A/N: I dedicate this chapter to the lovely agentbot08 for helping me create my OC after a #rosebennettdeathsquad conversation. He's actually based upon her!

P.S. Craig's thoughts are italicized!

...

Craig Geyer is a simplistic soul. His favorite drink is apple juice, which he would speak very passionately about. You could count on his hair being messy, just as his handwriting. And his nerdiness never wavered.

At first, he hadn't liked the idea of moving from the states to London. Yet, his aunt had convinced him it would be another adventure for him to figure out along the way.

She was like that. Only thinking of the positives, when there were so many other possibilities to beheld. Craig was an overthinker.

As he walked through the hallways of Hogwarts trailing behind a rather odd man, who happened to be speaking to his aunt about the Wizarding world, he thought about what it would've been like to be here for all seven years of education.

Craig was a previously homeschooled wizard, by his aunt and a nearby governor in Maryland. They had complied all sorts of Wizarding books that helped him become very advanced, too advanced to keep teaching by themselves.

"Mr. Geyer, the day of the sorting, September 1st, you will be sorted last, and depending on where the Sorting Hat puts you, you'll sit at the varying house table."

The strange man was tall and thin, looked like you could break him in half if you tried. There was something strange about the twinkle in his eye, as if he somehow knew everything. His name was something like Doodledorf? Craig couldn't remember.

"I'd like you to meet the heads of houses. The first one is your Potions Professor and while we're in the dungeons, I'll show you the Slytherin common room."

Doodledorf showed Craig and his aunt down a very lengthy staircase, with every portrait chatting away as they walked past.

"Professor Slughorn! Meet our newest student, Craig Geyer!"

Slugesnort shook Craig's hand with a wide smile on his face. Geyer noticed that his forehead was sweating profusely and he looked nervous for some reason.

"See you in class, Craig!"

He felt bad that he couldn't remember the professor's name, yet he never seemed to remember anyone else's name as well.

Then, Doodledorf turned around the corner and showed them to what Craig assumed was just a bare patch on a wall.

"This is the entrance to the Slytherin common room, there's a slight situation with biting couches, so we'll have to skip the tour of the inside."

This is such a helpful tour. Craig thought sarcastically, Doodledorf is being a very good tour guide right now.

"Next, I'll take you to meet Professor McGonagall. She's the head of Gryffindor and your Transfiguration professor."

The trek from the Slytherin "wall" as Craig had dubbed it to the professor's room was filled with many stairs, causing Craig to trip once or twice. He was a fairly clumsy person.

"Minerva! This is Craig, the new American student I was telling you about! Craig, this is Professor McGonagall!"

She seemed colder, less open to student interaction than Professor Slugesnort and that wasn't bothering Craig. Even though he is a fairly extroverted person, he could understand the need to not want to talk to people or be alone with a book.

"I trust that you'll be a good student, Mr. Geyer. NEWT level classes will not be easy."

Doodledorf continued the tour, with the next stop being the Gryffindor common room. Before they could go in, The Fat Lady, had some things to say.

"Dumbledore," ah that's what his name is, "you better hope he doesn't get sorted into Gryffindor because then he would share a dorm with Potter, Black, Lupin, and Pettigrew. Do you know how disastrous that would be?"

Craig wondered who Potter, Black, Lupin, and Pettigrew could be. Why would it be so disastrous if he was in a dorm with them?

"Mr. Dumbledore, who are those people the portrait was talking about? Should I be worried?" Craig's aunt said as the portrait swung open, revealing an abundance of things colored red.

"These four boys, same year as Craig, are Gryffindors and the rowdiest people you've ever met. There's truly nothing to worry about," his calm voice soothed her worries away.

Craig decided Doodledorf fit Dumbledore's personality better, so that's what he intended on referring to him as.

After looking around the common room for a mere fifteen minutes, listening to more protests from the portrait, and tripping on the rug that led down a long hallway, they encountered a strange talking and floating ghost looking thing.

Craig had grown up with a muggle, in a muggle neighborhood surrounded by other muggle children, so he was not familiar with the Wizarding world. His aunt, who raised him, had gotten into contact with one of the only wizards in the area, previously mentioned Maryland governor.

"This," Doodledorf pointed at the floating fucker (another term Craig had made up, since ghost hadn't felt right), "is Peeves. Our local poltergeist." Ah a poltergeist.

"Another student to terrorize!" Peeves blew a raspberry and skirted away with a maniacal laugh.

"I only have enough time to go to either the Ravenclaw common room or the Hufflepuff common room because I have a fairly important meeting to get to. Which one would you rather tour?"

He pondered this for a moment. Ravenclaw sounded much more sophisticated and he liked that, but something about the word Hufflepuff was drawing him that direction.

"Hufflepuff it is!" Doodledorf said without Craig responding. Did he just... read my mind?

...

Craig loved the Hufflepuff common room more than anything. Maybe even apple juice...

The canary yellow and jet black decorations matched the calm atmosphere that exuded itself in the common room. The badger mascot was found in nearly every corner of the room, yet it wasn't overdone.

By the time Doodledorf was forcing the two to leave, Craig had decided he quite liked Hogwarts and its secrets. Ultimately, this was not the last you will see of Craig, but until then...

...

Dumbledore held yet another Order meeting in an enlarged version of his office. More of the usual members showed up, including our queen, Minnie.

In fact, she was the main attraction of the event, since she was at a stand still in her mission.

"Repeat that please, Minerva," Moody spoke in a gruff voice, his two eyes almost falling shut due to lack of sleep.

"At the Smith home, there is one room I haven't been in yet, which has a four digit lock on the outside of the door. I believe that is the door to crack this case wide open. Why else would someone lock a door in their home?"

Snores could be heard from Moody's seat, the lack of sleep had definitely caught up with him. Kingsley, who happened to be sitting next to him, kicked his shin, causing the power nap to abruptly cease.

"What? Who? Where? Constant vigilance!" Moody looked around the room suspiciously.

"Oh Merlin..."

...

Author's Note:

I thought this chapter would be a lot longer than I thought, but I'll make up for it in the next update. How did you like Craig?

Speaking of upcoming chapters... There are only two more that take place during the summer. September first here we come.

I'm not sure if they had lock key codes in the 70's, yet I already wrote it in, so it's too late now.

That's an on time update during school! I really said you wanna see some real speed bitch.

Happy Spooky Season and Jilytober!

Lmao anyways thanks for reading
