(February 3rd, 2022) HELLO! I have decided to write a Broppy oneshot! Why you may ask? wElL- It's snowing outside! No like fr I can't even tell what's my porch and what's my front yard 💀😭

So yeah! Seeing this, I got the inspiration to not only draw Broppy in the snow, but also write about it! So here we are now! :') ANYWAYS- enjoy this!

{EDIT} (March 4th, 2022) So, right when I was about to write it, I got a serious case of writers block and it was REALLY hard to get the story going. It was snowing at that time but it isn't anymore, instead it's warm 💀💀 But anyways, since I'm feeling in the 💖💙✨bRoPpY mOoD✨💙💖, I'm deciding to draw what I feel like Broppy would do on a snow day! So enjoy!! 💖💖💖

~Wonderland~

It was about 7:00 AM, and Branch had just gotten up. He started quietly singing to himself and getting ready to start his day. It was a cheerful morning for him, usually he was very tired and grumpy in the mornings, but today was one of the rare occasions where he was all musical and happy.

When walking out in the living room of his bunker, Branch passed a photo of him and Poppy had had been sitting there on a shelf. Branch turned back around and looked at it with a smile.

Branch looked at Poppy in the photo, and how beautiful she was. Just this thought made him feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Like a butterfly feeling in his chest.

He touched the photo for a second and smiled softly, then continued on his way, singing happily.

Branch was about to get a coffee and relax in his bunker for the morning when...

💥 KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK 💥

"What?!?! Who in trolls name could that be at this time?" Branch said to himself. Though, deep down he thought it was a stupid question, cause even he knew what Troll would be knocking at his bunker door this early.

Branch went to his bunker elevator and started to come up to greet the troll at the door, and he had guessed on who it was, so he smiled a little.

When he reached the top, he opened the "Go Away" Mat to greet this troll, but was immediately covered in a pile of snow. He groaned, annoyed.

But then, he heard a familiar adorable giggle come from the troll, which he couldn't see due to being covered in snow. He knew that giggle from anywhere, and that was from his girlfriend, Poppy.

Branch appeared from the snow and smirked playfully, "Hello beautiful 💖"

A light blush appeared on Poppy's face at the sound of his words. She giggled quietly and then smiled softly, "Hi Branch 😊☺️"

"Is there anything you needed? Also, aren't you cold? There snow out and it feels freezing!" Branch said, in a slightly overdramatized tone.

Poppy giggled once more, "No, I'm not cold, and I was just going to ask you if you wanted to hang out with me in the snow! I thought it would be nice!" Poppy looked down at the floor shyly, dragging her foot in the snow.

Branch smiled softly at how cute she was acting and replied, "I'd love to join you! Just wait a second while I go get ready, because if I stay in this I'll be cold," He laughed a little.

Poppy grinned excitedly, "Okay!! I'll wait out here!" Poppy placed her hands behind her back and swayed a little in excitement, waiting patiently.

Branch smiled at her and then disappeared in his bunker to get dressed with clothes that were more warm for the winter. Before he left again, he picked up a red and green scarf that was hanging and he wrapped it around his neck.

Branch smiled happily, excited to see Poppy again. Then, he walked over to the elevator and then pulled the lever, starting to move it upwards.

When he reached the top, he opened the mat again and then MORE snow piled on top of him. He groaned again but then laughed slightly.

Poppy giggled again and knelt down to him, since he was still inside his bunker, "You okay, Branchie? 😄😂"

Branch's head appeared from the pile of snow and then he laughed a little, "Yep, I'm okay, Pops 😅"

"Yay! That's good! I'm glad you're okay!" Poppy said sweetly, offering him her hand to grasp onto in order to escape from the big pile of snow.

Branch accepted the offer, taking her hand in his. Poppy helped pull him out of the bunker and when he reached the top, she tumbled back into a pile of snow. OOF!

Branch cringed, "Oops- Sorry Popifer- you okay?"

