A couple days passed. Team 7 finally safely returned Tazuna to his home with his family. They will also be staying for a while until Kakashi is fully back to health..which means the three genins and will be under Y/n's care.

It was a normal sunny day. Y/n was currently with Sakura watching over Tazuna as he and his crew continued on building the bridge.

Sakura yawned. Y/n looked at her. "Bored?" The pinkette responded, "yeah", with a tired tone.

"You both always this lazy?" It was Tazuna's voice. He was carrying iron steel on his shoulders.

The two females looked at the old man in confusion. He then asks about Naruto and Sasuke. Sakura told him that they were training; climbing up trees.

"Too tough for you?" Tazuna mocked. Sakura took no offense and proudly responded.

"No. In fact, I'm the best. Thats why sensei sent me and Y/n-sensei here to guard you." Haruno smirked.

Tazuna stared at her blankly, not taking her seriously. "You're joking." He says then continues on with his work.

Sakura scowled and growled in anger but kept it in. Y/n giggled and patted her head.

"Relax he's just joking." Y/n smiled. Sakura sighed.

"I hope so."

A moment of peaceful silence go by when Sakura began to think to herself. She's been curious about Y/n since the announcement of this mission by Lord Third, and when Y/n had mentioned to be not only Naruto's mother, but ALSO Sasuke's guardian..Aunt specifically since she hears him call the woman that.

Considering she and Y/n were by themselves without the others around, Sakura thought that this would be a great opportunity to get to know her future mother-in-law a little more and form a bond.

Ya know, a girl-to-girl type thing.

"Soo...Y/n-sensei." Sakura started, scooting a little closer to the older woman.

"Yes, Sakura?" Y/n hummed.

"What's it like taking care of both Sasuke and Naruto?"

Y/n stared at her. "Hm?"

"Naruto can be such a pain, right?"

"Not exactly. But usually when he's around Sasuke, then when things get...uhhh...troublesome? But at the end of the day we're a family and they can't do anything about it!" Y/n grinned.

Sakura's mouth formed an 'o' shape as she listens. "Do all three of you live together?"

"Yup! They have their own rooms and pets so they are constantly occupied with something. Naruto has a dog named 'Danny', and Sasuke has a cat named 'Tomato' but 'Toma' for short."

'Sasuke likes cats?' Sakura's face start to redden at the thought of Sasuke snuggling with a cat. There was still this big question on Sakura's mind however....

"What about Sasuke's parents? Are they in the picture?"

Y/n stopped smiling, going completely silent as well. Sakura furrowed her eyebrows, realizing she went too far.

"Oh...I'm sorry I didn't mean..."

"It's fine. It's just...it's a very long story....You wouldn't want to pry into Sasuke's private life without his knowledge, would you? He'll hate you forever if you do. This topic is extremely sensitive to him so I can't say anything." Y/n responded, giving the young kunoichi a sad smile.

A little manipulation wouldn't hurt.

Y/n knew Sakura meant no harm when she asked this question but she just...can't. She doesn't want to talk about it. At least, not right now.

"No! I don't want Sasuke to hate me. Maybe in the future...when he's ready..." Sakura frantically says before switching to another question.

"How'd you get Sasuke and Naruto to tolerate each other? Usually every time Naruto sees Sasuke, he's always yelling and making a fool of himself." Sakura crossed her arms, huffing.

"Wellll...One day, when I was shopping for ingredients with Naruto, I bumped into Sasuke and his mother. We got along quickly however it took some time for Sasuke to like me. But it was worth it! I knew them since they were five and six years old! Wow, time really does go by fast. I almost forgot that you guys are about to be teenagers."

'Ah, then that means they won't wanna be around me all the time anymore and will go fully independent...'

"..But yeah, since Naruto and Sasuke grew up together, they learned to at least tolerate each others' existence especially since they live in the same household." Y/n explained. "But knowing Naruto so well, he'll trill try to battle Sasuke."

"And lose, right?"

"Yeah haha!" Laughed the women. "It doesn't get old."

Sakura smiled. She wanted to ask more questions about the others but she didn't want to gossip about that. She now wanted to know about Y/n.

"Uhm...what was your childhood like?"

"Hmm..." Y/n took a second to think. "It's vivid...but you can kind of say I was just like Sasuke..Except personality wise."

Sakura stared in awe. "Wow. Were you the strongest kid in your class?"

"More like the strongest in my home village at the time...well, alongside my sister." Y/n mumbled but Sakura heard.

"You have a sister?"

"..yeah. But I lost contact with her a long time ago."

"Oh..I'm sorry you and your sister separated. I hope you find each other one day. I would like to meet her someday."

Y/n patted Sakura's head. "Ah don't worry about it. Let's not get all sappy now."

"Since you're so strong, could you teach me some of your techniques?"

"Like?"

"I don't know yet...maybe kunai training, or Chakra control."

"But you're already perfect at those."

"Well! um-"

"You don't have to think of it immediately. Take some time to think and I'll help you, 'Kay?"

Sakura nodded at Y/n's words.

'Wow. Naruto is really lucky to have a mom like her. My mom is just an ordinary person.' Sakura's brow twitched as she thought. 'I wish I had a cool mom like her.'

The conversation came to a stop at the sound of Tazuna yelling at another old man. The old man, Giichi, wanted out on the construction in fear of a man named Gato.

Angered, Tazuna told Giichi to don't bother coming back and walked off.

"..." Y/n frowned a little. Sakura stared nervously.

"Aish...this is going to be one troublesome mission." Y/n sighed.
