(Evening)

Eunji's pov

"Wanna talk about it?" I asked him. He was silent at first but then spoke.

"Everything was all fine and happy, we became really close but not more than that. She was seven months pregnant, she went to Busan because she wanted to visit her mother's grave. I couldn't go with her there because I was preparing for my finals at that time but she did go with her close friend. The day she was supposed to come back, I got an unknown call. It was a man, he told me that she was in labour and I should come there. I was worried if she and the babies were okay. So I told my father, rushed to Busan and reached the hospital. But by the time I reached to the room, the doctor told me that she lost a lot of blood while giving birth to the twins and she was no more and I regret not confessing my feelings to her before " he said controlling his tears.

"It really hurts me to see her laying on the bed, lifeless. I felt like my world was falling apart. So I made a decision to keep the twins for adoption because I knew couldn't be a good father to them but when I saw them sleeping in the incubator and when I held them. They both had all of my features but one. The eyes bright and sparkly just like their mother"

"At that moment, I knew I couldn't leave them so with the help of my parents, I raise them because I was still inexperienced being a parent and that too managing my studies" he said, his eyes glassy, nose red and lips quivering. I hugged him because I knew how much it hurts us when losing someone whom you love and was close with.

"Let it all out Tae, just let it all out" I said making him burst into tears, his hands clutching onto me tightly. I stroked his brown hair to comfort him.

Time skip

After crying a lot, He was tired and slept on the couch with his head on my lap, me gently playing with his hair. He looks so fragile right now. It hurts me to see him like this for the first time and he never shows himself being miserable because he had to stay strong for his kids.

My phone pinged indicating I got a message, I checked my phone to see a message from Namjoon telling me that he's here outside with the kids who were already tired and asleep.

I carefully kept a pillow under Tae's head and got up from the couch, covered him with a blanket and left silently.

I opened the front door to see Jin and Namjoon carrying the twins. I led them inside so that they could keep the twins in their room.

"Thank you for looking after them" I said.

"It's alright. How's Tae tho?" Namjoon asked me.

"He slept after crying" I said.

"Yeah, he has gone through some hard stuff. He also had to fight against her family for the custody of the twins in the court. He wasn't gonna give the twins to that abusive bastard" he said.

"I changed their clothes and they're tucked in their beds" Jin said as he came down.

"Thanks Jin" I said, walking them outside to their car.

"Don't mention it" Jin said smiling. They got into the car and drove out of the driveway, onto the street.

I went back into the house, I walked up to the the kid's room. I opened the door trying not make sounds. But I silently cursed to myself when I saw Junseo standing in front of me, scaring the shit out of me.

"Why are you standing here?" I asked him before I noticed that there was tears in his eyes.

"Hey sweetheart what happened?" I picked him up, he kept his hands around my neck and buried his head in the crook of my neck.

"I got a nightmare" he sobbing quietly. I walked towards his bed and sat on it.

"You left us" he said.

"What?"

"In my dream, You were laying on the bed in a hospital and you looked so sick that there's no hope of recovering. Me and my brother cried a lot especially daddy. He looked so heartbroken when you left us" he said, sniffling.

"Aww, don't worry it's just a nightmare which means it won't come true. I will never leave you guys" I said hugging him.

"Pinky promise Angel?" He said keeping his little Pinky out.

"Pinky promise" I said joining his finger with mine.

"Now go to sleep, you have an early day tomorrow" I pinched his nose gently. I put him back to the bed, tucking him in.

"Can you sleep with me here?" He asked me.

"Sure" I said getting into the bed.

"Goodnight mom-...Angel" he said shutting his eyes close quickly. Did he just call me mom? I kind of felt happy when he said that.

"Goodnight sweetheart" I said smiling, patting him to sleep.

Next morning

Taehyung's pov

"Taebear, it's time to wake up" a familiar sweet voice, which I haven't listened to it for a long time.

Hee-Young!

I opened my eyes and all I see white clouds everywhere, I was so fucking confused why I'm not in my home.

Is this heaven and why I'm here?

Did I die from crying?...

