"I need everybody's permission slips, okay?" Mr. Molina yelled. "Sammy, please collect them."

"Yeah." Sammy replied.

Bella, Evelyn and Aaron were standing next to Bella's truck.

"Guys, come on. Let's go. Come on. Get in. In. Let's go!" Mr. Molina continued to yell.

Bella looked as if she was in deep thought, and then she snapped her head up quickly when she saw Edward, Jasper, and Alice walking towards the buses. Suddenly, Mike came up in front of the three friends.

"Look at you guys, huh?" He asked Bella and Evelyn. "You're alive!" He continued, imitating Dr. Frankenstein.

"I know, yeah. False alarm, I guess." Bella replied, looking at Evelyn, who nodded her head.

"Yeah." Mike said. "Um, now I wanted to ask you, you know, if, you know, its like a month away but..." he continued, laughing nervously. "Do you wanna go to prom with me?"

Edward was looking at Bella and smirking. Evelyn was trying to hold back her laughter.

"So what- what do you think?" He asked.

Evelyn nudged Bella with her arm.

"About what?" Bella blinked.

"Do you want to go? To prom? With... me?"

Oh. I- prom. Dancing. Not such a good idea for me."

Evelyn was snickering at her comment now, and Aaron was laughing as well. Bella shot them a look and they stopped.

"Uh, I have something that weekend... anyways." She continued. "I'm-I'm going to Jacksonville that weekend.

"Y-you can't go another weekend?" Mike asked shakily.

"Non-refundable ticket," Bella lied. "You should ask Jessica. I know she wants to go with you."

Mike nodded and looked over to where Jessica was standing. She noticed he was looking at her so she gave him a little wave.

"Yo yo yo. Hey guys, come on. We gotta go, we gotta go. Green is what? Good. Let's go. Guys, come on," Mr. Molina beckoned.

"That was quite a show you put on there Bells," Aaron snickered.

"Would you tell your brother to take his opinion and shove it up his butt? Thanks," Bella asked Evelyn, smiling.

"Eggshells, carrot tops, compost is cool!" Mr. Molina said as the students were walking in the greenhouse. "Now stuff that in there Eric."

"Yes sir, yes sir."

"Very good, very good. Now, I am going to make a steaming cup of compost tea." Molina said, while pouring the liquefied compost into a mug.

Mr. Molina held up the mug very proudly. Tyler walked by and took it out of his hands, making a disgusted face.

"Yeah, this is recycling in it's most basic form, guys," He said, continuing to teach. "Don't drink it! It's for the plants.

"What's in Jacksonville?" Edward suddenly asked Bella.

Bella looked at Evelyn.

"Yeah, uh, we'll leave you two alone, then," Evelyn said, dragging Aaron by the arm and walking away.

"They totally like each other," she told her brother, grinning.

"Definitely." 

When the brother and sister got outside, Eric, Tyler, Mike, and some other people were gathered around some sort of bin. As Evelyn walked towards it to get a closer look, Eric grabbed a stick, stuck it inside the bin, and pulled out a slimy worm.

"Gross," she muttered under her breath.

"Cool," said her brother, walking off to join the boys.

Bella walked out of the greenhouse, and of course, Eric was there to greet her with his worm-on-a-stick.

"Bella, look. It's a worm. It's a worm!" He guffawed.

Evelyn then saw Edward walking at a fast pace behind Bella. Evelyn smiled.

'They would make such a cute couple,' she thought.

"No, you need the mitts. You need them," Eric said.

Evelyn and Aaron were sitting at the lunch table with their friends, waiting for Bella to arrive.

"No, why do you keep arguing with me? You just need them. You're gonna get frostbite!"

Evelyn just sat there, her eyebrows raised.

Bella came to the table and set her bag down. Eric continued to talk.

"Yeah, hey!" He told Bella. "La Push, baby. You in?"

"Should I know what that means?" She asked.

"La Push Beach down at the Quileute Rez. We're all going tomorrow," Mike answered. 

"Yeah, there's a big swell coming in," Jessica added.

"And I don't just surf the internet," Eric said, standing up in his chair, pretending to ride a surfboard. Mike stood up as well.

"Eric, you stood up once," Jessica said, rolling her eyes. "And it was a foam board."

"But there's whale watching, too. Come with us," Angela begged.

"La Push, baby. It's La Push," Eric said once again.

"I'll go if you stop saying that. Okay?" Bella laughed.

She took a bite of celery and walked over to the salad bar. Evelyn watched as she did this, noticing Edward walking over to her. Bella accidentally dropped her apple, and he caught it.

Evelyn turned to her tablemates.

"Bella and Edward would be so cute together. Don't you think?"

"Uh, sure," Eric answered.

"Oh my gosh! They totally would," Angela said.

Mike and Jessica were too engulfed in their own conversation to answer.

"You guys have got to help me get them together!" Evelyn exclaimed.

She suddenly jumped out of her seat and walked over to where Aaron sat. She pulled him up and dragged him to her table and sat him down.

"Ouch, Evelyn, what the hell?" He asked.

"You're going to help us get Bella and Edward together."

"Uh, no thanks. Go ask the vampires," Aaron said, nodding to the Cullens.

"Vampires?" Evelyn questioned.

"Yeah, they're freakishly pale," Aaron answered, getting up and walking away.

Evelyn shrugged and walked over to the Cullen's table.

"Hey guys!" She exclaimed.

"Hey Eve," Emmett said, grinning.

Rosalie rolled her eyes.

"Hey," Jasper smiled.

"So," Evelyn started. "Do you guys see Bella and Edward over there? They look so good together. You should totally help me get them together."

"What are we talking about?" Alice chimed in.

"Woah, Alice, when did you get here?" Evelyn asked, confused.

"Um, a minute ago."

"Eve wants us to get Bella and Edward together," Emmett smirked.

"Ooh!" Alice squealed.

"Okay, who's in?" Evelyn asked.

"Me!" Alice and Emmett said at the same time.

"Sure," Jasper said.

Rosalie rolled her eyes again.

"I'll take that as a no," Evelyn sighed.

Rosalie nodded and folded her arms against her chest.

Evelyn raised an eyebrow at hee before telling them the plan.

author's note: hey guys !! so i'm not dead, i've just had a lot of stuff going on with school and sports. we're moving and building a house so i've been busy with that, and we just had a hurricane. so i'm sorry i haven't been able to write :/ but here's chapter five!! i hope you like it since i wrote it during the hurricane when i was slowly going crazy from having no air conditioning/power/wifi  !!!
