As the second, and last born, son of king Ecbert, Bryht had been the neglected one in the family. As a young boy, Bryht had been very effected with the absence of the attention from his parents. This caused him to go on adventures by himself. Bryht had learned to have fun by himself.
Eventually he grew older, and his parents decided to get infested with his free time spendings. They wanted him to do something which was useful for the country aswel, instead of just hanging around in the woods.
Bryht got sword fighting lessons and ended up as the head of the army.
