-minded.

"You need to distract him that day, I don't know how but you just have to, he's always finding out and spoiling all my surprises! But this time, he can't find out, please help me Vernonie." Seokmin put his hands together, pleading as he shone his puppy dog eyes.

Vernon simply nodded, dropping his glass. "Okay sure, I'll help you but you have to help me with something too." Vernon proposed and Seokmin nodded fervently.

"What? What is it?"

"If you were me, how would you ask your secretary out on a date?" Vernon questioned, seeming calm but his heart was a scattered mess inside. Seokmin smiled at Vernon's cuteness.

He had been waiting for this day to come. The day Vernon would finally man up and ask Seungkwan out.

With the way he stared at Seungkwan every second of every single day, Seokmin couldn't help but wonder how they weren't married yet.

"Just ask him out Vernon, don't make it seem to casual but don't overdo it either, Seungkwan likes you, everyone knows that." Seokmin answered and Vernon's eyebrows shot up.

"Really?" He queried, shocked by this new piece of information. Seokmin chuckled, nodding as he patted Vernon on the shoulder.

"Really. Just trust me and don't waste any time okay?" Seokmin reassured Vernon who nodded in agreement, standing up from his seat.

"Okay Mr. Lee."

"Ya! How many times have I told you to just call me Seokmin or hyung?!"

Joshua squinted his eyes as he rubbed his chin. He glared at Vernon who was in front of him with multiple files.

Something was off but he just couldn't tell what. Vernon hadn't come to him for "advice" in months. So why did he decide to do so today?

"So... you're saying you want my input?" Joshua questioned, his disbelief in Vernon oozing from his tone. Vernon pursed his lips cutely, nodding in response.

He tapped on the files.

"Just read them and tell me what I should do, please." Vernon requested and Joshua sucked on his teeth, crossing his legs as he leaned back. Vernon wasn't going to break?

Fine then. He would play along for now.

But there was something hidden that he had to uncover. Vernon was hiding something.

And he was going to find out what.

He opened the first file, looking at the contract. Hong Corp would take 60% but would also be responsible for all liabilities. "Good, but we can't be responsible for all liabilities when it's the other company that's in charge of the construction."

He moved to the next contract then the next, then the next until he was done with all 30 and 2 hours had gone by. Now was the time.

He stood up going round the table to Vernon's side before choking him lightly. "What the hell?!" Vernon held Joshua's arm allowing him to close in on Vernon's neck more.

"Spill it in 3... 2... 1-"

"I wanted to ask for advice on how to ask Seungkwan out!" Vernon lied, exposing himself in the process. Seokmin needed to pay him extra for being so dedicated to the bit.

Joshua's hold loosened and Vernon pushed his arm away, touching his neck just to make sure it was still there.

Seungkwan? Date?

Vernon was interested in Seungkwan? Since when?

"You like Boo Seungkwan?" Joshua asked, bewildered and Vernon rolled his eyes, standing up. He began to stack the files, ignoring Joshua.

"Okay fine fine, I won't say anything weird. Just ask him out Vernon, I knew he liked you but damn, didn't know you liked him too." Joshua patted Vernon on the shoulder while Vernon tilted his head in confusion.

Why did everyone think Seungkwan liked him?

He was the one obsessed with Seungkwan from his head to his toes. Everything about him sparkled like gold in Vernon's eyes. Since Seungkwan had entered his life, he had stumbled upon real happiness, real human emotions.

Seungkwan was undoubtedly his very own sunshine. Brightening up Vernon's day with minimal effort any time he walked into the company every morning.

If anything, Vernon was the one into Seungkwan.

Vernon gave Joshua an appreciative nod before leaving the café with the files. Joshua went back to his seat, leaning backwards as he sipped on his coffee.

Vernon and Seungkwan. Interesting combination but he was rooting for them nonetheless.

His phone dinged, turning on as a message flashed on the screen. Joshua saw the contact name 'Mon Coeur💓' and picked up the phone immediately tapping on the message which opened up to their chat.

'Babe, can you pick these flowers up for me? I need them for a new recipe!'

Attached to the message was the address of a flower garden and the name of the flowers - Cyclamens.

He had never heard of the flower before but he suddenly started to wonder how it tasted. He finished up his coffee, paid and left the café, getting into his car before replying.

'Of course I can love, on my way there now."

Even if Seokmin had asked him to jump into a tank of sharks, he would because it was Seokmin. His one and only Seokmin who he was absolutely and unconditionally in love with.

"Good morning Sir! I'm here to pick up a bouquet of Cyclamens? For Mr. Lee Seokmin." Joshua informed the old man at the counter who squinted as he checked his list of orders before nodding, making a gesture to Joshua urging him to follow behind.

Through a door behind the counter, they walked out of the building into a field of grass and from afar, Joshua could see the huge flower garden with flowers that sprouted up so high, they could possibly reach his waist.

It was breathtaking, seeing the flowers lined up in colourful patterns with their different builds, some opened, some closed, some swaying and some stagnant.

"Go down there, you see these, you pick how many then come back to me, okay?" The owner showed Joshua a photo of the Cyclamens before going back into the shop.

Joshua stared around confused. He thought the bouquet would've been prepared and he'd just need to get it and pay for it if Seokmin hadn't already.

Did he really have to pick the flowers by himself? What if he accidentally killed it or something? Or ruined the man's flower garden?

Joshua took his first steps towards the garden, calming himself down with simple breaths. He could do this, he just had to pick a few flowers, it really shouldn't be that hard.

As Joshua walked down the not so spacious path in between the beds of flowers on his left and right, he carefully inspected each one, searching for Seokmin's Cyclamens.

