2 months later

Today was another difficult day for me ,i've been coping with mehmed's absence but at the same time being so careful with my pregnancy . The stress in the palace was immaculate especially when hurrem and şah sultan fight

Today hurrem sultan has decided to bring us all in one place , today she has decided to throw a party to celebrate sesilia now nurbanu's pregnancy .

We were all sitting in the harem and this time hatice sultan has joined us too . Nurbanu was so happy that all she did was smile to others , every move she did angered me i couldn't stand her .

" The capital needs our heroes back " hurrem sultan said sipping her water carefully and we all looked at her .

She was right , everyone in the table either got separated with their sibling , son , husband or lover . We pratically all shared the same sadness

" may the come victorious and safe " gülfem hatun said with a smile on her face . Our gazes travelled towards the dancers infront of  us who followed the rhytm of the music .

But the music stopped when sumbul agha came in with a terrified face , what happened .

" Sultanlar " he barely spoke as he bowed to us .

" Sumbul what is this face , hope it's not something bad " mahidevran sultan said standing up from her seat .

We looked behind him and saw selim coming in with a sad face , i grew more anxious . Did something happen to my mehmed ?

" I don't know how to say this " after this sentence we all stood up waiting for him to continue .

" one - one of my brothers was executed under the order of my father " air stopped travelling in my body , i felt dizzy when i heard what he said

" What ? " all sultanas yelled and started panicking .

" who is it speak " mahidevran sultan said grabbing gulfem's hand for support .

" We have no news , the news will arrive very soon " selim said putting his hand o his chin

What if it was mehmet ? What if he died . My head got so messed up and a panic attack came throught when sultanas started to cry

I grabbed mihrimah's arm and tried to catch my breath slowly .

" Are you alright ? Rüya what is happening " mihrimah said trying to calm me down .

" something must have happened to mehmed " i said as tears started to rush down my cheeks .i breathed in and out trying to calm down

" Calm down , nothing has happened " she said caressing my arms as i tried to catch my breath .

My panic attack got worse when contractions started , i felt a vague of pain hit my abdomen and it was so bad that i had to yell .

" what is happening " Hurrem sultan barely spoke as she was drowned in her tears .

" call the midwife right now " mihrimah yelled at some maids who rushed outside .

I was so busy with the pain that i had no chance to think about anything else , i hoped nothing will happen to my child .

I kept breathing in and out following mihrimah's instructions . My vision got blurry because of my tears , it was a mix of sadness and pain . Everyone was crying infront of me which didn't help at all

The midwife came in and i stood up with the help of some aghas who carried me towards my room .

I yelled in pain as the midwife was checking me out , i felt like my abdomen was gonna explode .

"It is so early to give birth " the midwife said with a worried face to the other maids including daniela .

" what will we do " daniela asked with a worried face .

" If she gives birth the baby's health will be in danger and if she doesn't the baby will die " the atmosphere was stressing me out

" I will give birth " i hardly could speak between my screams .

" Fine " the midwife replied with a worried face , she then ordered me to start pushing . I wasn't ready for it at all but i started pushing with all my strenght but i lost it whenever i thought of mehmed dying .

I stopped pushing for a moment until i caught my breath then pushed again , the same thing was being done for what felt like hours .

" Here it is " the midwife said right after we heard baby's first cry .

I breathed heavily before closing my eyes as the crying echoed throught my ears . I then looked over at daniela who was grabbing my hand .

" It's a boy " the midwife said happily , i looked over at daniela and gave her a weak smile before i passed out
