♠Earlier That Day♠

"Don't you think he's been in a bit of a mood, lately?"
The blonde tilted his head towards Shoto, who was brewing coffee a few feet away from them.

"I don't know, he seems just as uptight as always to me."
Hanta said blankly, sipping at his own beverage.

"Yeah, but that's because you don't pay attention to your colleagues well enough, Sero."

Hanta placed his mug on the table, bearing an irritated expression.
"If you're so invested in our second-in-command's personal life, why don't you ask him about it, Kaminari?"

Denki perked up.
"That's a great idea! Maybe right afterward I'll tell him to go hug his dad!"
He smiled sarcastically.

"Well then, stop telling me about your dumb dilemma if you won't act on it."

Denki pouted, sinking back into his seat.
He contemplated quietly for a couple minutes; before gasping dramatically and snapping his fingers.
"I know!" He beamed.

By now Shoto had left the lunchroom, so Kaminari was able to discuss his plan freely.

"So? What do you think?"

"I think you're insane,"
Hanta rubbed the bridge of his nose and let out a deep sigh.
"I guess I'm in." He mumbled.
Kaminari gasped.
"Sero!~" He hugged Hanta tightly, annoying him even further. Hanta rarely ever listened to his 'outrageous' ploys, much less actually agreed to go through with one.

Denki figured that the reason Shoto was acting this way was because of a recent case- which was... Fairly true.

So, he suggested checking Shoto's recent case files, after which they'd settle the matter personally.
If they could solve the second-in-command's dilemma, they'd be praised- maybe even receive a slight raise...
Right?

♠At Present♠

"Tenya Iida, is it?"
Kaminari smirked, pointing his metal pipe at the trembling bartender.
"You're coming with us."

"Where are... You taking me?"
Tenya mumbled, his gaze lowered to the shaking fists atop his lap.

He was forced into their car and was now driving to who knows where.
He cautiously turned his head towards the backseat window, peering at the glass in hopes of getting a good look at his captors.
He didn't recognise the men as anyone he'd crossed in the past, so it was all very perplexing to him.

"To meet up with our boss, Shoto Todoroki. You two have unfinished business, correct?"
The man beside him replied, examining his own blonde tufts.

Tenya paled.
'What does Todoroki want from that we couldn't discuss it in person?'
He thought.

"Wha- you okay, buddy? You look kinda sick."
The man at the wheel asked.
He hadn't spoken before, so this came as a surprise.

"Dude. We're kidnapping him. He's not exactly supposed to be over the moon about the situation."

The driver sighed, still keeping his eyes on the road.

"It's just... Ugh, whatever- hi, my name's Kirishima Eijiro. You're probably not in any trouble, so don't worry about it. These two doofuses are just kiss-ups and will do anything to be acknowledged by our superiors."

Eijiro nodded to the two men respectively.
"That's Sero, and that's Kaminari. They're both children at heart and mean you no harm."

"Really, Kiri?" The man in the passenger seat groaned.

"Rude!" The other cried.

This did not reassure Tenya in the slightest.

If anything, he was even more choked with fear than before; because now, their motives and the outcome were even more unpredictable.

He tensed when the vehicle came to a halt.
A grand building stood before them, it's rooms upon rooms visible from the very outside.

"We're here."
Kirishima announced.
