No one POV
"Come on Rye! You run like a puppy! Can't you be faster?"
Sonny was way ahead, the wind blowing on his face messing with his fur.
In the meanwhile, Rye was trying his best but that day, he was slower than usual.
The two wolves kept running in the forest, their paws hitting the soft ground and the smell of moss filling their lungs.
But suddenly Rye stopped in his tracks, there was something going on...
An invisible force was pulling him towards east, towards the town.
"Rye?" Sonny's voice was far, he noticed Rye's absence later.
The wolf walked through the forest avoiding the huge roots of the trees without a specific destination.
"Where are you going?" His friends asked confused.
"There's something here..."
Rye wasn't making any sense.
They weren't allowed to get close to town, it was dangerous cause there were too many humans.
The forest was safer.
They were almost out of the forest when Rye saw it...or him...
He wasn't tall but he had blonde locks that reminded Rye of his mother's fur and he was walking with another bunch of humans.
"Rye what the fuck is wrong with you? We are too close. Do you wanna get killed?" Sonny was being serious.
"Let's go" the wolf dragged Rye away.

Since then Rye couldn't stop thinking about the human, he was his only thought.
Sonny was pissed about it cause being with a human was extremely dangerous and he was aware that it wasn't a simple crush, Rye found his meant to be.
Not everyone is lucky enough to find their meant to be...Sonny, for example, got adopted by Rye's mother who never find hers, she died as soon as the two wolves became adults.
"Stop thinking about him. It's annoying" Sonny broke the silence.
He was trying to read and Rye's thoughts were disturbing him.
"If you want me to stop then let me go see him. It's 11 pm, no one will be around" Rye begged with puppy eyes and Sonny couldn't say no, he has a soft spot for his best friend.
But only for Rye cause Sonny is a tough guy...let's make this clear.

"He won't be here" The wolf with the black fur was tired of waiting.
"Shh...he's in there I know it, just be patient" Rye's eyes were fixed on the pub on the other side of the road.
After a while, Andy and his friends stumbled out.
"Let's play hide and seek in the forest!" One said aloud.
"God...are they 5?!" Sonny judged while laying on a layer of soft moss.
So the group ran to the forest and they started to hide, Andy had to go and find them.
It was a childish game but Rye couldn't help but smile.
Andy, yeah he found out his name, looked so cute with red cheeks due to the cold and the oversize winter jacket he had on.
But the happiness didn't last long, a scream echoed in the dark forest and a bunch of wolves appeared from nowhere.
Sonny got up fastly and the both of them went to attack the wolves.

Werewolves are not supposed to attack humans and maybe those ones weren't part of a pack that's why they did it but it was Sonny and Rye's duty to send them away.
They weren't many, just a couple so it was an easy task plus the group of people ran away immediately, making the job easy for Sonny and Rye.
"Are you ok?" Sonny asked noticing Rye's concerned face.
"No...something is off with Andy"
They went to look for him and when Sonny called Rye's name, the boy ran...panic growing inside of him.
"Fuck...we have to bring him to the base" Rye looked at his best friend with glossy eyes.
"What? No. We can't do it"
"He's injured, Sonny...I'm not gonna leave him here"
Andy's shirt was soaking with blood and he was barely conscious, a few sounds of pain leaving quietly his mouth.
Rye ignored his best friend's opposition and managed to secure Andy on his back.
As soon as they got to the base, Rye medicated Andy's wound.
It was deep, definitely a wolf's claw but hell be fine.

Andy stayed at the base for a while cause he was too weak to do anything, that's why Rye was always by his side doing everything to make him feel better.
The blonde boy tried to understand the situation but it was kinda hard to accept it but he tried his best.
One day, Andy stayed at the base while Rye went to deal with some stuff, the wolves that attacked Andy and his friends had to pay for what they did.
It was his chance to talk to Sonny.

