1. What inspired you to start writing?

I liked to imagine my own story and characters within another so I like to believe I inspired myself to start writing, but if we didn't have the great authors we have today I probably wouldn't have used Wattpad at all so I owe it all to them.

2. Did you have any writers' block along the way? how did you get past them?

I did have writers' block at some points, so to get past them I paused my writing and planned ahead by either writing a list of what I want to happen right after the other or just typed it up on a computer. When I write new stories now, I plan the whole thing first with bits and pieces to fill in along the way.

3. Do you see yourself in any characters and why?

I don't really see myself in my characters, I find it fun to write in a totally different mindset to my own and it's quite fascinating.

4. How old are you?

I'm 19 years old.

5. How old were you when you started writing?

I was 14 when I started writing on this app, but I started writing my own little stories from about the age of 7.

6. Can you remember what you felt when you first started writing? what did you feel?

I was so excited and got so lost in my mind that I'd lose track of time. I'd end most days with an aching wrist from how much I wrote.

7. What's your outside life like?

I go to school, and when I'm not studying or doing anything school-related I come onto wattpad and try and write up a few chapters or some more ideas. I go out with my friends when I can, it's hard when life is so busy.

8. Where do you get your ideas from?

Honestly, not to sound like a total cliche but some ideas come to me when I'm dreaming. A couple years ago I dreamt this totally wild dream that I've still yet to write up.

9. What do you like to do when you're not writing?

I like to read, play games, hang out with my cute furbabies and go to the beach.

10. What does your family think about your writing?

My family doesn't know I still write, but my mum was always proud when my teachers would tell her about my writing.

11. What do you think makes a good story?

Interesting characters and character development and a great plot. Doesn't necessarily have to be an original plot if you have some great characters.

12. What's your favourite genre?

I love the horror genre, it's crazy how spooked out you can get just from a few words.

13. Do you write on wattpad or do you use software (like Microsoft word)?

When my internet would play up i would use word to do my writing and then upload it to wattpad. But for the past year, I've just been using wattpad.

14. What's the hardest part to write, for you and why?

The very emotional bits. I think it's hard for me to write because I'm so used to keeping my emotions in, no one around me would take me for an emotional person and it's just something I tuck away. Unless I'm drunk or something lol. So when it comes to writing two characters getting emotional with each other, it takes me too long to get it to be the way I want it and even then I'm not happy with it.

15. Do you work on an outline or just go with the flow?

I prefer to plan my work it makes it so much easier and less time-consuming. But if I've taken a while to update I'll go with the flow for a minute. It works at times.

16. Do you have anything specific you want to say to readers?

I appreciate them so much, they motivate me to keep going and honestly I probably wouldn't be where I am today with my published stories without them.

17. And lastly, Do you have any advice for new writers.

Keep going! Someone out there loves your work :)
