PLOT:

𝓛ong ago, before Salazar Slytherin founded Hogwarts with the other founders, he was a young man in love with Callisto Starling, a beautiful pureblood woman who had a bright future in astronomy ahead of her. Despite his heart being incapable of love, he confessed his feeling for poor Callisto. Callisto Starling did not mirror these feelings and wished the best for Salazar. Enraged by this rejection, Salazar Slytherin cursed Callisto so her life would be as bleak as his heartbreak. However, not just Callisto, but the curse stated that the rest of her descendants would be women that would never find love or happiness either. Shortly after that, they went their separate ways and there was no way to lift the curse. 

What happened to the brilliant Callisto? Her stars were lost; her passion for astronomy was lost, she married an abuseful man, and she could not feel love for her children, or any other emotion for that matter. No matter what path Callisto took, tragedy still followed her, it was a powerful curse that no one could banish. Painstakingly, Callisto died afraid and alone at the age of 100, whilst her descendants were given the curse passed through each generation. Each descendant was a girl and cursed, just as Salazar Slytherin said. And now, Calypso Starling is the sun, moon, and stars of our story.

The Marauders at Hogwarts—James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew—are notorious for causing trouble, but they're as thick as thieves. However, they land up in detention, and there they meet Calypso Starling. When she helps them escape from detention, the Marauders graciously named her an honourably Marauder member. However, once learning of Calypso's curse and her wishes, they create a student society in secret; the Stars Society. Together, they break rules, social expectations, discover new relationships, and reach for the stars.
