elizabeth eventually got bored of sitting around in her room doing nothing, so she decided to go on tiktok. when she opened the app her notification page was practically broken. her eyes widened when she saw that her tiktok got 250,000 likes. she went to the comments, noticing there were hundreds, no thousand of comments saying "how do you know daniel?" and "why is daniel talking to her?" she was very confused as to why so many people knew daniel. she sighed, turning off her phone and completed her homework.

after a couple of hours, she finally finished with her homework. since she had nothing else to do for the rest of the day she decided to call keira and sofia. she went into the groupchat, and pressed on the facetime button. it only took about 2 rings for keira to answer, sofia joining the call not long after.

"why'd you call us? we usually don't facetime," sofia asked while propping her phone up against her mirror on her desk, while sitting down.

"try and contain your enthusiasm, sof," keira said rolling her eyes, "but anyways, sofia's right we like, never facetime anymore. why now?"

"i talked to daniel," was all elizabeth said before she was bombarded with questions from her friends.

"what'd you guys talk about? anything interesting?" keira asked turning her full attention on her phone.

"was it a full conversation? or just a quick chat?" sofia asked resting her right elbow on her desk, and resting her head in her hand.

"it wasn't anything special, we just said hellos i guess," elizabeth started to fiddle with her rings, "you know that tiktok i posted? it got 250,000 likes, and thousands from comments asking how i knew him."

"what?" sofia asked in a loud tone.

"what if he's famous? i mean there's no excuse he can use as to why so many people were concerned about his "friendships"" keira said tucking a piece of hair behind her hair, sitting down on her bed.

"okay, so we're all just going to ignore the fact that lizzie's tiktok got 250,000 likes?" sofia asked, in once again, a loud tone, "that's a lot more than just your 50 followers liking that video."

"oh yeah, back to that, how did that happen anyway?" keira asked, furrowing her eyebrows.

"i have absolutely no idea," elizabeth said in a quiet tone.

"well i have to go, talk later," sofia smiled.

"yeah, talk later," elizabeth said waving at her phone screen.

"lizzie, talk to daniel," keira said pointing her finger at the phone before hanging up.

elizabeth sighed, putting down her phone, and closed her eyes. it had only been 10 seconds before her phone buzzed. she went to check the notification to see that it was from daniel. her eyes widened a bit, but after a few moments she was confused as to why he was texting her.
