FELICITY DID NOT GET ANY SLEEP that night - the pain that her foster family had caused her was simply to much for her mind to stop spinning around. So she stayed up the entire time, until the sun has sent into dawn, and the snores of their guests had slowly started to disappear.

The brunette woman didn't feel exhausted or tired at all, she had rested enough when she was rescued, so the young princess had to get ready.

She was in her room once more, knowing that Arwen had stayed in there the entire night, in hopes of her to return so she could apologize - but Felicity didn't, so she simply left to go back to Lorien when the first lightbeams of the sun had kissed her porcelain and remarkeable white face.

Felicity had braided her long, brown hair once more, hating her own strands sometimes so much, that she played and fiddled with the thought of cutting it - but she knew, if she'd do it, she'd miss it.

A small smile danced onto her lips when she thought back to the time, when Arwen brushed and always beautifully decorated her long mane, but as soon as she thought back in time, her expression changed, and the angles of her lips fell into a thin line once again, causing her to bite her lower one.

Quickly, she shook the thoughts away - today, she would go on an unexpected journey, and she would not let her mind destroy the happiness and adrenaline she felt for the upcoming adventure.

Felicity decided to put on her travel clothes - whose were a usual white and long-sleeved blouse that showed a little bit of her cleavache, which she underpainted with her green corset, putting her two front-airbags into position.

It would be so uncomfortable, if they'd just hang loosely around because she sadly had the right amount as well, that others always were jealous of.

To undermine that, she put on her black leather trousers, that fitted her perfectly, where she had a little brown thing, made out of the same material as her legwear, for one safety knife. The following event was as she put on her shin-high black boots as well, slowly and rightfully tie the laces in the true positions.

At the end, she put on her black leather jacket, that went up over her bottom. It would keep her warm when they wandered across the Misty Mountains.

Gandalf had told her secretly the day before, that they were going to leave Imladris today at sunset, knowing that Saruman, the white Wizard had called and reached out for a meeting.

It would have been way better for her to attend it, yet Mithrandir spared her of the boredom and annoyance he had always get to get through.

"Mae govannen, mellon Lindir le. Isto o ennas thent bain vi aen ú-'alad?", (Good morning, dear Lindir! Why such a distraught look on your face?) she greeted him, when her face fell onto his expression. "Are you fine, dear friend?"

He sighed, when Elrond had attendem them as well, seemingly Lindir had waited for his Lord to arrive so he could show him something.

Poor Elves.

"Anann edregol vi chen, si nín nîn orchad nîn u-dolen.", (The kitchen's under enormous strain, we are almost out of wine.) Lindir complained to his Lord, yet Elrond himself only listened carefully, as Felicity walked aside them in silence. "Manen pennen le achen, govannen neth ammen?" (How long do you think they will stay with us?)

"Sin ennas iâr uireb.", he answered.

The young woman couldn't help but laugh at the scenery that found itself into her brain, that would never, ever be erased ever again. She was laughing, and kind of disturbed.

Did they even have something called.. emberassement? They did not- it seems.

Felicity shared a glance with Elrond, as he tried to swallow his growing annoyance away - when he turned around with an upset glare towards her.

"Im vi ú-'erir gwannad, iôn nîn.", (I hope you know what you got yourself into.) he said, causing her to shake her head in disapproval of his doubt.

"I did.", she answered, when she watched the two Elves turn away, leaving her to stand there by herself in thoughts, while they simply fled from the sight.

She counted them - there were only twelve Dwarves, no Thorin with them.

With a humm she turned away, shaking her head to get the Dwarven King out of her mind as she decided to walk towards her beloved, black stallion.

"Hello, Môr.", she whispered softly, when she reached the stalls of the Horses, her black friend in the middle of them. "Did you miss me? I certainly will miss you."

She opened his box, a rogue, black stallion snorting of his nostrils, the heat of his body kissing Felicitys hands, as she tenderly stroked over his long face. She loved him dearly, he was her best friend - and he would always find his way to her, as she did to him.

They were bonded until the end of their line.

"Look, I got you a present.", she gently said, as she lifted a big, green carrot from behind her back, as she held it out to him. Otherwise, he was a very stubborn horse, no one else was able to touch him, ride him or care for him - he only let the young woman do it.

