and though she's ignorant to things like poverty and hardship, ariane is well-versed in her own little heiress-socialite universe. she often graces the pages of french fashion magazines (merci, maman!) and attends high-profile parties. she speaks in social cues and dirty secrets.

on the party scene, ariane is exuberant. she loves to be the center of attention, always, so she makes herself the center of attention by going wild and dragging everyone else along with her. she's the gatsby of paris.

and she's the kind of girl who the tabloids love. she says ridiculously ignorant things, abuses people and their services (she had her own donut-licking scandal—reporters loved comparing ariane to ariana, who wasn't so happy that her own misbehavior was popular gossip yet again). she has too many nude photos and videos on the internet.

she's cheerful yet troubled, and flashy and reckless—far from the perfectionist she once was. this ariane makes mistakes, and revels in the attention they bring her.

born to a father whose company manufactures weapons for the government and a mother who runs the most lucrative fashion line in paris, ariane is filthy rich. or, at least, her parents are—and they don't really care how she spends their money. even her savings account contains enough for her to live in excess for the rest of her life.

when she was younger, she was a picture-perfect daughter, and her parents adored her for it. she showed great promise in language, took ballet classes, and excelled in the harp. and for awhile, she was incredibly focused on being that perfect child, with her perfect grades and advanced skills.

that all changed when she met jaxon park.

she became the ultimate good-girl-gone-bad. it started with little things—small rebellions against her parents. as she grew older and began high school, her misadventures escalated. ariane partied hard, abandoned schoolwork, and started mooching off her parents money in a big, big way, though it hardly made a dent in their pocket.

now, she flies to america and back anywhere between three to eight times a month, in the private jet that she convinced her father to buy for her own personal uses. she throws her money around like its confetti at a party.

she doesn't know what the future holds—and she doesn't particularly care, either. ariane's old dreams of achieving perfection and success are gone now. she lives day by day—ariane isn't about to worry over the future when the present is so wonderful.
