Elizabeth's POV

It's about 11 AM and I've just arrived at Y/N's temporary house, parking by the pavement I notice how nice it looked, but it didn't feel right. It looked like a place where he did not belong. I walked up to the door and knocked gently, behind the door I could hear multiple footsteps coming towards me. The door then opens, revealing Y/N but he looked different, his eyes seemed baggy and had dry tears. Was he crying? Whoever made him cry is going to feel my wrath- What if he was crying because of me?

Y/N: Hi.

He says groggily, He picked up William who was all dressed up and had a backpack on his little shoulders.

Elizabeth: Hey.

He then passes me the child who I take, my eyes still examining the man who leaned closer to talk to William.

Y/N: Now you be a good boy for Mommy, okay? I'll be back for Christmas before Christmas!

He manages to put a smile on and kisses his son's forehead.

William: Thank you for coming to my Birthday Daddy.

Y/N: Thank you for inviting me. Now go have some fun with Momma.

William: Bye!

Y/N: Bye.

He goes back in to close the door but I quickly interrupt him.

Elizabeth: Are you okay?

He turns, locking his E/C eyes with mine. He gives a pursed lip smile and nods making me return it.

Y/N: I'm fine, Lizzie.

Elizabeth: Okay then. Bye.

Y/N: Goodbye.

I turn to go with William in my arms before I feel a tap on my shoulder making me turn again.

Y/N: Your, a, uh shoelaces.

He stammers and just kneels down on one knee, tieing my shoelaces with his veined fingers. I looked down in slight amusement and gratitude before he patted my leg catching me off-guard.

Y/N: I'll see you around.

Elizabeth: You too.

Arriving home, I was cooking William lunch while he was watching cartoons on the TV. I was in my thoughts, making some chicken fried rice. I was soon then pulled out of my thoughts when William called out, running to the kitchen.

William: Mama I'm hungryyyy.

Elizabeth: I know baby, just give Mama a few minutes and I'll be ready.

William: Okey.

He goes back to the TV and I finish up what I was making and bring it to the island.

Elizabeth: Food is ready!

I called out making the little creature jump off the sofa and practically run to the island. I went over lifting him up and seating him on the stools. Walking back to the other side of the island I take a plastic cup filled with water because he's too young for actual glass and a plate with chicken fried rice. The boy grins at his food and begins eating with a spoon.

William: Thank you Mama.

Elizabeth: Your welcome, baby. Is it good?

He nods eagerly bobbing his head right to left in excitement of the taste, I walk over softly pinching his cheek and sitting right next to him with my plate of food and begin to eat.

3rd Person POV

William: Mama, why aren't you and Daddy married?

Elizabeth: (Taken aback) Well he would have to give me a ring and I would have to say yes.

William: Why did you say no?

William asked slightly upset, he was telling her what Y/N told him yesterday. He clearly didn't understand the grand of the situation due to his age and being shielded.

Elizabeth: I... Didn't, your Dad didn't give me a ring.

William: He says he buy you one.

Elizabeth was stunned. Was William mistakened or did the love of her life, father of her child and her soulmate plan to propose? Luckily for her, Scarlett was coming soon to pick up William for a sleepover they had planned with Rose. Scarlett noticed something was wrong with Elizabeth when arriving but decided not to question it and leave with William.

Elizabeth was now lying in bed, with tears building in her eyes as she flicked through a photo album she kept in a locked draw at the bottom of her nightstand. It was made by Y/N as a gift for her but he was never able to finish it. She was always tempted to look at it but didn't want the pain to follow through.

Until today. She decided she needed to open it despite her not wanting to be faced with the reminder of what she lost.

She reminisced of the life she had with Y/N. The first date in which they were two awkward teenagers and so shy, very little words spoken however she loved it, just being alone with him was joyful for her. Turning the page she saw a group picture of them both with their family, they always loved Y/N and viewed them as one of their own. She still remembered the dissapointment on their faces when she told them she and Y/N were breaking up. Her red and tear filled eyes danced across to a picture of herself and Y/N in his costume recreating the iconic upside-down kiss on the set of Spider-Man. A smile started to tug her lips as she turned the page.

She found another Spider-Man picture. It was in the makeup room where Y/N sitting, with fake cuts and bruises, looking at a mirror and Lizzie, standing beside with a Polaroid covering her face.

Elizabeth saw a picture of her and Y/N passionately kissing holding a small picture in her hand. Their baby's sonogram. Little William. Tears threatened to fall from her eyes as she continued to flick through the book, having to speed over the pictures of herself and her love preparing for William to be born, as the images were too painful. Her heart was beating hard and deeply in her chest until it stopped when she turned the page.

The page was titled "When she says yes" in a fancy font, clearly intending to be a title page for the next part of the book, but more importantly their lives together. As she read those words she knew William was not mistaken, Y/N was indeed going to propose to her. She turned a page with a trembling hand and saw nothing. No pictures. No messages. No future with Y/N.

