Alright everyone, a little Authors Note here so I can explain why I hadn't updated in over a month.

1. Finale Exams

-It's over now so I'm good. I passed them btw.

2. I was lazy and procrastinated a lot when it came to updating.

-Not to mention, I had a group project to do. Still haven't finished it yet.

And 3. Schoolwork.

-Currently, I'm a senior in high school soon to graduate this summer. This whole time, I was busy trying to pass my classes, apply for college and stuff like that to where I didn't have time to update. When I DID have time, I was too tired.

So maybe expect no more updates after this until my midwinter break which starts on the 18th of February. That's when I'll have time.

Unless my school wanna be petty and give us packets.

*That last chapter WASN'T fully completed. I was half asleep and might have accidentally published the chapter instead of saving it in drafts. I was gonna remove it, but someone had already read and commented on it...ha..

At least I left off to where it wasn't noticeable.

I guess I'll finish the rest in this chapter then come back again next month. :)

Not taking the scene to much thought, Y/n turned her attention back to finding Naruto and thanks to Danny's sharp sense of smell, he easily pinpointed his tracks.

"You found him? Sniff away." Y/n landed in the floor, safely putting Danny on the ground and let him lead the way.

Danny lead the woman to a secluded forest.

It was really dark out, so those with normal eyesight wouldn't be able to see far in the distance.

Danny stopped and sniffed around before growling, alarming Y/n. Danny usually growls when there's danger nearby and refuses to go further.

Y/n can hear faint voices nearby but she can't see them. Standing still, she concentrates.

'Guess there's no option left.'

"Byakugan!"

Y/n's pupils dilated, her eyes fading in color into a faint (E/c) color, and veins appearing on each side of her eyes.

Using her Kekkei Genkai, her x-ray-like vision is able to expand.

She spots three figures in the distance. Two by a shed and one in the trees. Y/n realizes that the smaller figure was Naruto and beside him, Iruka.

She immediately bolts towards them. The one in the trees has got to be Mizuki. It has to be him!
Y/n had been suspicious of that violet haired bastard since the start.

As she got closer, she could hear their conversation clearly.

"They've been lying to you this whole time, Naruto, since the decree 12 years ago."

'Decree?'

"What decree?" This time, it was Naruto's voice. Iruka yelled at Mizuki to keep quiet but was ignored.

By this time, Mizuki revealed to Naruto that the reason the blonde was neglected by the civilians for all these years was because of the Nine-tailed Fox sealed within him. The monster that killed many innocent people, destroying homes and families, possessed him.

This left Naruto in a state of shock. With him distracted, Mizuki took the chance to eliminate him and threw one of his massive blades at him.

"Die, Naruto!"

Before Naruto were to get hit, Iruka went in front of him making the large blade strike his back instead.

Y/n and Danny finally arrived at the scene. Y/n's eyes going back to normal before the others saw.

"Iruka! Naruto!" Her yells didn't reach them. Naruto sprinted off, carrying the large scroll with him.

"Danny, go after him!" The shiba obeyed and began chasing after Naruto.

Mizuki approaches Iruka, chuckling evilly. "You know, once he makes up his mind, nothing can change it.

He's going to use the scroll to take revenge on the village. You saw that look in his eye, didn't you?

Those are the eyes of a beast." Mizuki grins at him.

Iruka yanks out the giant blade from his back. "No. Naruto isn't like that!" He yelled and threw the blade at Mizuki, who dodged with ease.

"You're a joke. As soon as I eliminate Naruto and get the scroll, I'll be back for you." With that, Mizuki vanished, leaving the brunette.

Iruka groaned in pain. "I won't let you."
He felt something touch his shoulder. A little startled, he quickly turned his attention to see Y/n. He stares at her in shock.

"How did you...?" Y/n simply smiled at him.

"I have an idea."

Naruto hid behind a large tree. He wasn't sure who to trust anyone. However, before he left, he heard a familiar voice. Was that his mom?
If it is, he's definitely gonna be in trouble.

Naruto's mind then began to shift about the Nine-tails.

If Iruka, Mizuki, and the village new about the demon...did his mom know about that too?

She probably did..

"BARK!"

Danny ran to Naruto and licked him. Naruto chuckled, temporarily ignoring his thoughts. "How did you find me?" He asked.

"I had him track your scent." Naruto looked up. It was Y/n staring at him.
Naruto frowned and Y/n kneeled towards him.

"What's wrong?"

"...Did you know?"

"About what?"

"About me being the Nine-tails."

...

Silence.

"Who told you about the Nine-tails?"

She's dodging the question..

"Mizuki-sensei."

Tell me the truth.

"Did you know."

"...I did."

Naruto's grip tighten on the scroll.

"What's the real reason you wanted me?"

After what Mizuki told him, Naruto started to question those around him. Especially the ones he trusted the most. Like his mother.
He just wanted to make sure that it wasn't true..

Y/n's eyes widened in shock. "..what?"

"Did you only want me because of that? That I was a danger to everyone, huh?!"

Y/n's face darkened. What else did Mizuki tell him?

"It's not that I don't trust you, mom..but I just want to make sure. Mizuki-sensei told me everything..so don't lie, please." Naruto looked down, saddened. He wasn't sure who to believe anymore.

Y/n's face soften. She grips Naruto's shoulders. "Don't listen to Mizuki. Yes, I did know about you being the fox spirit..but I didn't tell you because you were young and I didn't want to scare you with that fact. However when we first met, and when I adopted you, I didn't know about it until sometime later when Lord Third told me. When he did, that didn't change my perspective of you. I continued stayed with you as we became a family. Then Danny, Sasuke and Toma joined in."

Y/n pulled Naruto in a hug. "After everything we've been through, you're gonna let that fool Mizuki resin it all? I sure won't. Don't let him get in your head, Naruto. He's nothing but a manipulative liar.

You are Naruto Uzumaki. Konoha's future Hokage and My Son.

I love you, Naruto."

Naruto's eyes streamed waterfalls. He started to cry. Y/n kept him in her embrace. Danny was happy, it even looked like he was smiling.

"Now," Y/n broke from the hug, still face-to-face with Naruto. "How about we help Iruka and beat Mizuki to a pulp, yeah?" She grinned.

Naruto laughed slightly. "Okay."

Finally I'm done.
