001. (YOUNG SUMMER)
CHAPTER ONE…

━━━━ just a normal day… 

         It started out like any other day…

        Y/N L/N sat on top of the counter in the back room of Jorge’s Diner, filling up the sugar cans, making sure that each one was evened out equally. Ever since Y/N’s mother passed away, Y/N has been working at the diner to help earn enough money for her, her dad, and her brother. Y/N was so distracted with filling up the sugar cans and listening to the music playing on the jukebox that she didn’t even realize that Jorge was calling her name. Y/N finished off with the last can before sliding it back further on the counter and hopped off, running out to find Jorge, fixing her ponytail and the back of her apron in the process.
       “I’m coming!” She called and grabbed her notepad from off the island and turned towards Jorge, who was standing in the kitchen. “Sorry Jorge, I got distracted.” Y/N replied, but Jorge cut her off.
       “Don’t worry about it mija, can you take those guys orders over there?” Jorge asked, motioning towards two people in a booth.
       "Got it." Y/N saluted him and made her way towards the pair. "Hi, I'm Y/N and I'll be your waiter for today, can I start you guys off with some drinks?" She introduced herself, getting her notepad and pen ready. Once the pair ordered their drinks, Y/N wrote them down. She told them she would be back with their drinks in a bit. 
Once the drinks were ready, Y/N picked up the tray with drinks on them and carried them over to their table, careful not to drop them. Y/N placed them down in front of the pair's table and began to take their order.
       Y/N took their orders and walked back into the kitchen, hanging the order on the line, smiling at Jorge as she walked back out to see Brenda, her best friend, leaning against the island chewing bubble gum as always and reading a book. Y/N poked the back of her ponytail and Brenda turned towards her.
       "Aren't you supposed to be working?" Y/N asked, leaning on her elbow on the table next to Brenda.
Brenda shrugged and turned back to her book, "I'm on break." "Bren, your shift just started." Y/N laughed.
 

   "And? It's finally summer, we have our whole lives to work Y/N" Brenda said, closing her book. Today was the last day of school,  now Y/N could finally relax and hang out with Brenda and go to the beach.
       "Whatever, you just continue slacking off and I'm going to actually earn money." Y/N replied, sarcastically.
       Brenda and Y/N continued to talk until the bell on the door rang, signalling that someone had entered. Y/N turned around and at that moment three guys walked in, and to Y/N’s surprise, it was three people she was shocked to see, Thomas, Minho, and Newt.

Here it is!!!! The first chapter! Sorry for the short introduction but I PROMISE, I will make the second a lot longer I'm so excited to write this fanfic and for you all to read it ❤