Poppy giggled adorably and appeared from the pile of snow, "Yeah, I'm okay, Branchifer. Thanks~ ❤️"

"It's nothing~ ❤️" Branch said with a small playful smirk, helping her up from the pile of snow.

Poppy blushed lightly and smiled at him, holding his hand and gazing at him lovingly. Branch exchanged the same gaze.

"So, what would you like to do first Pops?" Branch asked his girlfriend, walking along with her.

"Hmm- I'm not sure..." Poppy said, a playful smirk appearing on her face.

Suddenly, Branch got hit in the face with a snowball.

"Snowball fight!!!" Poppy yelled.

Branch wiped the snow off of his face and smirked playfully, picking up some snow from the ground and forming a snowball with it, "I'll get you back for that one Pops! >:3"

Poppy giggled and let out a cry of joy as she picked up a snowball and started to run. Branch laughed too and started to chase her.

"Get back here!" Branch yelled with a laugh.

Poppy smirked and then diverged from the path Branch was going on, trying to leave him clueless on where she was. She smirked, thinking it was a master plan but then she was hit with a snowball.

Poppy removed the snow from her face to see Branch, hanging upside-down from a tree she was standing near, holding a snowball and smirking playfully.

"Got you, Love~ 💖" Branch said, still smirking.

Poppy blushed lightly at his words, feeling a butterfly feeling in her stomach. "Hey!! Not fair! You went in a tree!" Poppy whined playfully, giggling.

"You didn't say I couldn't~ 💖" Branch said softly, smirking, seeing how surprised he'd left her.

"I'll get you for that Branchifer! This isn't over!" Poppy said, competitively.

"You're gonna have to catch me first, Pops," Branch said, he smirked and released himself from the tree and started to run away.

"Oh, it is ON!" Poppy said in a competitive tone, smirking, running after him with a snowball in her hand.

Poppy and Branch continued to chase each other around for a while, throwing snowballs at each other and laughing. Poppy and Branch,  as you know, could become VERY competitive, especially when it came to times like these.

Soon enough, Poppy ended up mindlessly tackling Branch in the snow, laughing. Branch was laughing too, not even noticing.

But, when they looked into each other's eyes and they realized, a dark blush appeared on both of their faces.

Poppy quickly got off of Branch and just sat there in the snow, "Oops- heh- sorry Branchie..." She still had a blush on her face as she stared at the ground.

A light violet blush still appeared on Branch's face as he stood up and dusted the snow off, "N-No It's okay- 😅😅" He held out his hand to her to help her up and she gladly took it, standing back up on the snow-covered ground.

Poppy smiled softly and gazed into Branch's eyes lovingly. Branch did the same, still holding her hand. The two continued to get lost in each other's eyes for a moment.

"Well, that was fun! What would you like to do now, Branchifer?" Poppy asked her boyfriend, still having a grip on his hand.

"Well, I really enjoy Ice Skating, I always went out ice skating with my grandma when I was younger. We could do that?" Branch asked with a smile.

Poppy frowned, "Are you sure it won't make you sad..? Because, I know how much your Grandma meant to you... and I know how much you hurt just thinking about her..."

Branch appreciated her sympathy, but he held both of her hands and faced her as their eyes met. He spoke softly, "Yes, I know the mere thought of my Grandma makes me sad and regretful... But, lately I've been starting to appreciate everything in the present and look towards the future then long in the past. All I care about now is that you're happy, and you're safe, and everything... Because I love you, Popifer..." He smiled sweetly.

Poppy smiled sweetly at him, feeling a burst of happiness throughout her body as she listened to Branch's sweet and caring words. She smiled even more as she pulled him into a tight embrace.

Branch smiled at how sweet she was acting as he embraced her back, tightly as well. The couple stayed in the same spot for a while, only caring about embracing each other and being there for each other in the moment.

A few more minutes passed and then Poppy unwrapped her arms around him and gazed into his eyes, still in his arms. She felt a blush creep up on her face as she smiled at him.

