¨Where you been? Why you sneakin' around?¨ the small head spoke. ¨Shh. Quiet,¨ he knocked before he came in. He saw her sitting on her bed..sad, hugging her knees. ¨Sweetheart, have you returned so soon?¨ she looked to see back at him before looking back again. ¨Oh. Come in, Dad,¨ Just as she said, he went and sat by her. ¨How'd it go? How was the big world? How was it out there?¨

She looked away. ¨It was okay, Dad,¨ she said sadly. ¨What? What's the matter?¨

She looked back at him. ¨Dad, you were right. Humans are awful. They were everything you said. They wanted to bite my toes,¨ she started as he played along. ¨Your toes?!¨ ¨And they had garlic. . . ON BREAD!¨ she exclaimed.

¨What? Look at me. I-i'm getting goosebumps, I'm so scared,¨ he proclaimed then sighed. ¨I'm so sorry, sweetheart. I hate that you had to see that..¨

Mavis suddenly hugged him. ¨I'm so sorry I doubted you.. I'll never leave here again!¨ she announced. That made Drac happy. Though she couldn't see it because she was hugging him..he started to smile but kept on his act and sad voice. ¨Okay...okay,¨ he said, patting her back.

He stood up and placed his hands on her shoulders as she looked up at him. He smiled and brought himself down to her level. ¨Look, Daddy's going to make you the bestest birthday ever. And you're gonna love it. But first, look what I brought you. Your wormcakes!¨ he exclaimed, holding a stack of pancakes in his hand with worms moving and poking out of them. ¨Don't be sad anymore. Remember, this is the year we open Mommy and M/n's present for you.¨ he mentioned. ¨WHAT?! M/n got me a gift! What did he get me?! Is he gonna be there!?¨

¨We'll see. First, you're gonna open Mommy's present,¨ he told her as he walked toward the door. She just couldn't stop smiling.

¨You come down whenever you're ready, honey,¨ he then sighed in relief once the door was closed. ¨Ooh. What did you do?¨ the small head asked with sass. Drac became serious ¨What I had to.¨ ¨Mmm hmm,¨ Drac began walking away ¨She'll thank me one day.¨

Drac soon reached the lobby and walked out of the elevator. He felt good about himself. A zombie came up to him smiling proudly as he lifted up his mask. ¨Yes, what do you want, a cookie? You did all right, man. Move on already,¨ Drac said annoyed, moving the zombie aside. Drac looked towards the spinning doors and saw a monster...no..2 monsters trying to get in. You could hear a muffled voice saying ¨Johnny. Dude..you have to clean out your bag.. it's heavy!¨ which was the second person helping get the person through the spinning doors. Dracs eyes widened as soon as he and another monster came in. he wasn't even looking at—you guessed it M/N. anyways, he wasn't even looking at M/n at this point..but the human next to him. Johnny was smiling as he held the straps of his backpack. Drac immediately had flashbacks..even the humans in the village..of what they were gonna do to Mavis. He used his vampire speed and held Johnny, causing the spinning doors to spin faster while they were in it. M/n was like. . what just happened?....wait- was that...Drac?

¨A human! Who are you? And how did you find this place?¨

Johnny was chill and not scared. Obviously he thinks all the monsters in that building are human..so it hasn't dawned on him yet.

The reason they went through the front is that they thought they would go unnoticed.. Yeah, that didn't go as planned.
