yo yo yo i'm here to finally do this q + a !!

these questions will pertain to graphic design, and some of them will even be aimed specifically toward beginning designers! i probably have no idea what i'm talking about in this chapter, but let's jump right into it :)

Q — how do you make your graphics?

A — believe it or not, i actually do everything on mobile. i use several different apps, but some of my favorites are pixlr, picsart, polarr, and phonto! i hope to get photoshop some day in the future, but for now, i'm content with the way i make my graphics :)

Q — why did you start making graphics?

A — well, it all started around the summer of 2016. wattpad had been downloaded on my phone for a few months, but i didn't actually start getting into it until school started up again. after reading a few stories on here, i soon decided i wanted to write my own. so, i wrote this cringy-ass teen fic (that i was shamelessly proud of). i hadn't yet discovered graphic shops at the time, so i downloaded the wattpad cover app and started making my own covers for it. long story short, i fell in love with graphic-making, and so here i am now!

Q — where can i find resources?

A — google, pinterest, and deviantart are some good places to start. you can also find tons of resource books on wattpad, but just keep in mind that is important to give proper credits.

Q — why aren't my graphics...good?

A — many designers have asked themselves this question at some point, including myself. tbh, the only way to improve and feel better about your graphics is to practice. you should try experimenting with new techniques to find what suits you best. there are many tutorial books out there, and you shouldn't be afraid to ask your fellow designers for some help! you also should try not to compare yourself to other artists. i am guilty of doing this myself, but we are all at different levels of experience. instead of feeling bad about your own graphics, you should compliment and support others when you admire their work!

Q — will you be accepting any more requests?

A — not from this shop. however, i do plan on opening a second graphic shop in the future! i've also still been workin on that little surprise i mentioned ;)
