Leap of 7 Months

It has been 7 months Nandini went away and 3 months she talk to anyone of them, in the first 4 months everything was good Nandini used to talk to everyone and mostly with Manik...

Even Manik used to keep his phone with him by every possible even ICT members understand what's he is going through...

They always tried to make his mind divert but Nandini never leave his mind or heart...

In the past 3 months she used to just message them not much but she did but couldn't talk because of network issues...

But finally the wait of 7 months is over, finally Manik will see his love, will hug her, will again confess to her...

Wankhede stadium

All the players were in the dressing room getting ready and Manik was looking at his ring only...

Manik was super excited to finally meet Nandini but the luck was not good she couldn't reach early so maybe she will come in middle of match or after the match she will come...

Whole team was looking at Manik who was smiling from last week like a mad person but they know why he's behaving like this.... They can't even imagine being away from their love and here Manik was away from 7 months...

Virat: Manik it's time to go

Manik look at Virat and nodded his head and took out his ring from his finger and put it on chain and wear it...

They all went to ground with a smile to win the T20 world cup....

Murthy's and Malhotra's were in VIP aera with other family members of ICT...

The first half was good for ICT and Manik took 2 wickets... As soon as the break was called he went towards the VIP aera but didn't found Nandini there...

Manik: Mom... Nandini?

Nyonika: She didn't came till now Manik...

Manik: It's okay she told that she may come in middle of match or after the match...

Ishita: Haa kai baar usko late ho jaata hai sab procedure complete karne mai...

All nodded their head and were talking to them when someone came there...

Person: Mr. Manik Malhotra

Manik (turning around): Yeah?

Manik and everyone saw there were 2 army officers one was holding the baby and there was a small bag also...

Even the ICT team and their families were also there now...

Officer: I'm sorry but Major Nandini Murthy is martry... We are sorry for your loss... They country, government and the army will never forget her sacrifice... Sir this letter is for you...

Everyone was shocked listing to the officer, Ishita fall on her knees crying while Raman sat on the chair as Raj helped him... Nyonika went towards Ishita and hugged her...

Manik was blank he didn't cried or shout or say anything just stood at his place...

Mahi came forward and put his hand on his shoulder to brought him back but he just mumbled that "She's alive" "It's all lie"... Mahi couldn't see him like this more he slap Manik to bring him back...

Manik put his hand on his cheek and saw Mahi and hugged him tightly and cried... Hearing the voice the baby also started crying making their attention towards her...

Everyone looked at the baby looking at her it can she was just born or maybe 2-3 days back...

Officer: Sir she's Major Nandini Murthy and Yours Daughter...

This was a shocked for them a complete shock as Nandini never told them about her being pregnant whenever they talked she didn't said anything...

Manik was like he himself don't know what he should do, be happy that he had a daughter or cry for the love of his life...

Officer: Sir this letter is for you...

Officer gave the letter to Manik who took it with shaking hands... He slowly open it while crying...

I never wanted you to read this letter or even I never wanted to write this letter... But the situation had forced me to right this letter... I'm sorry I can never come to see your single match... I'm sorry for not giving you my number at first place... I'm sorry that we couldn't cuddle... I'm sorry we couldn't do pranks on eachother or others... I'm sorry we couldn't see eachother the first thing in the morning... I'm sorry we couldn't get MARRIED... I'm sorry for not telling you that I was PREGNANT... When I left that day I didn't know for next 3 months, after 3 months I got to know that I'm pregnant Manik but I couldn't come from there or even tell you about this because of security reasons... I'm sorry Manik I couldn't give you the beautiful phase of your fatherhood... I'm sorry I didn't give the time of 7 months of OUR DAUGHTER... I didn't talk to you all much because there was network issue and I know if I will talk than I surely will say about my pregnancy or I will cry making you tensed which I don't want.. *Manik legs got weaken and he stumbled down, Ritvik and team members came towards him... Mahi side hugged him with Virat and Rohit* I'm sorry we couldn't sing together but only one song we did that too in the house in which we wanted to live TOGETHER, FOREVER, HUMESHA... I'm sorry I couldn't dress up as YOUR BRIDE and come to that house... I'm sorry for making you miss the BIRTH of OUR DAUGHTER... She is just like you Manik very naughty but she never make things hard for me there... She has the mole on her upper lip just like you even she has mole on under her left eyebrow... She has her nose just like you but the eyes are like me... *Manik smile reading that and look at their daughter who was sleeping now* Manik I know I don't need to you these but still as a mother I'm saying please take care of our daughter... Please give her the love of both Mother and Father... Please take care of yourself and others... I don't want you to neglect your health okay... Continue you to play Cricket Manik be there for INDIA... Train the younger ones be the kid in front your seniors but a role model to young ones... I want you to do your best in every match you play... You smile when you do great in match though I didn't see you playing but I know that and I Fall in Love with Your Smile for First time we met which I never said... I LOVE YOU MR. ANJAAN AKA MR. CRICKETER... I will be with you every step of yours just close your eyes you will find me smiling looking at you... Tell our daughter that Mumma Loves her, tell her she's sorry for not being there for her first step, first word, first day of playschool, for not making food for her, for taking care of her, for not waking her up everyday, for not getting irritated when she teams up with you, for not cooking together, for not have picnic with her, for not coming to her school, for everything tell her that her Mumma is sorry for everything and Mumma will always be there with her... Everyone was crying hearing what Nandini has written, Manik crying while reading whole letter even the other people were crying seeing this...

Manik look at their Daughter who was still in one of the officers arms, he got up fold the letter putting it in his pocket he went towards his daughter...

He took her for the officer and smile looking at her who had open her eyes now and was smiling looking at him...

Manik: Nandini ne sahi kaha her eyes just like hers and everything else...

Manik kiss on forehead, feeling her father's touch the baby giggle more...

Manik: Mom please take care of her till the match get complete, I'm going to play...

Everyone was happy and sad and what not, Manik gave his daughter to Ishita and Nyonika than look at his other family who were looking at him with smile... He than look at his team who were was also crying... Because it's just not a Team but a Family...

They left from there to ground with a will to win the match... It was India's batting, Manik scored a century and look at the sky pointing towards sky and give a flying kiss... Public was confused why he did this because he never did in any other matches of his...

Soon match was completed and India won and it was time for interview...

Reporter: Sir you never did like this what you did when you complete your century...

Manik: It was for my Fiance whom I love even from now on my every match is dedicated to HER and OUR DAUGHTER...

Reporter: Sir your daughter?

The whole world and the stadium was shocked listing to Manik reporters were asking questions one after the other...

Manik: Yes our daughter... For security reasons we couldn't tell anyone but now I'm telling that...

Reporter: Sir where is your fiance?

Manik: She's martyr...

This was a shocked to everyone, Manik went towards Ishita and took the baby in his arms and went towards the Media...

Manik: Meet Naisha Nandini Manik Malhotra... Daughter of Major Nandini Murthy Malhotra and Manik Malhotra...

Manik announced it with a smile on his face and media click their photos when Manik kiss on the baby's forehead...