"I know I promised Rye to look after you but if you don't need anything then leave me alone" Sonny said with a harsh tone even before Andy knocked on the door.
"I actually have to talk to you..."
"Sorry but my agenda is full" he said while doing absolutely nothing.
"Why do you hate me? What did I do to you?" Andy spat out the question.
Sonny just ignored him.
"Are you jealous? I mean from what I learned it's not something you-" Andy got cut of by Sonny's loud laugh.
"You're a funny human Fowler, really...jealous? Me? No human being could ever understand what me and Rye have. We are the same being. I know every single thought in his mind, every single emotion he feels and we share the same pain or happiness. We are linked for life and nothing nor no one could ever change that, not even his meant to be or death. I'm happy for Rye cause he likes you and a lot, which is actually disgusting, but don't you dare to-"
Sonny stopped mid-sentence cause an agonizing pain rushed through this body and he fell to the ground.
"Sonny are you ok?" Andy kneeled in front of him worried.
The wolf didn't reply just screamed in pain.
"It's- Rye..."
It didn't stop, the pain grew.
"God, is he ok?"
"Do I look ok?!" Sonny snapped at Andy.
"Where is he?"
"I- go and start the car...I'll guide you..." Sonny managed to say.

They drove for a while through the woods and it seemed like the situation got better but...
"STOP!" Sonny yelled and Andy hit the break.
"Jesus...warn me before"
"Listen, human...I'm in pain so don't give me orders..."
There was a moment of silence during which Sonny breathed in and out.
"Now...I'm gonna go in there and get Rye out while you wait here"
"No! I'll go with you" the boy protested.
"You need to be fucking ready to get Rye out of here" the wolf sternly said, he was being dead serious.
"Ok..."

So Andy waited for an eternity, at least it felt like that, in the car with worry that was eating him alive.
Then he heard some rumors and a wolf with pitch black fur, Sonny, running towards the car with another one with brown fur, Rye, on top of him.
They turned into humans about a meter away from the car and Rye was unconscious while Sonny was exhausted.
He used his last bit of energy left in him to put Rye on the car, then ordered Andy to go.
"Is he ok?" The blonde boy couldn't keep his eyes on the road.
"The wolves that attacked you...he's an idiot" Sonny was out of breath and Rye's limp body was against his.
"Is he alive tho?"
"Yeah...but we have to go back to the base fastly, I'm losing him"
And with that Andy pressed his foot on the gas.

They rushed inside, Sonny carrying Rye.
They didn't have any time left.
They laid him on the bed and Sonny went to take a couple of things.
"Please, please, please. Don't leave me at least not now ok?" Andy begged taking Rye's hand in his.
"Don't know if you can hear me but hold on a little longer, Sonny will be here soon...he will save you"
At least that was what Andy prayed for.
"Ok...now you have to put this wet towel in his forehead and cut open his shirt, then step back" Sonny ordered and the boy just followed the instructions.
Then Sonny put a weird yellowish paste on Rye's chest, he grabbed his hand and he hold tight a weird-shaped rock.
The boy closed his eyes and mumbled some words under his breath,
They were in a foreign language so Andy had no idea what he was saying but he just hoped for it to work...
Sonny kept repeating something then a tear rolled down.
The grip on the rock tightened till the point where his hand was hurting.
"Rye...hey bud, don't leave me ok? I can't do this without you in this world" Sonny begged and Andy started to cry too, Rye couldn't die, not like that...
Sonny was full-on sobbing with Rye close to his chest, Andy had never seen the boy like that before and the scene was heartbreaking.
"I can't feel him" Sonny turned to Andy, eyes red and glossy.
The boy sat on the bed and hugged the both of them, he was silently crying not only for Rye who was his mean to be but also for Sonny who just lost his best friend.

Silence invaded the room, no one dared to say a word, almost as it was sacred but a quiet whimper broke it.
"You...you cried..."Rye said to Sonny who hugged his best friend so thigh that it was crushing him.
"Fuck you. I died for a second there, don't do that ever again" Sonny didn't know if he was mad or happy.
"Hey..." Andy said and the brunette boy attacked his lips.
"Are you ok?" Andy cupped his face.
"I'm ok" Rye looked at him as Andy was his whole world.
"You scared me there"
"Sorry...just tried to give those assholes a lesson, didn't want them to hurt you again" Rye moved away some hair strands from Andy's face.
Yeah, Sonny was the one that saved him but he knew that Andy was there too.
He never felt that way with someone, he never wanted to love, protect and be with someone in the way he wants to love, protect and be with Andy.
The whole world didn't matter anymore cause Andy was in his life.
Rye and Sonny shared a look.
"You two are disgusting but I'm happy you have him" Sonny said telepathically.
"Then stop looking" Rye smiled with Andy in his lap.
"For real though...he is your meant to be and it shows..." Sonny smiled leaving the two lovers alone.

Not sure what this is but whatever I guess ahahah.