When he ate the carrot, once more she swiftly stroked over his long head, softly looking at him. "Do you like it? Of course you do.", she said, and let out a soft chuckle, as he snorted, mildly and utterly carefully tapped her with his nose, pushing her as a sign that he wanted to be cuddled.

With a tender chuckle, she leaned her head against his long, furrowed nose as she started to stroke his cheeks, simply enjoying the feeling of safety she had with her horse. "I'm going to leave for an unknown time, Melme." (Love.), she softly explained towards her dearest friend, as he huffed and weighed in response, not really happy about her decision. "Na vedui na nîn... Pan natha lin, gennin vi hiril anuir." (Do not worry about me.. When the time has come, we will see each other again.)

As the young woman shared her closeness with her horse, a certain Dwarf appeared behind her, making her simply sense his presence once again - which wondered each of them. She never cared about people coming in on her when she said her goodbyes to her friend but somehow.. she was glad Thorin had come.

"Once more, are you disturbing me in a very intimately position, King Dwarf.", she said honest, only to know that he frowns, as he wanted to apologize, but then he heard her chuckle - her beautiful and tender voice ringing like music in his ears, making his cheeks redden a bit.

Red cheeks?

Since when did Thorin feel emberassed in front of a female? And a human female as well?

We all knew the answer.. except him - because she acted like a ruler would do as well.

"Fate seems to be rather good on me, seeing one of my companions happy."

He didn't know why he said that, but he didn't mind for once more - because she turned away from her Horse to face him, such a mellow smile curling onto her fully, pink lips, making him wonder what they would taste like.

No he did not.

But he did in fact want to know.

"Each time, you and I have a talk, you earn my respect more and more, Oakenshield.", she answered truthfully, he was making her feel welcomed into his company, so it was only rightful to him, that she was kind. "May I help you this time? Or do you want to interrogate me once more before we leave as a group?"

Thorin didn't know what to say. He did in fact simply pass by the stables when he saw the beautiful woman being kind to a creature of usage, and he couldn't bring himself to simply turn away from the delightful Princess.

"Coincidence, actually.", he returned, causing Felicity to raise her eyebrows in curiousity. "I am impressed, the Horse is fully yours. How does happen such a magical bond between a woman and her stallion?"

Felicity signaled with a swift hand-motion for him to join her, making him uncomfortable at first - but as soon as he was underneath her hazel-brown eyes, his body started to relax as he flashed her a small smile.

Long away, were the days that Thorin, son of Thrain had smiled honestly - genuine.

Felicity brought something out of him, he thought of it as long lost.

Happiness.

"He was the weakest in his group when they found them outside the borders of Imladris.", she started to explain, while going onto her knees, being the same hight as the Dwarf aside her now - to his amazement Môr did the same, simply laid himself into the dried grass beneath him as she stroked him for his comfortability.

"Lord Elrond brought them back, knowing that Orcs were near where they only waited for the sun to set and let the dark arise. When they were able to freely walk once more onto the fields of Rivendell's borders.. they were attacked. Elrond knew that those vile creatures wanted to eat them so he saved them."

Môr scoffed at the sound of his history, when his blue-bright eyes met Thorin's ones. Felicity smiled as she watched her Stallion allow the King under the mountain to touch him.

"Filly's are like us, when we are children.. There is always one black sheep.. And at those time, it was Môr. He started to become stronger with every week and every month that passed by. Until I was old enough to even enter the stables, I always admired him from afar, the strength this Horse held in his own mind, they way he handled himself - beside being a longer.", she softly told furthermore, as she watched Thorin stroke her Horse.

Something, that wasn't common.

The King under the mountain had to admit.. he liked listening to her - but the Story reminded him of someone.. Someone he knew very good.

"I was in the stables, as Lord Elrond allowed me to choose a loyal friend of my own.. So I straight went towards him.. At first, we were unsure of each other but when I held out my hand for him, at the risk of either getting his bond or getting bitten my fingers off-", she chuckled, not even realizing that Thorin had stopped giving his attention towards the Horse and was instead excited to hear her story, she smiled into herself at the tought of her tellings.

