"Mikealson ball sounds lavish!" I declared to my sister as frowned and nodded. "I don't think we should go, Avie," she complained for the third time since the invitation came. "Why Klaus especially gave it to me," I cried. "ok but right it's sho-" before she could complete we heard the doorbell. "I'll check!" I said as I got up from my place and went to check. There was no one but a white box with a letter on it. I took it to my room and opened the letter.

Do come to the ball Stark. And save me a dance!

"Wow, he is so sweet!" Caroline mocked me... "shut up!" And I opened the box only to find a beautiful red corset dress... "oh my god" Caroline exclaimed. "I know!" My eyes were wide open looking at the breathtaking dress... "We are definitely going to the ball at 7 pm tonight," I stated.

Evening and my heart was racing. I still had to do my hair and put the dress on. "Caroline!" I shouted as she came out in her outfit already. I begged her to make my hair and she did so I quickly got dressed and we left for the ball.

Caroline dropped me at the mansion and said she'll be there in a while. So I went inside. The doors got opened and I was taken away by the looks of the mansion I knew Klaus was doing something good in here but this it's just breathtaking. The lady near the door took my coat revealing my beautiful red dress. My eyes scanned the room to see Matt, Rebekah, Damon, Elena, Stefan and more.

I started to move inside and my eyes caught Klaus's eyes. A smile grew on his face as he came near me. "Evening Avery," "Greetings Klaus," we just stared at each other for a while when I excused myself for a drink. I sat near the bar with a glass of champagne in my hand. "You must be the hybrid Forbes?" "Yes who would like to know?" I questioned with a raised eyebrow. "Kol. Kol Mikealson," "Klaus has another brother!" I was shocked. "Yes, I'm the youngest brother. And we do have another brother the eldest," "yeah I know Elijah," he smiled "no elder than Elijah also Finn," "oh I didn't know," "don't worry is not someone to know. He is a bore!" I laughed at his words and so he did too.

"What did you say Kol that made Avie laugh!" Rebekah asked. "I'm sorry I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Avery Stark Forbes," he took my hand and placed a kiss on it. "Rebekah. You look beautiful," "you too Ava!"

"So whose idea is this... to keep a ball in Mystic Falls?" I asked out of curiosity. Rebekah took a breath and said "our mother!" "The one you said Klaus killed... thousands of years ago" "yeah Ava!" This is quite confusing. "Sister will you leave me and Avery alone" Klaus spoke which brought me back to reality.

"Klaus!"

"Avery!"

"Your mother!"

"My mother?"

"How?"

"What how?"

"Alive?"

"Oh we are supernatural beings darling raising from the dead is our passion..." he joked. 

"Yeah, you are right. The correct moment to joke!" He started to laugh so did I. We talked more for a while when Elijah called Klaus and announced that it was time for the dance.

"May I" Klaus spoke. And I happily placed my hand on his.

We all lined up in the position for the ball. This just like a fantasy. Slowly the music started and I joined my hands with Klaus as we started to dance. "I heard about your stepfather,"

"Seriously Nik!"

"Very well on to more manage subject that how ravishing you look in this dress,"

"I didn't have time to shop,"

"And what's your excuse for the bracelet?"

We both laughed and it was time for me to spin in someone else's arms. "Elijah" "Avery."

We dance for a while...

Everything was coming to end. Slowly people were going back so it got less crowded. Nik pulled me away to a room. "Where are yo--," I stopped in the middle when I scanned the room. A room filled with lots of paintings and arts. "Wow!" I exclaimed. "Come on," I walked inside and examined everything carefully. But there was a canvas covered with a cloth, "What is that?" "Go on," I moved forward and removed the cloth. I was surprised. A canvas of me which was beyond amazing than me. "This is more beautiful than the real me," he laughed at my words. "It is still half done will be completing it soon, maybe till your graduation..." 

"Yeah but I want more for my graduation which is not happening," 

"means?"

"Um since I became a hybrid and the trip we went on, I've been missing school a lot and I thought I have forever to study so I dropped school,"

"I guess wise choice,"

"Yeah, the best,"

I moved towards the table and saw more of me, on small small canvases, paper, sketchpad and more. "So you like to draw me," it consists on me on our date, my birthday and many more of our or my moments on the trip in summer. It just took my breath away.

"why me?" I asked as I turned around and tilted my head a bit. "I guess you are the best model I've ever had," "you have your wonderful stunning sister then why me," he took a step closer. "I guess because you are far more stunning that my sister," he took another step closer leaving a inch between us. "I guess you the most exquisite beauty I've ever seen in my life. I guess you ar-" "Stop. Nik... why me?" He tilted he head in the opposite direction of mine and spoke softly in my ears. "I guess because I'm falling for you!" The words that just were like heaven. I placed my hand on his cheeks with a small soft smile. He smiled back showing his dimples which were just unbearable. "I guess Nik you are right," I leaned in and placed my lips on his. And in a second only it became steamy. He started to undress me and so did I. I didn't realise that we were in his bed now. And the night just continue in pleasure...

And yeah, I too have fallen for him
