esmerelda is the picture of a prim, polite, tea-sipping, biscuit-dipping british girl. maybe she seems a bit too perfect, but she loves it. it's fun to quietly look down her nose at others, because she's (usually) clearly superior.

she just hold a high opinion of herself. and what's wrong with that? esme is wonderful. she's intelligent, cultured, and accomplished.

she can also be overbearing. esme is a know-it-all, and as a result, she thinks she's always right. she's possessive, and stubborn as fxck, too—she'll argue about any little thing, whether it comes to politics (she's a liberal; brexit can sxck her dxck), favorite hard alcohol (obviously fireball is the best), or preferred teas (cinnamon with honey, second only to english black). she once ended a friendship because the idiot insisted that she was a ravenclaw when esme fancied herself a slytherin.

clearly, however, esme isn't as much of a goody-two-shoes has people think. she has a pretty bad pottymouth—coming up with intricate new ways to swear at people is her favorite pastime. she loves a good shot (from the glass and in the shooting range) and will absolutely party her night away if given the chance.

however, being the mom-friend that she is, she'll be responsible about it. she carries the water, the advil, the band-aids, the extra in-case-of-emergencies cash (lets be real, she can be a reckless shopper. her parents are often appalled at the bills she racks up). and although she can be a lot to handle when she thinks her children are in trouble of any sort (think mama bear defending her young) it shows her considerable amount of loyalty and her big, big heart.
