Seungcheol arrived at the cemetery, parked his car and got down once he recognized the figure sitting near one of the graves.

He also recognized the grave. The same grave he'd seen Jeonghan sit at the last time he was here. His mother's resting place.

Seungcheol walked quietly to not alarm him but Jeonghan could feel someone's presence and somehow, he just knew it was Seungcheol.

"What are you doing here?" Jeonghan asked, sounding exasperated as he turned to face Seungcheol.

Seungcheol paused in his tracks, standing straight. "I came here to apologize." He breathed out, his hands in his pockets as his arms flapped.

Jeonghan glanced at him before turning back to the grave in front of him, a guilty sigh leaving his mouth. "You don't have to do that. I wasn't thinking straight yesterday, I'm sorry."

Seungcheol walked closer to Jeonghan, taking a seat beside him. "I know how you feel about being the Justice Killer, I know what it means to you but Jeonghan, someday you're going to have to stop."

Seungcheol's arm smoothly went around Jeonghan's shoulder, pulling him in closer. "I know you don't trust the justice system but you can trust me, okay? I'll put all those rapists in jail, you just need to tell me who they are."

Jeonghan smiled a bit before letting out a scoff. "Seungcheol, when you're doing all that, arresting all the rapists, I hope you'll also put your boss in jail too."

Seungcheol's face scrunched as he faced Jeonghan, "What are you talking about?"

Jeonghan gulped, still fiddling with his jeans. "Your boss, the Chief of Police, is one of them. I confirmed it today."

His tone was so plain, so nonchalant like he hadn't just told Seungcheol that the man he trusted with his life, a man he looked up to was just like the others.

"So unless you're going to be able to put him in jail along with everyone else, you can forget about it Seungcheol. I'm not stopping."

Jeonghan stood up, dusting off his jeans as Seungcheol's hand fell off his shoulder as he stood. Seungcheol rubbed his face in frustration before standing up, following Jeonghan.

"Jeonghan, you're not understanding me. If you do not stop, I will have to catch you, so why don't you just leave it all to me, just trust me!" His voice started to rise as he saw Jeonghan continue to walk off with no stopping.

Jeonghan eventually stopped walking and turned around to look at Seungcheol. "Then catch me, who's stopping you?" Jeonghan said before turning around again.

Seungcheol's hand went through his hair as he closed his eyes, attempting to stay calm. "Jeonghan, I don't like us fighting. Please, can you just listen to what I have to say?" He begged, sounding the most desperate he'd ever been.

His words made Jeonghan stop walking again and the annoyed expression on his face to morph into a sad one. He also didn't like them fighting but the past two days had shown him that they had two different interests and they would never get along.

Jeonghan was the criminal and Seungcheol was the detective. It would never work.

"I'm sorry Seungcheol, unless you come up with a good plan, something that can convince me to stop, I'm not stopping and you can catch me if you so desperately need to."

His words were like a gunshot to Seungcheol's heart and seeing him say that and proceed to walk away, disappearing from Seungcheol's line of sight hurt even more.

Seungcheol aggressively ran his fingers through his hair, not knowing what to do. How was he going to solve this case and also still have Jeonghan beside him?

That was all he wished for. Why did everything in his life have to be so complicated?

Joshua took a sip of his coffee while he read through some of his files and the information he had written down.

Overall, the names Park Otaek and Park Wonbin were reoccurring a lot in most of the interviews and Joshua had decided to make some reasonable assumptions.

He had gone on a deep dive into the two and had also asked Jihoon to do a background check on the two of them.

They were too important to this case for Joshua to just brush them aside, even if Park Otaek was no longer alive.

He hadn't found any connection with the previous victims to Wonbin but he figured they most likely all knew each other. They did have a big friend group.

Joshua took another sip, awaiting the results from the background check as he sat at his table. About a minute later, the door to the now empty café opened and in came Seokmin.

Joshua's eyes narrowed to the figure and once he spotted Seokmin, his drink hooked in his throat at the unexpected appearance and he almost coughed out his whole body.

"Joshua, are you okay?" Seokmin asked, going closer to Joshua. His hand placed on Joshua's shoulder and the touch felt like a zap of electricity going through his skin.

He wasn't supposed to be feeling like this. Seokmin was a client. Nothing more.

"I'm fine." Joshua coughed, putting the drink down and Seokmin finally let go, taking the seat across Joshua's.

They sat in silence for a few seconds before Seokmin spoke up, "Do you remember that night in the bar?"

Joshua gulped as he processed the question, reaching for his cup to take another sip. "We've had lots of nights in the bar." He awkwardly joked, trying to deflect the question.

Seokmin smiled but his smile quickly vanished, replaced by a serious expression. "No, I mean, the night that I-"

Joshua's phone dinged and he immediately closed his eyes, thanking whoever had made that happen. The message flashed at the top of the screen and he tapped on it seeing the results sent by Jihoon.

"I'm afraid I have to go Seokmin, but it was nice catching up with you, let's do this again sometime, okay?" He rambled as he packed up his files, eager to leave and avoid this conversation.

He didn't know why it was so hard to just face it. To just say, yeah I remember but we have to keep this relationship strictly business.

Maybe it was so hard because deep down, in his heart that he'd locked down because he was afraid of rejection, he didn't want the relationship to be strictly business.

Maybe, he wanted more.

Wonwoo opened the car door for Mingyu to go in and with a little help, he managed to get into the backseat, immediately laying down for comfort.

Wonwoo entered the drivers seat, closing the door and putting on his seatbelt. "You're going home, right?" Wonwoo asked but the concern in his tone overpowered the curiosity.

"Do you not want me to go home?" Mingyu retorted, teasingly and Wonwoo rolled his eyes, jamming the keys into the keyhole.

"I'm just worried, is there anyone there that can take care of you? Do you live alone or...?" He found himself having many concerns and worries about Mingyu and his healing process.

Would he really be able to take care of himself when he could barely walk?

Mingyu smiled, finding Wonwoo adorable. The regular Wonwoo didn't care about anyone or anything, not even himself and he usually made that clear but ever since they started this case and got closer and found Hyein, Wonwoo had changed.

And Mingyu loved the new him.

"I could stay with you... if you want me to?" Mingyu shrugged with a regular expression even though he felt his insides burning with excitement as he asked.

Wonwoo swallowed, trying to stomach what Mingyu had just proposed. He wanted to stay with him? Why?

Wonwoo wasn't even a tidy person and he barely knew how to take care of himself. Usually, he would say no. To any other person, he would have said no but today, he found himself uttering,

"Yes... I want you to."
