¨Paradise?¨

She stood in her window seal turning back. ¨Yeah, you know. It's the place out there where you and Mom met. Auntie Wanda says you two were just like, Zing!¨

¨I don't know from Zing. Where did you find that card?¨

¨In one of your drawers,¨ she answered looking away innocently. ¨Why won't you ever tell me about how you met?¨

¨It's actually Hawaii.¨

She was confused. ¨Ha-what-what?¨ Her comment made him taken aback about her not knowing what Hawaii was. ¨Look, honey, I know your excited, but everyone has gone to great lengths to come see you on your birthday.¨

¨I know...They always do,¨ she sadly said. She then turned and as she sat down turned into a bat, sitting on her suitcase. ¨But aren't I getting a little old for those parties? I love them, but, I really want to see new things. Go find M/n. Maybe meet somebody my age. To see him again..¨ she then started to pout. ¨Come on. No, no, don't do that. Don't give me the pouty-bat face.¨

¨Okay, there is a human village just a little ways past the cemetery. You could go there and be back in, like, 30 minutes or so. It should be plenty for your first time,¨ he told her. She sighed. ¨Well, it's not Ha-wee-wee, but I guess it's still *smiles*technically out there. Okay, okay, okay!¨ she carried her suitcase with her tiny feet back into the closet. Mavis came out fixing her dress and smiled warmly at her dad and hugged him. ¨Thanks for trusting me.¨ he hugged her back, smiling. But not just any smile, a smile that knew his plan would work... like crushing his daughter's heart. All a father wants..is for his daughter to stay with him forever..is that too much to ask. Once she hit that age where she started to ask if she could visit the outside world..he had to take the risk..letting his daughter go out...or coming up with a plan into tricking her that humans are dangerous because of the trauma he went through and risking his daughters love for him....hmmm yeah imma go with the second option that's a great plan. ¨Of course, little one, I gave you my word.¨ He knows what he's doing. And he knows what hes doing is wrong...guilty.

The crew busted in smiling. [everyone:]¨Hey, honey! Look at this!¨ ¨Hey guys,¨ she greeted. Frank went down to her level as she walked up to him. ¨You excited about tomorrow?¨ ¨Not as excited as I am right now. You're not gonna believe this, but Dad is letting me go out on my own to see a human village!¨ ¨WHAT? No!¨ Everyone's face was in shock. Eunice slithered her hands between Frank and Wayne, parting everyone. ¨Excuse me. Drac! Have you lost it?*hugs Mavis protectively*Lettin' your own daughter out there with those horrible humans you always tell us about? That's why you built this place.*looks at Mavis*They hate us. They're vicious. And they're very loud!¨she exclaimed with sass. ¨Auntie Eunice, maybe they've changed,¨ Mavis started. Eunice scoffed while closing her eyes and turning the other way.¨ I'm just gonna fly down the street and see how it goes,¨ she reassured her(them). ¨Okay, honey, be safe,¨ Wanda told her. ¨Bring warm clothes and a sword.¨

Invisible Man¨ And look out for pitchforks too.¨

Murray:¨Don't you let anyone scoop your brains out, either.¨

Wayne ¨Maybe stay in the shadows. It's more fun to just observe from under a house.¨ Everyone added their own comment.

Frank ¨Guys, guys. She can handle it. She's a Dracula, for Pete's sake, ¨ he told everyone.

¨But seriously, watch out for fire.[gazes away]Fire bad.¨

She walked over to the window before stepping onto the window ceil. Breathing in and out just once. Mavis looked back at everyone smiling. Everyone was proud of her while her dad had a look of confusion. Like 'Is she really about to do this?'

¨Bye, everyone.*jumps backward diving*Whoo-hoo!¨ She let herself fall. But before she hit the ground she turned into a bat. She dipped her wing into the water as she flew. ¨Whoo-hoo!¨ then gave out a laugh.