That was enough for Elizabeth and her tears finally fell from her eyes. Dripping onto the empty pages as she cried alone. She might of been successful in her career and managed to break out away from her name but that success didn't fill her with the joy she thought she would, because all she wanted to do after every premiere or award nomination was to celebrate her success with the man she loved. However she couldn't. She had lost him. Her soulmate. Her Y/N.

The crying could be heard all throughout the empty house as Elizabeth held onto an old hoodie of Y/N's she kept, with the box od clothes he left behind in her wardrobe. She allowed her mind to fantasise about the life she could've had. The sight of Y/N on one knee and a box in hand, William having his 'firsts' with both parents present, the countless dates they would have had, the times they would have spent along together. Throughout all of this Elizabeth was now burying her tear stained face into the clothing in her arms, breathing his scent like a lifeline before she was taken away into sleep.

Elizabeth's POV

2 days later from the recent incident, I am now much better due to William coming back from the sleepover so I had to pull it all together. Right now though, Scarlett is sitting on the couch with me, she's watching Tonight Show with Fallon and I'm on my phone watching Y/N's interviews with press. But only the fun ones. In this one he's reading Thirst Tweets. He looks mega sexy in that blue cardigan by the way.

Y/N: Hi, I'm Y/N L/N and I play Batman in, you guessed it, The Batman. Today I'm with Buzzfeed today to read... Some Thirst Tweets.

Y/N: I'm hoping this doesn't get violent... Which it probably will, like, have you seen my instagram comment section? It's a war zone in there.

I smile seeing him joke around about his Instagram comment section and readjust myself to watch the video better.

Y/N: "Y/N L/N is a sexy man." Uhmm That's not bad, thank you... That's not thirsty, that's just flattering.

Y/N: Next one. "if buzzcut-"

Y/N then laughs hysterically before finishing the sentence.

Y/N: "if buzzcut Y/N L/N ever kills me DO NOT PROSECUTE HIM because he caught ME slipping that's on ME."

Y/N begins to laugh in suprise.

Y/N: Oh my... I knew this was going to get violent... Please do prosecute me if I kill this person because I love justice and so does Batman.

His laugh is so cute, I was watching with an unknowing grin, I just hope he doesn't find these comments weird because I can do much worse.

Y/N: "Y/N L/N in Cinderella is the only man who deserves rights. He has my heart. " Thank you. That's very kind of you to say. You have my heart.

I silently squeal at his words, he's so charming and sweet without trying.

Y/N: "Y/N L/N is a DILF." I only recently found out what a DILF was so thank you for relating that term to me.

Y/N: "I want to lick Y/N L/N's cheekbones."

Y/N then gets closer to the camera showing his cheek to the lense.

Scarlett: Elizabeth why are you licking your phone?

I quickly pull my phone off, pausing the video and wiping the screen.

Elizabeth: Nothing.

Scarlett: Yeah, yeah.

Her attention shifts back to the TV and I resume the video.

Y/N: "Accidentally yelled 'daddy' when Y/N L/N appeared on TV infront of my mom. Nice."

Y/N: I hope that didn't embarrass you too badly. Privately, I think your mom would say the same thing in her head.

He smirks at the camera before going back to the next Tweet.

Y/N: "Tom Holland with Y/N L/N, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield? My bussy is shaking."

Y/N then errupts into laughter with his face buried into his hands.

Y/N: Umm. Well, I'm sorry to break it to you. But I'm not in the movie but Tom is going to kill it and I'm really excited to watch it. Only a week or so left!

Y/N: Okay, a few more left. "Y/N L/N's Spider-Man can shoot webs up my ass and I'd enjoy it." Wow... No words, I'm just really shocked...

Y/N: "I would crack open the multiverse so Y/N's Spider-Man and Batman can rail me..." Oh my God. I'm happy I don't have twitter right now... You guys need Holy water.

Y/N: Okay... Just like 3 or 4 more left. "I'd let Y/N eat my W.A.P." Waffles and pancakes? I'd love to try some!

Elizabeth: Baby, you can eat my WAP.

Scarlett: Please keep your words in your thoughts. Your son is in a 20 feet radius from here.

I huff, continuing to watch the video.

Y/N: "This photo is my bisexual awakening." Oh wow... That's actually funny you bring this up because Elizabeth and I were dressed up as those characters for my sons birthday.

I let out a loud gasp in excitement, turning to a confused Scarlett due to how loud I was.

Scarlett: For fucks sake Lizzie, I like my ears. What are you even looking at.

Her head leans over me to see what all the commotion was about on my phone.

Scarlett: Really, I nearly went deaf over some fan art?

I shrug and return to the video that was nearly ending, this fanart was really cool. It reminded me of a little roleplay fantasy I was having.

Y/N: Okay. Finally. Last one and my misery ends, just joking these are funny. "I'd let Y/N L/N rearrange my insides." Fantastic! I'm a very good interior decorator, so let me know when we can arrange something.

Y/N: Anyway! Thank you for watching and make sure to catch The Batman in cinemas 26th December.

