A gang called the "Eagles of Karma" is made up of mutants who want to bring justice into this corrupt world. They give evil people their just desserts.

They basically utterly destroy them by gathering evidence and give it to the higher ups, show the evidence on live TV as well as a picture of the bad person, kill the beings in ironic ways(though death is rare), humiliate them publicly, beat them to a pulp, etc.

For example: A serial rapist was found hanging upside-down on a building, his dick and balls were gone(surgically removed), and the evidence proving he was guilty was stapled to his face. Graffitied on the building near them were the words: "Eagles of Karma" followed by a red eagle.

Another example is when a news broadcast was intercepted and pictures of a corrupt politician sleeping with someone underage covered the screens all across the city while a deep voice kept chanting "guilty" in the background. Every time a picture would flash, a picture of a red eagle would be shown right afterwards.
