"This is Wayne Gretzky." The voice on the other end of the line said.

Cosette's eyes widened and a smile creeped onto her face as she looked at the other girls, they were all beyond excited, you'd be pretty excited if Wayne Gretzky called you.

"Its a pleasure to be speaking to you." Cosette said with a smile, slightly nervous to be talking to Wayne Gretzky.

"Its a pleasure to be able to talk to you, so, myself and Mr. Sidney Crosby would like to help support the Evolution. We completely understand if the support isn't wanted." Wayne said understandingly.

"No, no, no, that would be absolutely fabulous, uh, if Sidney and you could come by tomorrow, that would be absolutely fabulous because we have testing for team placement and i think the girls would love it if two amazing players could be there to watch?" Cosette asked him with a smile.

"Of course ma'am, Mr.Crosby and I will be there as soon as possible." Wayne said, and you could tell he was smiling. 

"Okay, thank you Mr.Gretzky, we can't wait to see you, have a good day." Cosette smiled before hanging up the phone and looking at the other girls, they all burst out in excited yells. 

"Oh. My. God. Wayne Gretzky AND Sidney Crosby are coming to help with OUR organization!" Tasha said, a tone of shock in her voice. 

Emersen nodded, "Okay, we have to stay calm tomorrow or we blow this whole thing, and no falling in love, Cos." Emersen playfully teased her. Cosette playfully rolled her eyes, "Like I would fall in love with Sidney Crosby." Cosette snorted out a laugh. 

THE NEXT DAY

Cosette and the girls stood by the main entrance of the Scotiabank arena, waiting for Wayne and Sidney. They soon saw a black limo pull up and Wayne Gretzky and Sidney Crosby stepped out. 

"Ladies, its nice to meet you all." Wayne Gretzky said with a smile and Cosette shook her head, "Its a pleasure to meet you, sir." Cosette smiled as she shook his and and he greeted the other girls. 

Sidney walked up to Cosette, both of them having a smirk on their faces. "Crybaby." Cosette whispered to him, a smirk on her face as she stepped closer to him. 

Sidney and Cosette looked right at each other, considering he was only an inch taller than her, "Bubbly." He whispered back, a smirk on his face. 

"Oh shut up, Crosby." Cosette laughed as she rolled her eyes, smacking the back of his head and walking away from him. 

"No falling in love C, we have more important things." Emersen muttered to her, and Cosette rolled her eyes. 

"We were just teasing each other, we were not flirting, Em." Cosette muttered back, slightly smiling at her and then looking over at Sidney who was talking to Wayne. 

Emersen laughed and shook her head, before walking away. "Hey C." Sidney smiled, jogging up next to her. 

"What do you need, Crosby?" Cosette laughed at him and he chuckled, shaking his head. 

"I don't need anything, just figured we could talk, not like hockey player to hockey player, like person to person." Sidney said with a shrug. 

"You lived in Philly, right?" He asked her and she nodded, "I did, when I played with the Flyers, that was the year before I really focused on this league, this league shaped me into who I am right now, kinda like how the Pens are your family, the girls are mine and this evolution will bring even more girls together and it'll be like one big hockey family and then we can bring in some men, start bringing in even more people and then we can have teams all over the US and Canada, not just the Western and Eastern, like actual teams." Cosette smiled as she explained, Sidney listening to her, smiling hearing how passionate she was about the topic. 

"That's absolutely brilliant, you are one of the most passionate people about hockey I know, really." Sidney smiled at her. 

"You seriously mean that?" Cosette asked him in pure confusion and he nodded, "You fight for what you believe in, you fight for what you love and for things no one else has the balls to." He smiled at her, she shook her head. 

"Its not about being scared for standing up for what you believe in, most people are scared of what others will think if they stand up for what they believe in, frankly for me, no one likes me depending on what I say or do, so I have nothing to worry about." Cosette shrugged with a smile. 

He nodded, "So, what am I going to be helping with?" Sidney asked her, "You'll be helping me with the testing, each girl takes a basic test, kinda like the physicals we take every month, but this is a little harder. The better girls will be sent to work with Gretzky and Tasha and the one who need improvement will work with me and you because we can be a bit more active with them." Cosette smiled and Sidney nodded, 

The two of them noticed the first two buses of girls had arrived, "Looks like it's time." Cosette smiled and walked over to the front, the other girls were there and at least 50,000 girls had to be there, some were well known like Heidi Toews and Ryleigh Hudson. 

Cosette smiled and was handed a microphone by Calista, "Girls, welcome to Toronto, this will be your home for the next year, maybe longer if you are truly what we are looking for, the DREAM TEAM league is not very diverse and women's hockey is not well known at all, so me and my girls have decided we want to make women's hockey just as well known as leagues such as DREAM TEAM, the NHL, and even the OHL! So, this is your chance to show us, who the women of hockey really are, we need you to just come up to the sign up tables in the front and you'll be directed from there, I see an estimated 50,000 right now, so we will be taking around 10,000 girls for the next 5 days, and then we will go from there. So, lets start this evolution!" Cosette smiled and all the girls cheered loudly and yelled loudly. 

"Okay, Tash and Wayne, you'll be working with the better players since they won't need much help with anything. Sidney and I will work with the players who need a bit of a boost. Okay?" Cosette said and they all nodded. 

Cosette stood in the main lobby of the arena, next to Sidney. (if you know scotiabank like i do, then you know what i mean, if not just like imagine the main lobby part of the nhl arena you've been to the most!) 

A few good hours later, Cosette and Sidney had a solid 3,000 girls they would be working with, "Okay, get dressed and lets see what we are working with." Cosette said with a nod and the girls gulped and nodded before walking into the locker rooms to get changed for testing.

"Don't be too hard on them, most of them are young." Sidney said, he didn't want Cosette scaring the shit out of these girls. 

Cosette looked at him out of the corner of her eye and smirked, "Can't make any promises, Crosby."
