3 days after the incident with defne , things were pretty calm in the harem even mehmed was fine , he finally got out of his bed and held a divan today . I kept an eye on him all the time , i had to make sure he was fully recovered .

Mehmed loved his father so much , and he always showed it and talked about him in all occasions . I was very sad for him

" I know but if he leaves us what will happen " he said looking away while letting out a sigh .

" you will take the throne and mourn for him " i replied trying to not make it sound mean .

" Mehmed you know i didn't mean saying it in that way ,you know how much i respect your father " what i said made him calm down in matter of seconds and i was glad

" I hate seeing you like this , everything's gonna be okay you got to be strong " he nodded after me and stood up

" you're the reason why i'm strong " he said before placing a kiss on my forehead . He smiled at me and then left my room

I felt sad for him , what he was enduring made me agonize with him but part of me couldn't think about anything but the throne and i kinda felt bad .

I decided to leave my room and when i did i saw some aghas holding boxes and taking them to a room while defne was giving them orders .

" Defne what do you think you're doing " i said walking angrily towards her and she smirked .

" Şehzade mehmed my beloved asked them to prepare this room for me " she said gesturing for me to see her room and it was a lot for her .

" nasuh agha is this true " i said asking nasuh who was standing few meters away from me .

" Yes sultanim " he said looking down .
