Ashi's POV

"Aww, Did he just ruin your date?" Sia teased, glancing at Jimin.

Both Jimin and Jungkook turned their attention to me, waiting for an answer.

"I would have said no either way.. Not a big deal." I replied casually, trying to brush it off.

"So you are telling me, The one who doesn't miss any chance to flirt. doesn't go out on a date?" Jimin raised a brow, clearly surprised.

I shrugged and nodded. "Dating's not my thing."

"Liar" Sia mumbled

"Shut up! " I shot her a glare.

But Sia wasn't done. "Silencing me won't change the fact that you're still stuck, not willing to let go of the past."

The mention of him once was enough to get the floodgates of memories threatened to open, the very ones I'd been trying so hard to forget.

"Don't..." I managed, my voice sharper than I intended.

Jungkook and Jimin's eyes tossed between me and Sia. Jimin's gaze lingered on me longer, concern flickering in his eyes. Then he turned to Sia and said "Sia you should stop."

"Yeah right." I said looking down at my food again. My plate was as full as I brought it, everyone else was almost done with their food.

The rest of the lunch was in silence as everyone finished their food, until Jungkook's phone buzzed, he checked the caller id, and mumbled under his breath "shibal-"

Jimin glanced at him, " What happened to you now?"

"I forgot to complete an important task. I need to go" he said

Sia stopped him from leaving, turning his attention to herself "I am also done, should i join you?" he nodded his head in agreement as she stood up with her food tray,"See you guys later." with that Jungkook and Sia left the canteen.

Not long after they left Jimin said "You might be going home alone today"

I shook my head "It was just a small matter I know sia won't pull it that long"

"I didn't say that because you guys just had a fight"

"then?"

"It's just the management department has meetings, I don't think either of them is getting free any time soon" I nodded with a "oh"

"Yup, Let's go" we completed our lunch and headed to our floor, While going back to our floor, Jimin asks, "So? I hope you aren't facing any problems with the work I gave earlier."

I shook my head "Unexpectedly the files you gave me all are in english, that's why it isn't as hard as I expected" I said in response; he gave a knowing smile and walked out of the elevator as the doors dinged open.

"Hey Wait!!" I called out as I followed him "You sorted them for me?"

he didn't reply and entered his cabin, "Get back to work Miss Roy!" He closed his cabin door with that, I shrugged still a smile formed on my lips as I reached my table and stared at those files.

{For the ones who didn't get what happened Jimin personally sorted all the files for Ashi, and when she asked if he did that for her, he didn't take the credit}

After hours of working when it was finally the time for the office to end, I packed all my belongings, then called Sia but Jungkook answered the call saying he will drop her later, and she was staying with him. After he hung up I rested my head on the table trying to figure it out.

I looked at my PC and then typed for some cab booking apps on Naver (the most popular search engine in, South Korea) after finding the app, I took out my phone installing Kakao T the cab booking app on it.

As I waited for app to install message from Surely idiot aka Jimin popped up on screen "Told you darling 😏"

It surprised me that I still preferred to confirm what that meant.

I heard a low chuckle from behind my back,I turned only to find Jimin standing right behind my seat.

"Visibly you didn't know" he said as he leaned down on my chair and checked my phone..

"It's still installing means you haven't book anything yet." He said looking at the notification bar on my phone

"Yeah so?"

"Come with me I will drop you home"

"No it's fine i will go... " Without arguing any further Jimin just took my bag and walked out..

"Jimin wait"

"I am your boss here." I rolled my eyes quietly following him with my phone.

He had been holding my bag the whole time in the lift, but just before the lift door was about to open I took it back.

Yena was standing right in front of the door as it opened, I sighed and mumbled "Thank God she didn't see, what would she have thought."

"Like you care about her opinion" said as we walked till his car, he opened the door of the black car after unlocking with keys.

Getting in I messaged Sia, that Jimin was dropping me home. She replied with her usual text "ok take care" adding it on with a sorry for afternoon...

As the car made its way out, the sky seemed dark covered with clouds. "It's going to rain I guess."

" Maybe, would you like to eat anything?" Jimin looked up at the sky then back at me.

I looked at him with a cheesy smile "Are you asking me out for dinner"

"What if I say Yes Cupcake?" The butterflies in my stomach took flight again. It's getting weird...

"Look someone is blushing." He smirked look at me

"I... It's not like that I am not blushing you are just day dreaming" Jimin stared at my face nodding "Ohh really?"

I turned my head to look at the other side out of the window but my stomach rumbled, my cheeks turned even red as I knew Jimin staring at me holding his laugh.

" Let me take you to my favourite restaurant... " I just nodded my head in agreement
