Alec came back in to talk to me about his departure as he was about to step in the room Magnus tore a pillow with it's feathers flying around the whole room.

I laughed looking at the feathers flying everywhere and my eyes fell onto Alec standing at the door as he was also watching the feathers with a smile on his face

Our eyes met as we starred at each other with a smile as Magnus walked out of the room

"I didn't knew a show was being put up here. I would've comed earlier " he said as he sat infront of me on the bed as I chuckled

"Well i'm tired enough to not use my powers and move around so he just decided to entertain me by all this" admiring all the feathers falling down I blew a few towards Alec's face as he moved back and I laughed seeing him move them away from him

Seeing him push them away from him as I enjoyed flying them in the air as he admired me and I snapped my fingers getting some out of his hair

I reached for the glass beside the bed to drink some water that Magnus left me as Alec kept staring at me and smiling

"What's that?" He asked as I drank water

"Some witch potion or something to help me heal faster"

"That looks like water to me" he said as I laughed

"Well you figured out the riddle" I said smiling as he smirked

"So you plan on troubling me then" raising his eyebrows at me he said as I laughed

"Well, I can't roam around much right now so just thought of troubling some lightwood people roaming around" I smiled as he smirked and we had a little fist fight as we both laughed and he came close to get the feathers out of my hair and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear

He smiled at me as now I was getting tired while talking and starting doozing off because of my exhuastion as I was about to fell off and he grabbed my head.

"Easy there" he smiled as he held me and placed my head on the pillow tucking me in and walked out of the room smiling.

I woke up the next morning feeling good and went to the institute. I went in my room changed and walked in the kitchen.

I saw waffles and picked up a plate

"Good morning" Alec says as he was sitting in a corner with his plate

"Morning" I said stretching and yawning

"What's that" he asked as I saw my lifted t-shirt and the scar being visible

"It's nothing" I say pulling down my t-shirt and grabbing a plate sitting beside him

"I'm sorry for yesterday, I may have over-reacted a bit. I just want you to know that I'm sorry for pushing you away" I say while eating

"It's not entirely your fault, I was pushing you too. I'm sorry for acting that way and thanks for coming back to the institute. I feel nice" he smiles

"So truce" I say extending my hand forward as he laughs and shakes my hand "truce it is".

I walk back to my room and go on to train with Clary today as I taught her a few moves while we talked about Luke and other things.

"So are you sure you're ready for going on this demon hunting. You don't look like you're ready much" she asked me as we walked to the lobby

"I'm always ready for fighting. Besides everyone has their bad days I did too. But i'm perfectly fine now" I smile as we walked past the staff

Going back to my room I start rummaging through my closet for a dress. I changed and walked out to the lobby and saw Alec and Jace by the screen watching over something

"What're you looking at boys?" I said as I stood next to them

"We've got some demon trouble around in the Pandemonium" Jace said as he turned to look up from the monitor to me, eyeing me from up to down and smirking

"Looking hot" He says as I smile and I wink

"You look gorgeous" Alec says as he stares at me

"Thank you Alec" I say as I stand beside him watching the tape as the demons are talking with some people

We watch the screen and see demons near Pandemonium.

"Let's go that's our cue" Jace says as I nod and we all walk to the weaponry to get our weapons

Alec and I talk a little about the city and the mission as we reach the club and get separated for finding the demons

Izzy walks away to a table and gets on top of it starts dancing as Clary takes her place near the bouncer area

"Keep your eyes and ears open for demons they can be anywhere" Jace says as I and Alec nod and he walks away

"All the best " Alec says as I nod smiling and he walks over to the bar

I go onto the dance floor and start dancing as my favourite track comes up, I sway my hips around to the music, my hair swinging perfectly and my dress coming into notice.

I get lost in dancing and as the music changes so does my moves. I see Alec watching me from the bar as two demons approach me, I move backstage for them to follow and start dancing with them, slowly grabbing my blade and stab one in the chest as he dies also killing the other one.

I saw Alec a little un-comfortable as a girl flirts with him I walk over to him and sit beside those two. I watch her closely and it seems that she's a demon trying to seduce him. While she was talking I slightly snapped my fingers causing a drink to spill on her dress as she backs away from him

"Oh god, my dress is so spoiled. Can you please pass me the tissues" she says showing her puppy eyes to Alec as she leans towards him as I roll my eyes

"Here" I say handing her the tissues and smiling as she glares at me for ruining her moment

"Hi, I hope you didn't had to wait for long" I said as I placed my hand on Alec's shoulder

"Who the hell are you? We were in the middle of a conversation" she snapped at me

"I'm his girlfriend and you think I care darling " I said smiling at Alec as he smiles back

"I don't think so, this man was talking to me and he was clearly interested in me" she says extending her hand forward towards him as Alec holds my hand

"It's okay I didn't wait for long" he said as I leaned in

"Just play along don't worry. Watch her eyes" I whisper in his ears as he shivers under the closeness a little

"I didn't mind waiting for you. I like to see you walk up to me" Alec says looking over to me as he lightly places a kiss on my cheek and sees the girl from the corner of his eyes as her eyes glowed blue and my ears turned red after this sudden improvisation

We starred at each other as we got lost in the moment and got close as he said "thank you for saving me from her" he said as I smiled pulling away my hand from his lap

"Don't thank me just now , she's the main one, gather everyone around and follow me" I say as I see her walk away as Alec goes to get everyone while I try to control the feelings I had for him

"How do you know she's the one?" Jace asks

"Got some of her minions talking and got to know about the leader." I said as we all met outside the club and start following her to see where she goes as she turns around the corner we come across an old abandoned lair.