"Something bad happened.. We were ambushed by thieves, that wanted to steal every little thing they could get.. So they a few of them went into the stables, to their misery, I was here with Môr.. He saved me, as much as I saved him. And to this day - we were unseperateable. I owe him my life, just as much as he owes me his."

Felicity didn't know where the sudden familiarity feeling came from - but she was utterly happy that Thorin listened to her.. It was so long were she really had told anybody that much.

"You impress me day by day.", he answered, causing her to glance with a adventourus sparkle in her brown eyes into his bright-blue ones as she chuckled. "And we met each other yesterday."

Felicity watched in a passionate, yet respectul look, as once more stroked the back of his face tenderly and turning to leave.

"I am grateful for the kindness I recieved from you, and your majestically friend here.", he thanked her, as he earned a gentle nod from her and watched him leave.

Something about Thorin, the King under the Mountain made her heart fluster, as did her appearance and behaviour leave an impact onto him as well.

As Felicity stayed for another hour by her friend, enjoying his calming ambition and heartbeat, as she sat down into his stall aside him, with him circling protectively his body around her.

Thorin on the other hand.. He was on confused, his own mind thrown into puzzled pieces he couldn't quite finish at the thought of the beautiful stranger he admittedly started to like, as a friend - a friend of his company.

The sun had already started to set into it's own slumber as another day had passed by with the Dwarves appearance in Imladris.

Felicity had been confused by the talks, the meekly ones they simply were able to share. It has been, as if she was speaking to a friend of long time, that she could trust him with anything - and yet.. She was unsure about him, something mysterious about him made her heart gleam in curiousity, and her mind spinning in suspiciousness.

Little did she know, that he felt the same about her as well.

The young woman walked onto the balcony, lurking behind one of the beautiful, decorated stone-columns of Imladris. Her eyes glancing at the children-like creature in front of her, assuming and knowing that it was the halfing, that had accompanied the Dwarves onto their big journey.

"Good evening, little friend.", she greeted him, when she walked out of the shadow behind them, showing herself to the little Hobbit. "May I join you and your admiring glances of my home?"

Bilbo turned around, his cheeks slightly reddend from her sudden appearance.

He was sure that there was much more to her, than she let on.. and he wouldn't judge her - no matter what..

The Hobbit had a fling for those things, secrets that were held by friends never left his mouth.

"Lady Fel!", he smiled, and nodded towards her. "I would love for you to join me."

Felicity let out a soft chuckle and leaned herself onto the stoned railing, the cold of the biological material kissing her lower arms as she watched with her friend over to the beauty of Imladris.

"You seem uneasy.", she stated, slight concern filled her eyes as she watched the expression of the Halfing turn into a caught one, as he nodded. "Why?"

"To be honest.. I doubt myself.", he confessed, causing the young woman to raise her eyebrows, as she listened carefully. "Not that I am the only one that doubts me.. Thorin -.. I feel as if he does not want me to be part of his company.."

Felicity narrowed her eyebrows.

"I do not get the feeling he wants me to be part, as much he favours you more.."

The brunette Princess shook her head.

"You have no reason to think low of yourself.", she said tenderly at him, when she started to face the little Halfling, who looked upset back at her. "Do you think you are no more worth in a fight than his Dwarves?"

Bilbo seemed to think, when he shrugged. "I do.", he said simply, causing Felicity to put one hand onto his shoulder, squeezing it reassuringly.

"I do not."

The uneasy Halfling flashed her an confused look. "How come? I'm supposed to be the burglar.. I can not even wield a sword, let alone protect myself.", he sighed and looked back over the railing, the beaty of Imladris embracing him and calming Bilbo down.

Felicity sighed and shook her head. "There is always more than meets the eye, Master Baggins. Thorin might be doubt you.. but you should never loose faith in yourself and who you are.", she said, feeling her heart break at her own words.

Her brother used to tell her that the night he had left her alone, the day she has decided to close herself away from him.

Bilbo on the other hand.. he thought it was an elegant quote, coming from one of the most wonderful and graceful human ever.

He admired Felicity deeply for her reassurance and kindness towards him.. and the way she pulled him our from his own dark thoughts, made him calm again.

