This day has finally came , the day where mehmet will go to war with the sultan and his brothers except for selim who was gonna stay to govern and keep the capital safe and honestly i didn't trust him . He had a bad reputation among everyone but he was obviously hurrem sultan's favorite son

I didn't have the right to gather with the family yet so i had to bid my goodbyes personally to mehmet . He has left earlier to say goodbye to his family including his aunts and sister .

After some moments , the door opened to reveal mehmet with a different expression  .

" Rüya " he said opening his arms to me and i immediately hugged him tightly .

" I wish this day never came , i don't wanna leave you alone " i said quietly as he touched my hair gently then we broke the hug

" god knows how much will we stay there  , maybe a year . It depends on how the things go " he tried to make it seem easy but for me it wasn't

I wished he would be able to see his child , and be present on my delivery but i thought that it was no longer possible .

" In case i don't get the chance to see our child first i told my mother and my brother what to name it " what he said broke me into pieces

I was 6 months pregnant so it was impossible for him to be present since just the road took 2 months .

" i will miss you so much , i will try to send you as much letters as possible " he said putting a kiss on my cheek .

" i will miss you , please take care of yourself for me " i said as a tear escaped my eye ,it was hard for me to contain my feelings .

" Me and your child will be waiting for you " i said one last time as i gave him the last hug .

Suddenly the door opened revealing one of the aghas .

" Şehzade ,it's time to go "mehmet nodded at him and looked one last time into my eyes

" I love you take care of yourself my angel " he put a kiss on my hand and left .

I watched him as he went away and when the door closed my heart almost skipped a beat .

It already felt so empty , but i had to stay strong for his sake . I tried to distract myself a bit from the boredom and the absence of my other half but i found myself staring at his desk . His image working on it every night was still graved in my head

Before i could close my eyes the door opened revealing maids with different plates .

" i never asked , just leave " i said trying to close my eyes again but they didn't move an inch

I had to be more careful about my health so i just dismissed them . I called daniela in to keep me company and she sat with me around the table

" Come on put a smile on your face " she said trying to make me smile so i just gave her a small one .

I was so nervous and stressed at the same time , i used to help women from my village who gave birth and they went throught immense pain and that just discouraged me even more