We walk inside drawing out our weapons and being on our guard for any demons as we all separated and I spotted her going somewhere and followed her.

"Guys I saw where she went here" The imposter shouted grabbing everyone's attention as they all come rushing to her

"Where?" Jace asks as she smiles

"In here, I know it's a small passage but that's where she went" she says pointing down to a basement who's entrance was through a small door

"We'll have to jump down, the door is narrow but the basement is quite wide in area. Take a look" she says as both Jace and Alec look at the basement and nod to each other and start getting ready to jump down.

Jace goes in first, followed by Clary, then Izzy it was my turn but I insisted on Alec going first. He got down and extended his hand forward to help her while she would jump.

"Don't worry just trust me and jump" he says as the imposter nodded smiling and jumped in closing the door behind her as Alec caught her in his arms.

"You okay?" He asks as he holds her by her waist and she looks at him and holds his hand which is on her waist "yeah"

Everyone starts looking around the basement for demons as the imposter looses her balance and falls to the ground

"Veronica!!" Alec rushes to her side and grabs her before falling down as she looks back at him smiling

"Thank you Alec. You're a true saviour." She says as he gets her back up as the others rush to her side questioning her and are suddenly surrounded by demons in the basement

"By the angel, what the hell" Jace scowls seeing so many demons in front of them "everyone don't let your guard down, and Veronica you rest for a while. Looks like you're tired" Jace says as Alec nods looking at her

Alec takes her hand and helps her stand at a distance from the others protecting her from the demons "Now don't move and leave my side until I say" Alec says looking back at the demons as she leans in

"I wouldn't move away from you unless you say so yourself also" The imposter says as she places a hand on Alec's chest as he looks down and then back at her

"What are you doing?" He raised his eyebrows at the imposter

"What you said me to, not moving and leaving your side until you say right?" She says as she moves her hand from his chest to his shoulder as he pushes her hand away

"I knew there was something wrong the moment I saw you. Who're you" Alec says drawing his bow at the demon as she smiles

"Alec what're you doing why are you pointing your arrow at Veronica?" Isabelle asked looking behind as everyone saw it. Jace came and got his arrow down

"Have you gone mad, she's Veronica. What are you doing?" He asks looking at him

"She is not Veronica, she is someone else, Veronica won't find ways to touch me or flirt without a reason" he says raising his eyebrows at her

"Because she is not Veronica " I shout walking into the basement as everyone turns to look at me

"How are there are two of you. How do we know who's the real Veronica and who's not?" Clary questions as everyone looks at both of us and maintain there distance from the both of us

"I knew at least one of you would recognize her, Thank you Alec." I say as I throw my dagger at her and she runs away

"I never thought you would be this good and come back so fast. Impressive" the demon says as she rushes back to take her place with the rest of the demons transforming into her previous form.

"You really thought you could get to me that easily, well i'm sorry but you can't" I got out my seraph blade as the others also started killing the demons while I fought the one in front of me.

"Well what can I say I couldn't let you have him all alone" she transformed into her real form as she points towards Alec as he looks at her in shock

She ran to me I flipped my blade, and run to her and as she was about to reach near me I went sliding through the floor and through her legs standing back up and stabbing her in the back before she could turn.

"See you in hell" I say as she growls and falls to the ground. As she vanishes more demons come my way as I focus on my magic and let the energy flow inside of me as I open my eyes and start releasing the heat waves from my palm directing it towards the demons rushing to me as they burn away from the heat of the fire.

"That was so cool" Isabelle says as she comes to my side and hugged me as I exhale and hug her back

"I'm glad you guy are okay" I say pulling back from the hug as I hug Clary afterwards

"But when did all this happen?" Alec asked

"When we got separated, I saw her going and followed her and got into a fight but she slipped away hurting me. As I got up I heard Jace's voice and rushed here as soon as possible" I said smiling at them

"We're glad you're okay" Jace said as he hugged me and I smiled and we all walked back to the institute. We called it a night and went to our rooms, I changed into something comfortable and was about to heal my wound as I heard a knock on my door.

"Need some help?" Alec asked leaning against my door watching me as I smiled

"I would like that thanks" I said as he came in I told him to hold the collar of my top and pull it down a little as I healed my wound.

"Thanks" I said as he let go of it and nodded

"I should be the one thanking you for today, if it was not you then we would have got trapped in there, thinking that demon was you. So I believe now I can thank you" he says as I smile

"Well I should thank you. You were the one out of everyone to find out that it wasn't me so I guess I should thank you for at least recognizing the real me. Besides you're good at acting though" I say lightening up the moment as he laughed a little

"I didn't knew much I just followed your lead. but you do know how to act " he claimed as I keep my stele and blade back

"I have had my practice to act" I say turning around as he's standing in front of me and we both look at each other as our gaze slowly lowers to each other's face as he leans in

"It's-its getting late, We should get some sleep" I said moving away as I see him and the dissapointment in his eyes as if he actually wanted to kiss me.

" I shouldn't have done that" he thought to himself as he walks away

"Yeah, we should call it a night. Good night Veronica take care" he says as I feel a little guilty for what happened as he starts walking out of the room

"Alec?" I call him out

"Yes?" He turns around

"Thank you for tonight. Good night Alec" I say

"Hmm, good night Veronica" he says and quickly walks away as I close the door as I feel my heart beating faster and go to sleep.