"Very wise words, Fel..", he hummed, as he turned his head to the beautiful Princess, yet watching his smile fade as he saw her sad expression. "I see that something is bothering you as well.."

The brunette woman turned her gaze away from the orang setting horizon, the sun stroke gleaming at her, and making her lighter and look like an angel.

Bilbo has never seen something more coincidental - and yet.. he was proven wrong any time since his unexpected journey started.

Fel inhaled the warmth of the sun as if it was her only belonging, her only life balance and shook her head. "I'm just gonna miss this..", she lied, earning a nod from Bilbo, who wasn't sure if he should trust her words anyways - as her expression didn't change at all.

"The sun?", he asked dumbfounded, earning an amused snicker from her and making him go red in emberassment.

"The beauty, the calmness..", she explained, earning a look from Bilbo. Now he understood.

"I see.. I have never been to a more beautiful place.", he sighed and remembered Elrond's words. "Lord Elrond allowed me to stay.. If I do not want to continue."

Fel flashed him a look, her eyebrows raised. "And?", she asked. "What is your choice?"

Bilbo sighed. "Thorin would not have minded my loss at all.. because he gained you - a better one.", he told her, making the brunette woman furrow her brows in disapproval. "- but.. I'm not sure.."

He looked up at her. "What do you think?", he questioned nervously, causing her to brain to start working on a wise solutions.

"I think that you should do what you want.. and not Thorin.", she said. "And besides... there are way more beuatiful places out there than Rivendell.. I would try the adventure."

"I would be lost.."

"Not when I am by your side, Master Baggins.", she answered tenderly and earned a thankful look from Bilbo, unbeknownst to them that Elrond watched them.

He knew that she would be a great Queen sometime - or at least a wonderful person in general.

Elrond needed to accept that she was the happiness that this group needed, the calm and thoughtful part that didn't crash with her head through the walls.

With a sigh he turned away, walking into the called Court of the five. He had to get Gandalf.

Thorin was walking to the two freshlings, his blue eyes gleaming up the beautiful Princess that flashed an honest and genuine smile at the Halfling, making his heart flutter at the sight.

Felicity was indeed one of the most beautiful creatures to ever roam Middle-Earth..

"Gandalf is saving us some time, we're leaving as the new day starts at dawn.", he informed them with his deep and gruff voice, earning a nod from Bilbo, as Fel just remained silent and didn't answer anything.

Yes, she liked the Dwarf, but she wasn't a fan of bullies either, and she knew that Thorin was being poisonious towards the poor Hobbit that wasn't even ready for this journey.

"As you wish.", she said and turned away again, watching as the most beautiful time of the entire day started - the star filled sky, the sparkling of the milkstreet and the graceful shooting star quickly passing by. She had Thorin already forgotten once more, so she had gathered her attention back to Bilbo.

"Did you see that?", she asked the uneasy Hobbit with such a joy and happiness, he nodded. He did indeed. "When you see a shooting star, you are granted a wish."

"Are you really believing in such things, Fel?", Oakenshield asked from behind them, causing Bilbo once more to close his mouth and not say a word out of uncomfort. Oh no.. "Dreams are for newbies."

Fel scoffed, shaking her head at him. "Giving up is for newbies.", she returned, looking hims straight in the eyes with no intention to back off.

"I dreamed once, and it was all a disappointment."

Bilbo swallowed, yet seemed to be impressed by the calmness Felicity had achieved to the otherwise to prude King under the Mountain.

"Oh Thorin..", she sighed, before shaking her head in empathy at him. "Uin tithen, mae govannen dan nîn." (Sometimes, we fear what we do not know.)

The two different races looked at her, unsure what to answer to the words she just spoke in Sindarin - they didn't even know what she said.

"What did you say?", Bilbo asked, as Fel just smiled amd shook her head.

"I suggest you get ready, Master Baggins.", she mysteriously answered and turned away. She would tell them when the time has come. "I will visit my mothers grave one last time before we leave."

And with that, the two men watched her simply walk off in awe - Bilbo being confused as ever, where Thorin however wasn't sure what to think anymore.

She had something onto her, something he wanted to discover somehow, it was.. as if he had found the one thing in his life he couldn't live without.

Felicity.
