ah, zara. shall i compare thee to a summer's day?

zara is hot. really hot. she knows it, and tends to flaunt it, and basks in the attention. more than anything, she loves to have fun. she'll do anything (and anyone) for fun—she's the type of reckless kid that will jump from life-threatening cliffs into a churning ocean below because the few seconds on the way down are so incredible.

she tends to find the fun and humor in all situations—so zara's constantly grinning or laughing with (or at, oops) someone. she's a wisecracker with her jokes—they tend to be sarcastic, but very clever, and she kind of loves comedy. hasn't really mustered enough bravery for a stint at the mike, though—zara has crippling stage fright unless she's drunk. she likes attention, sure, but she's a follower—commanding the entire room would terrify her. making big decisions terrify her.

even though zara has a judgy side, she'd never be a bitch about it—she's a big ol' peachy softie. she kisses her besties full on the lips to show them her love and has (quite literally) done the classic grandma cheek squeeze to a few unfortunate folks she's found particularly adorable.

see, zara freaks out over the people she likes. she just falls in love with them over and over again every time she sees them—she'll greet her friends like she hasn't seen them in years every time she spends a week away from them. she does have horrible track of time—she's always late—so that could contribute.

unfortunately, those zara doesn't like are in for an icy reception. zara can be mean. for all her sweetness, she knows the types of insults that hurt a person. she's a gossip; and she has no qualms about being the other woman or the source of a rumor if a person really deserves it.

zara will put aside her grudges, however, to relieve the tension in a situation if it is necessary. after all, she doesn't want to spend her time plotting or harming people or being in any discomfort at all. she wants to love people, she does. and she wants to have fun, and that doesn't happen unless everybody is happy. so she'll pull some subtle manipulation sometimes, be the granny she is—hand out little lemon candies. help people get along, she's a big fan of marijuana, if it comes to that.

zara always prioritizes her own enjoyment. so if she's having sex, she's expecting to orgasm. in other words, she counts favors. she'll return them, and she'll expect hers to be returned, too.

when zara loves, she's sunny and bright and warm and wonderful. a person could bask in her sunlight without burning. when she hates, however... melanoma, anybody?

zara sees the best in people, the fun in every situation, the humor in every joke. she's very good at getting people to feel better, at getting them in the partying mood. and she's incredibly good at sex. like... better than a porn star level good. she's probably more experienced then a porn star, too (oops). she's ridiculously confident. it's a good quality.

zara's awful with making important decisions, keeping track of time, or leading a group. she just doesn't really have the agency. she gets nervous, feels scared and pressured. she sucks with public speaking, too, obviously. she can also be judgmental and jump to conclusions about a person's behavior. she's not a morally perfect person—she's done awful things before. and she doesn't regret them.

public speaking terrifies her. being under pressure and having to make decisions? impossible. she's also irrationally afraid of the dark and has a lurking fear that her friends could turn on her. what terrifies zara most is the prospect of being alone. she thrives on having fun with others. she couldn't imagine how quickly she'd fall apart without that.