I practically clenched my phone so hard, how dare this anonymous comment allow him to rearrange someone's insides other than mine. He's probably clueless and doesn't actually know the Internet term. But still.

Scarlett: If you break that phone I'll laugh so hard that you'll go deaf instead.

I sigh and put my phone down, I look over to see Will and Rose playing with the action figures making me smile slightly, I turn to the face the TV.

Elizabeth: I just want to forget about him for one sceond.

Suddenly the sound of the Television interrupted me. It was Jimmy Fallon's voice.

Fallon: Next up, Y/N L/N!

Elizabeth: Oh you gotta be kidding me.

Y/N steps out of the Elevator on Fallon's set, I swear my knees were going weak but luckily I was sat, he was wearing a dark navy suit that accentuated his looks very beautifully. The audience applauds at him as he walks over and shakes Fallon's hand and takes a seat opposite his desk. Y/N smiles and waves at the guests before resting his hand on his stomach.

Fallon: Y/N!

Y/N: Hey Jimmy! Hey everyone! Such a pleasure to be here again...

Fallon: It is. So tell me, I've seen the trailer to the new Batman movie and it looks epic. The action, the characters it looks amazing.

Y/N: Thank you!

Fallon: So you recently celebrated your son's birthday.

Y/N: Yeah he turned four only a few days ago and has started beating the shit out of me when I'm asleep.

Everyone laughs and everyone who was in the living room. I quickly call William telling him that Daddy is on TV and he rushes to see Y/N doing interview on live TV.

William: Look it's Daddy.

Elizabeth: Yeah it's Daddy~

Fallon: So does he get excited that Daddy's Batman and Spider-Man.

Y/N: Only Batman, he doesn't care about Daddy's Spider-Man because apparently Uncle Tom does it better. But yeah, no, he'd face time me whenever I was busy and he'd be like "Daddy! did you fight the monsters?!" And I was like yeah I do press all day there's plenty of monsters.

William watches in awe as Scarlett and I laugh along with the audience at Y/N's jokes.

Fallon: So Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck are returning as Batman aswell for the new Flash movie. Is there a chance we could see you in the film due to all the multiverse shenanigans?

Y/N: Are you serious? I thought I had something special! Infact, three days ago I was with my son buying ice cream and I saw Ben Affleck there so I had to hide!

Fallon: (Laughing) Oh my God.... Speaking of multiverse, Spider-Man No Way Home comes out in a week so are we going to expect you to come back.

Y/N looks to the audience, conflicted by the question.

Y/N: Listen, I'm Batman alright but Spider-Man is another thing because I uhm. Not actually in it. I can't wait to see it though, Tom is really good I mean we worked on Devil All The Time so he's great and BD Wong returning as Mr Negative is also really great so I'm super excited.

Fallon: (Taunting) Are you sureeee? Anything you do know?

Y/N: (Chuckling) No I'm serious Jimmy. Actually I'll let you on a little spoiler, so Tom told me that RDJ comes back as Iron Man and the Fantastic Four show up too.

Fallon: (Shocked) Really?!

Y/N: Yeah and when Superman comes back it's like wild.

Fallon: You're lying aren't you?

Y/N: You wanted to keep the conversation going.

Fallon: So you've also been fancasted as many different superheroes in the MCU. Why didn't you take them?

Y/N: Jimmy I've played f*cking Spider-Man and Batman.

Laughs fill everywhere and I quickly cover Will's ear for the swear word but it was bleeped out.

Y/N: But if I'm being honest, I'm very lucky to have had the opportunity to play Spider-Man and now a chance to play Batman. And I appreciate the fancasts as these characters but that would be taking someone else's dream away.

Fallon: Right, we haven't seen you in ages, it seems you had like a two year break am I right?

Y/N: (Slightly upset) Well my beautiful son was born so I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. But hey I made up for it this year.

I smiled lightly, seeing Y/N talk about his son and not tell the pure truth of the actual situation.

Fallon: Elizabeth Olsen, your son's mother took numerous roles during that time. Did she not want to be involved in your son's life.

Y/N then gives a slightly disgusted and offended look toward Jimmy making me furrow my eyes to see what he was about to say about this.

Y/N: Absolutely not. She is an amazing woman and loves our son greatly. During that time we thought we would take breaks during our career so we get the balance. Infact, she is at home with my son so I never really understood why people called her a bad mother. She isn't.

The crowd cheers making Jimmy nod. My heart fluttered and my eyebrows softened and lips curled into a thankful grin, he defended me no matter what and lied for the safety of our family.

Y/N's POV

After doing some press I was back at home, resting on the leather couch. It's 13th of December and the hype for these movies have been increasing, I want to get back to Lizzie for Christmas and maybe. Possibly. Hopefully take her out as my plus one for the batman.

I was suddenly pulled out of my thoughts when my dinged. I pulled up to see who it was and it was none other than Andrew Garfield.

Hey man! I was wondering if you wanted to sneak into a theatre with Tobey and I to watch the film. He's bringing Tatiana and I'm bringing Emma. So, feel free to bring Elizabeth.
