for the next week or so, daniel couldn't stop thinking about elizabeth. he found himself thinkking about her more frequently, and having the sudden need to text her. even if it was just to ask how her day was going, he wanted to talk to her.

it was the same for elizabeth. although she would never tell him, she also wanted to talk to him. elizabeth told nicole and keira about him, and of course they were super supportive. after school, she would sometimes drive over to the studio to say hi to daniel. this small action always made daniel's days 100 times better.

elizabeth was now on spring break, and was extremely excited because this meant she got to see daniel everyday.

"do you wanna come over to the studio today?" daniel asked over the phone, hopeful she would say yes.

"yeah i'd love to, what time?" elizabeth grabbed her purse from the chair in her room, and began collecting her essentials.

"umm, maybe at like, 2:30?" daniel suggested, and elizabeth nodded even though he couldn't see her.

"yeah! sounds like a plan, i'll text you when i get there," elizabeth tried not to sound too excited, but she couldn't help it.

"okay, cool. see you later!"

"bye," elizabeth hung up, and fell into her bed with a smile plastered on her face.

to say she was excited was an understatement. she had met this boy 2 months ago and she was already head over heals for him.

she checked her phone and realized it was 1:30, so she decided to get ready. although it was early, she wanted to pick out the perfect outfit.

her indecisiveness kicked in at this moment. elizabeth picked up a shirt, then threw it on the ground. that same routine happened over and over until she finally found one she was satisfied with.

by now it was 2:00. elizabeth began her makeup routine, rummaging through her makeup bag trying to find the correct product.

elizabeth's phone buzzed, it was daniel. he was at her front door and suddenly she became quite anxious. not for a bad reason, though. she had no reason to be anxious, but elizabeth got this feeling anytime she was about to see daniel.

while walking to the front door, she put on her shoes, almost falling in the process. she checked her makeup and hair in the mirror in the mirror by the door. after a couple touch ups, she walked out the door, confidence coursing through her veins.

once she made eye contact with daniel, her heart immediately skipped a beat.

"hey stranger," daniel said smiling at the girl in front of him.

"long time so see," elizabeth opened the car door and sat in the passenger seat, "so. what's the plan?"

"i figured we could go out to eat before going to the studio? unless you're not hungry."

"yeah, no, that's fine. i haven't eaten anything today, anyway so i'm starving," elizabeth looked at him as he nodded.

it was silent for a moment before daniel began talking, "so, where do you wanna go? i don't have a preference so choose whatever."

"umm, chipotle?" elizabeth glanced at him as he nodded in agreement.

"yeah sounds good."

not long after the two of them arrived at their destination. elizabeth got out of the car, and walked inside, daniel not too far behind her. she read the menu until she found something that sounded appealing.

"are you ready to order?" daniel asked the girl who was focused on the menu.

"yeah," she walked up to the register and began ordering her food. daniel did the same, and paid or the two of them. although elizabeth was slightly annoyed at his act of kindness mostly because she wanted to pay, she couldn't help but smile.

"i could've paid for mine," she muttered looking at him giving him a sad look, "i feel bad."

"don't feel bad, trust me it's completely fine."

elizabeth sighed, and sat down at their table. they didn't need to wait long until their food was on their table, ready to eat.

everything was going great until daniel got a call from his manager. elizabeth shouldn't have been as disappointed as she was, but she couldn't help it. daniels manager had let him know that the bad needed to do some last minute rehearsal. although their plan was to go to the studio together, no "outsiders" are allowed during rehearsals. daniel apologized to the girl multiple times on the drive back to her house.

"daniel," she looked at him in the eye when he stopped the car in front of her house, "i really don't mind. please don't feel bad."

"this wasn't how i wanted today to go," daniel sighed and leaned back in his seat.

"i had a great time," elizabeth smiled at him, "call me later?"

"yeah, yeah of course," he watched as she got out of the car, and entering her house.

once he was sure she was safe inside, he began his journey to the studio. "sorry i'm late, i was with elizabeth." he said while opening the door to the building, his 4 friends greeting him at the front entrance.

"again? you guys have been hanging out a lot recently," corbyn said to daniel while running his fingers through his hair.

"don't be so dramatic, i don't have out with her that often," daniel argued. their conversation was cut short by their manager walking into the room.

"i figured that since you guys have tour coming up soon, a last minute rehearsal wouldn't do any harm," their manager, randy, smiled at them.

daniels eyes widened. tour. he would have to tell elizabeth eventually that he would be going across the country for multiple months at a time, and this was a conversation neither of you were ready for, but it had to happen eventually.
