Not Just An Act - pt 1 (Charlie Gillepsie x Reader)
Today was My first day on the set of Julie and the Phantoms. I got the role of a love interest for one of the boys in the ghost band. Today I will get to meet the cast of the show and I can get the script to do the first scene. I was handpicked by Kenny Ortega himself to play this role and I was more than excited to be in an actual TV show.
I was driving down to the studio alone. My mom wanted to come but I told her I was a twenty-year-old adult who was more than capable of driving herself to an audition with one of the best directors ever. When I get there I will have to mentally slap myself to not fangirl in front of Kenny Ortega.
I pull up to the location I was sent and enter the building. I was ten minutes early but I was so nervous that I thought I was going to be late. I arrive and people are already there. I got lost in a room and decide to ask a guy about my age for directions. He is sitting on a couch outside a studio.
"Um, excuse me, do you know where (insert room/set number here) is? I'm supposed to be there in three minutes and I got lost." I feel bad asking and sort of embarrassed. "Oh, my name is Y/N
"Hey Y/N, I'm Charlie. I was actually going to the same place. I'm one of the leads in the show." He smiles. He was pretty cute. We started walking and Charlie led the way through the winding hallways of the building. We went up and downstairs and around the whole place.
"I'm going to be playing one of the supporting characters. I don't know my part yet though. One of the producers said I was perfect to play a love interest though." I replied.
"Oh, who's love interest are you playing?" He smiled and I couldn't help but smile back.
"I don't know. I don't even know what the show is really about. I originally auditioned for Julie but I heard someone else was picked. Kenny Ortega picked me for this role because he liked my personality."
"Woah, you were hand-picked? That's so cool. I already know some people so maybe I could introduce them to you." Charlie replied. "Well, here it is, home sweet home." He joked. We were in the back of the building with a door leading outside.
"It's an exit sign." I looked at him blatantly.
"But you should open it though." He looked at me and smirked. "The magic of Disney is about to happen."
I rolled my eyes and opened the door. I was shocked. The set was awesome. It was sort of what I imagined a movie set to be like but there were fewer people.
"Wait, Charlie, is this, like for real?" I gasped, amazed.
"Yep, and it's all for us." Charlie grinned at me. This was going to be an amazing experience.
