On this day before my big dance, I woke up filled with excitement and hope for tomorrow. Eeek! I can't wait! I get out of bed and make some breakfast to start the morning right. Eggs, bacon, and hash browns, yummy.
As I eat, I can't help but imagine what it will be like to step out on stage and dance my heart out in front of everyone. The anticipation almost feels like too much to bear, but I know I can do this. I just have to have faith..

After finishing her breakfast, she decides to try and shake her nerves by going out to town. She gets changed and leaves the house, going for a walk around town to take her mind off the performance, She walks around while taking in the sights and sounds of the area, trying to take deep breaths and settle her nerves. On the outside, she appears carefree and calm, but inside, there is still that lingering feeling of uncertainty and anxiety about the next day's performance.

That was a lie, she most definitely did not look calm, as she was prancing around town all giddy and upbeat, catching the attention and smiles of others, in which she returned brightly.
As her heels clicked as she walked happily, her then deciding to go see one of her good friends.

She walked through the cafe door with the ring of a bell, as she got greeted by her friend behind the counter. It was a tall man, with dark hair pulled into a ponytail, with freckles dawned on his nose and cheeks, he had a friendly appearance and smile spread on his face. "Hey! Y/n! Fancy seeing you here" he chuckled looking up from the counter, she chuckled as well saying
"Says you mr John Lauren's, you're wealthy and you're still working" she says with a joking smirk before he replied, "I'm bored okay," she gave him a questioning look as he continued "see now I'm not bored, and I get money" he says

As he goes to make a drink but before he starts he asks "your favourite?" She smiled and nodded.
After them talking for awhile she decided to go back to town, so they said their goodbyes and she left.

The day went by normal, walking around, food, random thoughts, anxiety, yk the normal.

She had been walking down the street when thump!
She bumped into someone, looking up it was the Schuyler sisters, the Schuyler sisters?!

I hadn't send them in forever! The one in the teal, Eliza, spoke "oh gosh I'm so sorry" and offered a hand up, before realizing. "Oh my god! Y/n!" Grabbed my hand and pulled me up into a hug, the other Schuyler's joined as well.

She pulled away with a smile, then the one with a peach coloured dress spoke Angelica, "I haven't seen you in forever! What happened?" She gave me a small hug and smiled. "I had to take care of my mom and focus, I got so overwhelmed-" I was then engulfed in a hug, by all three sisters, "don't worry! We understand" Eliza spoke with an understanding smile.

Peggy turned to her sisters with a worried face "it was nice running into you but daddy said not to go downtown!" Angelica and Eliza turned to their sister, as Eliza was about to speak I had said "I'm sure your dad would be quite fine, and pleased to know they have ran into their old friend Peggy" I looked over at her pouting face before Angelica spoke.

"Yeah what she said, and cmon I know this place we can go!" She grabbed my hand and so we all went.
That day I spent catching up and hanging out with the sisters, in the mix of it they had convinced me to get a dress, a gorgeous one.

silk forest green dress, with white linings and lace. A beautiful corset goes with it, with sewn in white flower designs, puffy sleeves that cut into lace.
They also bought me a green mask.
(A/n, when I describe outfits it's usually in the picture above the chapter!)

They said it's "just in case" I needed or wanted to go to a ball. The rest of the day they kept giggling about going to the royal high status ball, the one I was preforming at, and they tried to convince me to go, but I brushed it off as being a commoner.

They said I can go if I said I was with them, and they said that I could show up whenever, I just nodded and smiled at them. We continued to hangout for the next couple of hours, before I said I had to go home and finish some things, "let's hangout and talk soon alright?" Eliza said with a smile, she gave me their information so we could send letters, the sisters gave me warm smiles as we group hugged, I was then on my way home.

While at home I practiced, and practiced, getting ready for the big day tomorrow. After practicing and practicing for days on end, finally the day before the performance has arrived... running through my routine a couple of time, making sure everything is perfect. My nerves are going bonkers but I find it kind of nice, something to remember. As I am more fully focused by the sheer anticipation of finally performing in front of everyone!

Everyone

I couldn't focus that night, my mind was everywhere and nowhere at once, I was slightly panicking.
But nonetheless excited, I took deep breathes and thought about the positives,

I'll look amazing

It's been my dream

I'll prove commoners can be just as great

I'll impress

It will be perfect,

I'll be perfect.

My head calmed at the thoughts, before a different one popped to my mind, what if I fall? What if I mess up? If I trip? Fall of stage? No! I shook the thoughts as I ran my hands down my face with a groan, I gotta stop worrying so much. I decided I needed a drink, so I got up to go and get one.

I walked down my stairs to my kitchen and grabbed a glass to fill it with water. I bring I up to my lips and chugged it, afterwards I wiped the water dripping down my chin. As I put my cup in the sink I splash water on my face, before slowly walking back up my staircase.

I looked at my bed and decided nope, I walked down the hall and went to my practice room, some more couldn't hurt..

After practicing for hours I went back to my room and changed into my nightgown, as soon as I got into bed I was out like a light, hoping I don't sleep in.
