most of her abandonment of her old life came from her infatuation with perfection. sadie realized at a young age that she would never be perfect—that she would never be the girl her parents wanted her to be. so she discarded that fantasy and now settles for perfect lipstick rather than a perfect life.

but by the time sadie matured into her teenage years, she had rebelled from her white picket fence lifestyle, preferring more edgy pastimes to occupy herself. cue the electric guitar, cue the stripper pole, cue the psychedelics, cue the signature lipstick—armani's rouge ecstasy.

none of that mattered, though, and although her parents are scandalized, there isn't much they can do. spoiled sadie always gets her way in the end.
