Chapter 2

"My name's Riley Mills, and you are?" I said as I stood unsteadily and gazed into the eyes of the blond headed boy with magnetizing eyes.
"I'm Malfoy. Draco Malfoy."
"Get out of here, Malfoy." Snarls Harry.
"Oh, you want the score this time Potter? Sorry, but this one is to hard to let go."
"Okay, sorry, but I don't really enjoy you guys sexualizing my body, especially in front of me. So please, leave, Draco." I respond with a glare, with heat rising in my cheeks.
"Okay, okay, calm down, sweet cheeks. Just call me daddy real quick, and I'll leave." He says with a wink.
As he says that, Harry jumps up and hexes him.
"Ignore that little Ferret." Says Hermione. "Come on, we need to put on our robes." As we went to put on our robes, I saw the silhouette of Hogwarts in the distance.
As I hop off the train with my newfound friends, a stern but friendly looking teacher ascends upon me.
"Hello, Ms. Mills. My name is Professor Mcgonagall. Please, follow me. You will be going with the first years and Professor Hagrid across the lake, where you'll be rowed across and meet in the Dining Hall, where you'll be called upon one by one to sit with the Sorting Hat on your head, where you'll be sorted into your proper house." As she leads me to a man much larger than everyone else, with a big bushy beard, and a bunch of scared looking First Years, we all hop upon a large rowing boat. As Hagrid enrolls a few of the stronger looking ones to help him row, I can't help but marvel at the castle looming in the distance. Halfway through the trip, I see lightning in the distance, along with a clap of thunder and the inevitable dousing of rain. As Hagrid reaches down to grab a big pink umbrella, all the scared first years scramble to get under it. Me, personally, I like the rain. As I lean my head back and swallow up the freshness of the rain, I see a flash and I jolt, and it all goes black.

Author's Note: Don't forget to vote and add this to your reading list! And question: Do y'all like these shorter chapters? When I'm reading a book, I usually prefer short chapters, so I was wondering if y'all wanted me to try and write longer ones or keep it about this length! Also, don't forget to give me some feedback! I'd love to hear what y'all have to say, especially want y'all want to see or want to improve!