Branch smiled softly, "I love you... ❤️"

"I love you, Too 💖💖" Poppy said, grinning happily. Poppy giggled slightly as Branch kissed her forehead, blushing a little again.

Branch broke away from her and grinned, taking her hand, "Well, come on! Let's go!!"

Poppy laughed and let out a cry of joy, "Okay!! X3 💖"

Branch pulled Poppy along with him as he ran to the lake for ice skating. Poppy smiled, glad to see him this happy, she didn't know ice skating would make him THIS excited, but I guess it did.

*At the lake*

Branch smiled excitedly and pulled some ice skates out of his hair. Then, he found a log and sat down on it and began to slip into his skates.

Poppy just now realized that she'd forgotten her ice skates. "Aw, man! I forgot my ice skates back at my pod!" She facepalmed, mad at herself that she'd forgotten them, because ice skating was actually an activity on her list that she wanted to do with Branch!

Branch smiled reassuringly, "It's okay! I-I have some for you..!" Branch pulled out some nice blue ice skates out of his hair to match her outfit and smiled, a little nervous that she wouldn't like them.

But, to his relief, Poppy smiled excitedly and took them from him, "Yay!!! They're amazing! Thanks Branchie!!!" She gave him a kiss on the cheek and sat down next to him and began to slip on her ice skate.

Branch blushed a little and smiled at how happy she was. When he was ready, he stood up. He'd been practicing for years and it was to the point where he could properly balance himself. Though, sometimes he would get knocked off balance, but that's just because he hadn't been skating in a little over 20 years.

When he noticed Poppy had slipped into her ice skates, he smiled sweetly and held out his hand to her in a kind manner, "You ready, Love..?❤️"

Poppy smiled and nodded, taking his hand and standing up. But, Poppy wasn't as well trained on ice skates as he was, so she lost balance and started to wobble a bit.

Branch quickly wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close so she wouldn't fall. Poppy blushed but then smiled and laughed nervous, "Thanks- and sorry... 😅"

"You have no need to be sorry, it's okay, Pops," Branch said sweetly with a kind smile. Poppy felt butterflies in her chest just seeing his smile.

Branch's smile then turned into an excited one, "Well come on, let's go!! ^^"

Poppy smiled softly at her boyfriend's excitement, seeing him this happy always made her smile too. Poppy stayed close to Branch as they made their way to the frozen over lake to skate.

Before they skated though, Poppy and Branch took the time to marvel over the beautiful scenery. The trees had light dusting of snow on them, and the snow on the ground looked like a soft white blanket. If they were lucky, they could see some winter time animals around. The light reflecting on the frozen lake made it shimmer brightly, and there were even some winter flowers and plants you could see among the white blanket of snow. (Sorry I suck at descriptions OwO')

"Wow... This place is absolutely beautiful..." Poppy said in awe. "This is one of the few reasons why I love wintertime,"

"Yeah, I'll admit it is beautiful, but I've seen something WAY more beautiful than this..." Branch said with a small smile, looking at the lake.

"What would that be?" Poppy questioned.

Branch smiled more and looked over at Poppy, "I'm looking at her right now... 💖"

Poppy blushed and smiled adorably, "Aww! Really? Thanks Branchie!!" Poppy wrapped her arms around him and pulled him into a tight hug.

"No problem," Branch said, hugging her back.

They stayed like that for a moment, enjoying embracing each other and enjoying each other's company.

Then, Branch broke away and held her hand, "Well, let's go! ^^"

"Yay!! :D" Poppy said in excitement as she followed Branch.

When they reached the frozen lake, Branch smiled excitedly as he skated out onto the ice. He smiled happily at Poppy, who smiled back at him. Then, it was Poppy's turn. She carefully got onto the ice, but nearly tripped. Thankfully, Branch was there to catch her and make sure she didn't fall and hurt herself.

Poppy blushed and giggled nervously, "Heh- Sorry... I just haven't been skating in a long time 😅"

"No worries, here, I'll help you stay balanced for a bit, does that sound okay?" Branch asked with a smile.