"Hey" I turned around to see a female silhouette walking through the clouds. I gasped to see who it was when she came out. She still looks the same but more matured and ethereal like an angel.

"Hee-Young?! Ho-How did you? How I'm here and what about the kids?!" I was panicking.

"Relax Tae! I just came in your dream" she assured me with a smile on her face, I sighed out of relief.

"So how are you?" She asked me patting down on the empty space which looks like a bench made from clouds. Will I able to sit on it?

I sat on it and fortunately, I didn't go right through it.

"I'm fine! What about you?" I asked her.

"Well I'm doing great! I can see every single thing from up here. I could even see my favourite band performing for free, like could you believe that?" she gushes out everything she did.

"And I could see my two little boys too, you raised them well Tae" she said.

"I wish I could also raise them along with you but it was time for me to go, anyways I'm also happy that I could watch them from here"

I was silent cause I didn't know what to say.

"So how's she?" She asked me.

"Who?"

"I'm talking about Eunji, you dumbo!" She said.

"You guys are so cute! I'm literally shipping you guys" she said squealing. I blushed instantly.

"She's literally the perfect one for you, she's smart, funny, caring and courageous too, She treats the boys as her own kids. She would be a great mother and I like her" she said grinning.

"I wished I could have her courage you know?" She said looking down at her lap.

"Huh why?"

"She confessed to you at once she figured out what she felt about you, I should've done the same back then but I was a coward. I was scared that you would leave me and my babies again. So I didn't dare to tell you but when I realised that you also had feelings for me, it was too late" she said with a sad smile, a single tear flowing out of her eye. I felt my eyes getting wet again.

"I'm also sorry, I-"

A bell ranged which interrupted me.

"Ah shit, I'm running out of time. I would really love to have more time with you but I have to go back to my post, bye" she said getting up, I also stood up.

"Take a good care of twins and Eunji. I swear if you don't propose her soon, you will face my wrath" she said glaring at me.

"Yes yes" I said laughing.

"Ah I forgot to tell you, I met my real father back in Busan. I hope you could meet him and he may have something from me. I wish you could give it to the twin's upcoming birthday. His name is Seo Hyunsik" she said and I nodded to her request.

"So this is a goodbye I guess" she said.

"Well it was nice to see you for one more time" I said smiling at her.

"Can I hug you for one last time?" She asked me, I accepted her warm hug.

She pulled the hug apart and waved at me before her wings magically appeared behind her, she was definitely an angel.

She flew away into the clouds after giving her bright smile, the smile I loved seeing on her face. I waved at her fading figure before closing my eyes.

I woke up from the sounds of Yeontan's barking. I could barely open my eyes because they were sore from crying for hours. Once I could see properly, I sat up thinking about the dream I had earlier. Thank you Hee-Young.......

I got up from the couch and stretched my stiff body. Eunji wasn't here so I looked for her everywhere (except the twins bedroom) but couldn't find her. Maybe she might've went to her house to get her stuffs.

I went to the kitchen with Yeontan walking behind me.

Yeontan: you forgot about me, didn't you said that I was an important character? *barks angrily*

Panda: but you're here right so calm down, here's your fave treats! *nervous laughter*
Yeontan: *growls*
Tae: Yeontan! Be good to the author!!
Yeontan: hmph *walks away*
Panda: *sighs in relief*

I unlocked my phone to see many missed calls and hundred of messages from Namjoon hyung.

Are you alright Tae?

You don't need to come work tomorrow.

Once I went through all the messages, I replied him that I was fine. I looked at the time and realized that the twins need to wake up for their classes.

I climbed up the stairs and went inside their room to see Eunji sleeping beside Junseo and Minjun. (Minjun joined them too)

The boys looked tired so I decided to text their teacher that there won't be any classes today for them so they could relax. I joined them in the bed on one side while Eunji is sleeping on the other side and the kids in between us. (The bed is big enough for four people)

I smiled, looking at my girlfriend. she wasn't angry or sad when I told that I still think about Hee-Young, It's not that I don't love Y/N. I love her, much more than Hee-Young.

It's just that Hee-young was the one who changed me and my thoughts about love.

"Love is not only something you feel, it is something you do" That's what she said to me.
