THE STORY REVOLVES around Jiyong and Yu-ri, two students locked in a fierce academic rivalry fueled by contrasting personalities and simmering animosity. She is well-liked by her friends for her determination and supportive nature, but she struggles to connect with others on a deeper level. Yu-ri harbors a deep-seated resentment towards Jiyong. She views his teasing as condescending and is frustrated by his seemingly effortless academic success. She sees him as an obstacle to her own ambitions and resents his constant reminder of her perceived shortcomings.

Their rivalry isn't simply about grades; it's a clash of personalities and approaches to learning. Jiyong's casual attitude and natural ability irritate Yu-ri, who believes in hard work and meticulous preparation. The story follows their interactions throughout the school year. It will likely explore the moments of competitiveness, frustration, and potential grudging respect that arise as they constantly strive to outdo each other.