But as he reached the middle of the path, he saw Seokmin on one knee with his hands out and a shiny, red box settled in between them.

The ring emitted light, glowing under the rays of the sun up above them. The 18 carat red diamond glistened under the light, almost blinding Joshua who stepped back covering his face with his hands.

He couldn't believe his eyes. Seokmin was proposing to him? Seokmin wanted to marry him? Seokmin wanted to spend the rest of his life with him?

"I'll put it simply. I'm undeniably in love with you Joshua, not that I'd ever even try to deny it. You're my whole world, to me, the sun, the moon, the earth all orbit around you. I'm so in love with you that I can't go one day without thinking of you, actually, no, I can't go one second without thinking of you." Seokmin's words came from his heart, genuine and sincere as he looked into Joshua's eyes which had already started to tear up.

"I've met a lot of people in my life, both good and bad but none of them have ever captivated me entirely like you do Joshua. I have never loved anyone so passionately like I love you, I have never cherished anyone like I cherish you.

I laugh when you laugh, I smile when you smile, I cry when you cry, I suffer when you suffer and even if I had the chance to detach myself from you, I wouldn't take it because I need you. I lose my breath whenever you walk into a room and when you leave I never regain it.

You're my everything Shua. You're the reason I wake up, the reason I smile, the reason I'm happy, the reason I'm still alive. Everything in my life depends on you Joshua and it always will.

The way you care for me, the way you love me. I don't think anyone else can, no, I know that there is no one else that can replicate that which is why I don't want to waste any more time.

My brother told me to appreciate what I have every moment and I live by that statement which is why I want to make you my eternity, the only one I'll ever wake up to and fall asleep with.

So, will you do me the honour of becoming my husband, Joshua Hong?" Seokmin's voice cracked at the end, revealing his true emotions and the gratefulness he'd been pushing back so he could deliver his speech perfectly.

Joshua who had been crying since Seokmin started his speech, nodded vehemently, putting his hand out as Seokmin placed the ring on his finger.

If someone had told him that he would be engaged to Seokmin in the future, he would've called the person a liar but here he was with Seokmin's ring on his finger.

Seokmin got up, putting the box in his pocket before colliding with Joshua in an intense hug as they both cried into each other's shoulders, tears of joy dripping from their eyes.

For a moment, it was just them and the sound of their happy sniffles and the comfort of their bodies against one another.

"I love you so much, Seokmin, I love you soooo much." Joshua repeated over and over into Seokmin's ears, his words ever melodious and honey-like. Seokmin smiled, replying, "I'm obsessed with you Joshua Hong, I'll never hurt you again, I promise."

Joshua pushed Seokmin off gently. "Do you think I'm not obsessed with you?" He crossed his arms as he pretended to be offended. Seokmin chuckled, waving his hand but Joshua pushed it away playfully.

"Mon Coeur, I worship the very ground you walk on every single day, tu es la raison de mon existence. Mon destin, ma destinée, mon éternité." Joshua pulled Seokmin closer, his voice tantalising as his breath mingled with Seokmin's, his eyes burning with desire.

"And don't think I'm the only one going to get this." Joshua pointed to the ring on his finger. "I'm getting you one too." Seokmin rolled his eyes before laying a satisfying kiss on Joshua's lips.

"I knew you wouldn't budge, love. But guess what?" Seokmin wrapped his arm around Joshua's neck while Joshua claimed his waist. "What?"

"I surprised you!" Seokmin cheered, celebrating his victory with a little dance which made Joshua chuckle. "Fine, congrats on your first time surprising me, I loved it."

"I know, so you should let me surprise you more." Seokmin pouted and Joshua smiled brightly, unable to ignore Seokmin's charm. "When we get married, I will."

"Seriously?!" Seokmin's eyes widened then decreased as Joshua shook his head with a teasing smirk, "Nope!"

He ran off with Seokmin chasing him and the two crashed into each other as Joshua flipped around, falling on the grass, covered by flower petals.

"You goof, look what you've done to yourself." Seokmin smiled, picking out a petal from Joshua's hair. Joshua did the same, plucking a petal from Seokmin's cheek.

"Thank you, for proposing." Joshua thanked Seokmin, the sincerity in his eyes evident. Seokmin nodded, a fond smile on his face as he replied, "Thank you for accepting."

The two wrapped their hands around each other, leaning in for a kiss. Once their mouths met, their bodies lit off like sparks, the fire in them, the hidden desire unveiling itself as their hands roamed each other's bodies while they explored their mouths with their tongues.

Engaging in a passionate dance, Seokmin's hands went up in Joshua's hair tugging at it as Joshua sucked on his lip, the sensation sending feelings of pleasure all over his body.

As their lips parted, they suspired heavily, their breaths merging together as the heat of the moment cooled down leaving them with anticipation for what they would do once they got home.

"Don't you wish there was a better expression than I love you?" Joshua pushed Seokmin's hair behind his ear. "Yeah, I do, why? What have you conjured up in that sexy brain of yours?" Seokmin inquired making Joshua cringe as he laughed.

He pondered for a bit before pursing his lips. "Nothing really." He answered and seeing Seokmin's anticipation quickly fade into annoyance made him laugh.

"You clown, why did you even bring it up then?" Seokmin asked before joining Joshua to laugh, the sound of their happiness just from being in each other's presence overwhelming the field.

The flowers began to sway just a little bit more, even the stagnant ones, participating in the couple's act of love.

"But baby, you do know cyclamens aren't edible right? That's means I tricked you two times! I win!"
