Two Birds
Before I start. Let me say something:
Okay rant over, enjoy!
"So, when are we going to tell Strange?" Bruce questions Natasha as they walk around the woodland area around the cabin. It's been a week since they found out about Natasha's pregnancy. They haven't told anybody else about it yet, Natasha was just really unsure of when it was right to do so.
Natasha shrugs, "just give him a little while longer." She grins a bit, "plus, he should have had this thing figured out by now."
"I know... just just feel like we should tell him though Natasha. Just so we can try to work with him to confirm that this is really what happened." Bruce gently took her hand as they continued to walk.
"I'll tell him later, I promise..." Natasha sighs as she moves her hand away from him.
Bruce looks at her, a little worried, "Natasha, he stepped out of his way to help is with this. The least you could do is tell him about your pregnancy. This could be the answer we were looking for, don't leave him searching around for it."
Natasha sighs, "you're too nice. Fine I'll call him. Can I use your phone?"
Bruce smiles softly and hands her a phone. He kisses her cheek as she takes it from him. Natasha quickly calls Strange and walks away from Bruce to talk with him. Bruce raised a brow, why would she do that? He just shrugs it off and waits for her to come back over after the phone call. Bruce looks around at all of the trees and occasional Squirrels that ran by or birds they flew around together. He noticed two birds sitting together on a branch and he smiles softly, reminded him of his relationship with Natasha. He would have never thought they would be together. It almost felt sorrel to him, like it was some dream that he would wake up from at any time. On how he wished it wasn't... He continues to watch the birds for a little longer, eventually one flew off and left the other alone. Bruce frowned a little as he watches, "Don't worry buddy, she'll be back." He mutters, "just don't give up on her." He jumped a little as he heard the crunching of leaves. Natasha walked back over to him and handed back his phone.
"Okay I told him, but if he tells anybody I will stab his vocal cord out of his body." Natasha grumbles.
"Wow, so violet." He takes his phone with a small grin. He moves to kiss her cheek as he grabs for her hand, "lets head back. I'm starving."
"You're starving? I've been eating all day, yet I still want tenths." She grins as they start to head back over to the cabin.
Bruce smiles, "Oh I know. As long as you're not starving the poor kid I'm fine with you eating as much as you do."
"Oh this kid is far away from starved, I promise you that." She grins.
"Do you have any cravings yet? Anything odd?" Bruce questions, Natasha shakes her head.
"No, but they're soon to come. I can feel it. So Pepper may need to stock up on food." Natasha continues to walk with him, not letting go of his hand.
"I'm kinda worried about that though... I don't want you to eat up all their food. I've also been thinking about what we should do when the time comes, stay here in the cabin? I don't know if they have any spare room for another baby."
Natasha thought about what he said for a moment, he was right about that. Another baby could stress them out as well, it just wouldn't be right if they stayed here the whole time. "Well, That is something to think about. We're not trapped here you know? We could always find our own little place. Somewhere quiet, somewhere that would let our child live a happy life." She smiles softly.
"I want that more than anything, I really do. Just to see them smile will make everything we will do for them worth it." Bruce steps onto the porch with her. "What do you want it to be anyways? Boy or girl?" He smiles softly.
"Boys are adorable little thing, but I would like to have a little girl honestly. One I could teach to dance or to snap bones like sticks." Natasha smirks.
"Sounds about right." Bruce chuckles, "a little girl would be nice. I could use more girls in my life."
Natasha grins, "oh really? Too many boys?"
"Honestly yes, the whole team is a bunch of boys." Bruce speaks honestly, another girl wouldn't hurt.
"Just imagine if they because an avenger." Natasha's eyes widen. "But of course, it would be their choice to make."
Bruce nods, "as amazing as that would be, you're right. If they say something about being on the team then I'll help them get there." He smiles softly, "I'll do anything to help them get where ever they dream."
Natasha kisses his cheek, "you're going to be an amazing father." She move to hug him as she smiles. Bruce holds he close, kissing the top of her head.
"You're going to be an amazing mother, I just know it." He gently rubbed her back, "you'll be an amazing mother, and maybe even an amazing wife someday."
"Wife?" Natasha looks up at him with a small grin, "you're already thinking about marriage Dr. Banner?" She teases him a little about his choice of words.
Bruce chuckles, "well of course. I had all that extra time to think about what we... could have been..." he fell silent as he looked at her, tears forming in his eyes. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say that to you..."
Natasha places a hand on his cheek, "it's okay, it's not your fault. I know you missed me, I missed you too. I really did." She wipes away a few of his tears as they fell down his cheeks. "You don't have to miss me anymore, I won't be going anywhere. I promise you that I will always be right here with you. Where ever you go, I'll be right there."
Bruce smiles at this, looking at her. He admires her beauty and how gentle she was. He adored her, his heart adored her. It craved for her love and her care. Natasha would be the best mother for their child, he knew she would. Bruce though of something as an idea comes to mind. "But, would you really want to be my wife someday?"
Natasha nods, "of course, I am the mother of your child. I adore you so much too. I would love to be your wife someday." She moves to kiss him gently. Bruce smiles as he kisses her back, wrapping his arms around her waist. The two shared a loving kiss that felt like it went on forever, they wanted it to last forever, but eventually they had to part ways.
"What about... in a few months?" He smiles softly. "Would you like to be my wife few months?"
"Are you asking me to marry you?" Natasha grins a little, "just say the words." She chuckles.
Bruce smiles, "yes I am. I don't care if it's too early or anything like that. We know each other, we can stand each other for the most part. Let's just do it. Natasha Romanoff, would you like to be my wife?" He studies her with a bright smile.
Natasha smiles back, tearing up a little. "Of course I would, I don't care either. I love you for everything you are."
Bruce hugs her even more, "I'll get you a ring some day. I promise." He kisses her cheek, he was full of joy.
"I don't need a damn ring." She kisses him once again, she too was full of joy. She was alive for only a few weeks and so many miracles were already in the works. It felt like a whole new chapter for her, maybe even a whole new life. She eventually pulls away from the kiss, "I just need your unconditional love." She whispers to him."I adore you."
Bruce nods, "it's all yours. I promise." He moves a hand to her stomach, "it's all theirs as well. I'll have so much to give you guys, I promise."
Natasha laughs a bit as she wipes away a few of her own tears, "stop, you're making my cry."
"I think it's adorable." He kisses her nose, "I adore it." He grins.