Poppy blushed a little more and nodded slightly, not saying any words in reply. Branch smiled a little more and helped Poppy get back onto her feet properly. Then, he carefully started to skate with her and help her get the hang of it quickly.

Poppy appreciated Branch's help, and in no time, she was able to skate good like he was.

"Wow! Branch, I don't know what you did but it worked! I'm able to skate like you! Thank you!!" Poppy said gratefully with a smile.

"Oh it's nothing, when you went skating every day in the winter when you were younger, it was easy to get really good at skating. And I thought I'd use that to help you too!!" Branch smiled. (Yes I know trolls only really have 1 day of winter and snow, which is today in the story. But! I feel like whenever it's around that time, it's still cold enough to the point where the lake freezes over so they could skate. But I dunno that's just me.)

"Aww thank you again!" Poppy said, smiling.

"You're welcome 💖" Branch said in reply with a soft smile.

For the rest of the time, Poppy and Branch continued to skate around the frozen lake and have a great time. It was better that no one was around so they could just take the time to enjoy each other's company. They enjoyed the times when it was just them together.

Eventually, Poppy and Branch started to skate together, creating heart imprints in the ice and just skating and dancing together, even though there wasn't any music.

Poppy and Branch then skated up to each other and held hands, gazing into each other's eyes, lovingly. Then, Branch's smile faded a little when he noticed Poppy shiver.

A small and soft smiled appeared on Branch's face again, "Are you cold?"

Poppy put on a fake smile and tried to hide the fact that she was, "N-N-Nope! Not C-C-C-Cold!!! '^^"

"I think so~" Branch said with a softer smile. "I can see you shivering."

Poppy shivered again and Branch had noticed, but she tried to play it off with another fake smile.

"Nah, n-nah! I'm o-o-okay! I'm n-not c-c-c-cold!! H-Heh... 🥶😅" Poppy said.

Branch's smile faded a little, "Okay I think we're done here, I can tell that you're cold, Pops..."

"Awe :<" Poppy said in defeat with yet another shiver after.

Branch held Poppy's hand and skated to the edge on the lake, hopping off at the end with her close by him. He noticed Poppy shivering some more and he frowned, hating to see her cold.

"Well..." Branch started, "My bunker is close, we can go back there so you can warm up?"

"O-O- K-Kay-ay..." Poppy said, shivering more.

Branch then gently pulled Poppy closer and smiled softly, trying to help her become less cold. Poppy blushed but then smiled gratefully at him. 💖💖

"You know, it's okay to tell me when your cold, we can stop whenever," Branch said reassuringly.

"Y-Yeah, I k-kn-know- s-s-sorry..." Poppy said, her smile fading a little as she continued to shiver.

"Well, come on. Let go back to my bunker so you can warm up and all of that," Branch said.

"O-Okay. OOO! C-Can we have hot Ch-chocolate too? :'3" Poppy asked with a smile as she shivered a little more, but started to feel a little less cold.

Branch laughed quietly and smiled, "Of course.." They walked in silence for a bit and then Branch brought up, "I knew you were eventually going to get cold, I had a feeling,"

"Y-Yeah, I guess you were r-right. This dress I-isn't exactly winter material, o-oops... 😅" Poppy said with a nervous giggle after.

Branch just laughed a little and brought her closer as they walked, "Well now you know,"

"Y-Yep... 😅" Poppy said.

A few minutes later, Poppy and Branch has finally reached the bunker. Branch looked over at Poppy and noticed a smile on her face.

"YAY WARMTH!" Poppy said happily, making Branch laugh quietly.

"Well, come on ^^" Branch said, opening the hatch to his bunker and letting her in and following behind her and the sun slowly started to set.

YAY I FINALLY FINISHED IT A FEW DAYS LATER : ''D I'M SO PROUD OF IT AND I SQUEALED SEVERAL TIMES MAKING ITTTT You get to decide what happens next because I was too lazy to continue! So let your imagination fill in the rest! (don't make me regret giving you this power 💀💀💀) Okay, well that's all from me! Bai!!!
