elizabeth was half asleep before she heard the front door open abruptly, causing her to jump up from the chair she was sitting in while watching her movie. she looked over to the door, to see her mom holding grocery bags. elizabeth quickly grabbed the tv remote, pausing the movie.

"hey mom," she said while smiling, walking over to her and grabbing a grocery bag.

"oh, thank you lizzie," her mom smiled back at her following her daughter into the kitchen, setting down the bags on the counter, "sorry i totally forgot to tell you i would be out when you got home."

"it's fine, don't worry about it," her mom nodded her head slowly, and started to unpack the items stored in the bags.

"i'm gonna go to my room, holler if you need anything," elizabeth said to her mom, before continuing her way out of the kitchen, and making her way up the stairs to her room.

once she entered the small, yet cozy, room she sat down on the beanbag, grabbing her phone off of the table next to her bed. she entered snapchat and decided to open daniel's snap. she let out a sigh of relief when she read what it said "oh?". laughing slightly, she screenshotted it and opened tiktok, selecting the correct song. the girl started the recording, and started adding each of the screenshots that match up to the lyrics. when she was done she posted it, not expecting any extravagant reaction from her "audience." a couple minutes went by, and she decided to text the boy.

when elizabeth opened tiktok, she had seen that daniel did in fact follow her. she smiled at herself for some reason. she refreshed the notification page to see that he left a comment, it read, "seriously? you did all of this just for a tiktok? 😂"
"well yeah, duh 🤺" she replied back to him.
elizabeth checked the time, realizing it was late, so she decided to get ready for bed. after she had brushed her teeth, taken a shower, and changed into her pajamas she climbed into her bed, a smile on her face remembering what had happened that day.
