Being betrayed is the worst experience I have ever had
Third POV
---------
Perseus lay unconscious in the bed at the infirmary. Will Solace tended him for three days.
And in three days, demigods are starting to look at him cautiously. Some of them were afraid of him because of his powers--some tolerated him, but they are still looking at him cautiously--only a few still looked at him as a hero and a friend.
William Andrew Solace is one of the few and his boyfriend Nico di Angelo. Will still looked at him as a friend despite Percy hiding his powers. He understood why he had to keep it a secret. He has been observing the demigods, he noticed the change. He felt sorry for Percy.
Nico di Angelo sees Percy as a big brother. Ever since Bianca died he took him as his little brother. Nico couldn't hold the grudge any longer because it may be his bane in the future. He knew he wouldn't become a monster. Would he?

I went to check up on Percy once again. It has been three days. For the past two days, I have been tending him, afraid that he might not wake up. This is his third day in here. Chiron said there might be possibilities that he might not be alive again. I gave out a loud sigh of frustration.
I've realized that half of the camp are looking at Percy cautiously, even Annabeth. The day before, she said that Percy made her a promise before they came out of the pit. And he broke it. I don't know what type of promise Percy made but I'm pretty sure he didn't break it.
I was about to leave when I heard a groan, a blanket suddenly ruffled.
I looked back to see Percy. Awake. He sat up, his hair is messy.
He yawned for a bit until his eyes looked towards me, "Will!" He said. "Percy you're awake!" I exclaimed.
"Of course I am awake. What time is it though?" He asked.
"It's three, thirty-five, PM," I replied back, "Percy it's been three days since you've passed out."
"What?"

So, technically--it has been three days since the monster attack. And three days of being in the infirmary bed passed out.
Will has been taking care of me together with Nico. Will told me everything: the changed behaviors of the campers, Annabeth getting a little distant from me, and most campers are getting a little cautious of him.
"- Percy... Yesterday, Annabeth told me-" "Us, I mean me, William, and the rest of the Seven." Nico corrected (he came in a few minutes later.) Will gave Nico a stink eye before Nico could just smirk and peck Will's lips, Will blushed for a moment before continuing.
"We, plus the Seven were told by Annabeth that you broke a promise. A promise before you guys got out of the pit. Do you know what she meant by it?"
I thought for a second, then a memory from the pit clicked inside me. It was not one of the best memories I've ever had from there of course.
My body froze from my realization and my tan went into a slight pale. I kinda think Nico noticed me, "Perce, are you alright?" He asked. I gave Nico a nod before he squinted his eyes at me, not believing me.
"Are you sure, Perce? You've just paled for a sec," He said, voice laced with concern.
"Yeah, Neeks. I'm good, just overwhelmed by the current situation right now." I replied. Nico's eyes softened. "Look, Nico, if you're just going to give me pity, I'll be going now. I have to find Annabeth first." I said.
I got out of my bed and walked out, not caring about Will shouting my name for me to get back.
-----
It was almost evening. Walking around camp for fifty minutes straight was exhausting. Annabeth wasn't anywhere. So I had to look for her at her cabin. I walked straight passed the big house. When passing by the meeting room's window, I noticed that everyone was there. All the cabin leaders were there gathering for a meeting, they didn't even call or bothered to find me, so I decided to eavesdrop.
"Chiron, you saw what he did last three days ago right? His existence will be a danger to us. We won't even know that he might even turn against us." A female voice said.
"I saw what I have seen last three days ago, Annabeth," Annabeth... I thought. "I know what I believe in. Perseus isn't a bad child, nor he will turn against us. Your pride is showing up, slowly dear child." Chiron slowly said. I peeked a little more at the window. I saw Annabeth at the other end of the table fuming. "You don't understand what it is to be like betrayed you old darn centaur," Annabeth growled.
Chiron's eyes darkened. He was now glaring at Annabeth. "You might be a daughter of Athena Young Chase, but my knowledge over a thousand years increased and I know a lot more of how it feels to be betrayed child." He darkly said.
Annabeth looked like she was about to explode, and guess what? She did, "Well fuck it, Percy is no longer but a monster in everybody's eyes. Don't you hear what the demigods are currently talking about now Chiron?! They are afraid. Afraid of that monster. He wasn't supposed to be existing now, even! I regret finding him! I should have left him in that darn roman camp! Don't you already see the darkness in his eyes when he froze the rain water that day?!"
I couldn't believe it. Annabeth, my only Wisegirl saw me as a monster...
I couldn't help eavesdropping anymore. I decided to stand up, but as I stood I accidentally stepped on a twig, but I ignored the sound and left. I ran to my cabin, shut the doors, locked it, and the rest of the windows, and lastly, I closed the curtains. I then went to my bed and covered myself with my blue blanket. I took my extra pillow, hugged it and I let all the tears out after.
Betrayal hurts more when the closest ones you loved did the act.
