"nope", hoshimi said as she packed her things.

"then...what about the girl—"

"relax mina. it'll be fine. tomura said that he'll take care of it", hoshimi said, smiling.

"did you just use his first name? gurlllll".

"oh stop! by the way, are you coming with us on the trip this weekend?", hoshimi asked.

"the one to the beach?"

"yeah! eijiro and them are going", hoshimi said, excited.

"yeah, I'm down!", ashido said as they got ready to leave their dorms.

"okay, we'll talk more after class then", hoshimi said as mina waved goodbye.

aizawa currently regretted even offering to come to the beach. the sun was shining and he had to look after these kids. despite them being all adults.

"mina, did you make sure to bring extra clothes?", hoshimi asked.

"nope. but we're already here soooo".

"mina!! god, we're gonna have to go buy you some extra clothes now", hoshimi groaned.

"relax!! at least I brought my baby, kisame", ashido smiled proudly.

"yeah, and so did the rest of us. your point?", hoshimi sassed.

"are you okay??", ashido questioned her best friend.

"yeah sorry. it's just that...", hoshimi stared to whisper. "why's yuki also here?", she pouted.

"I don't even know. I thought it was only our group", ashido whispered back.

"it doesn't matter. as long as she doesn't try anything", hoshimi sighed.

the students were currently residing at a hotel with aizawa, yagi, and yamada. it was their annual vacation as the start of june began.

"alright guys! I booked 4 rooms. the girls stay in one and the guys split into two, while us teachers share one", yagi announced.

hoshimi, toga, mina quickly formed into a group, with yuki staying with them. bakugo, kirishima, kaminari, and sero were one group. the last one being dabi, shigaraki, and twice.

"now let's get settled in and we can do whatever!!", yamada excitedly said.

the rest quickly went into their rooms to settle in and change.

"hoshi", aizawa called before leaving for his room.

"yeah, dad?"

"be careful...and rational", aizawa warned.

"will do!!", hoshimi saluted as she ran off laughing.

hoshimi wore an oversized black shirt to cover up her swimsuit. ashido wore a simple black two-piece and toga wore a cute pink two-piece. yuki wore a blue two-piece with white flower patterns.

"wooo!!! y'all looking hot!!", kaminari commented.

"that's not manly to say bro!!", kirishima reprimanded. "although you do look really pretty", he said to ashido, blushing.

"o-oh, thanks!!", ashido said, also slightly blushing.

"gag!! if y'all are gonna flirt, do it somewhere else", bakugo said.

before kirishima could retort, a whistle was heard, making everyone turn around.

"damn! where's your swimsuit, princess?", dabi asked.

"obviously under my shirt", hoshimi sassed back. she also had her black shades on, so she was looking super badass.

"chill chill. I was just asking", dabi smiled, putting his hands up.

all guys were only in their swim trunks except for shigaraki, dabi, and twice, who were all wearing white tank tops.

"up for a rematch?", bakugo asked, walking over to hoshimi.

"oh please. didn't lose enough last year?"

toga, dabi, shigaraki, twice, and yuki were confused. thus, mina explained.

"we've been coming here every year since almost middle school. they like to compete by playing sand volleyball. and they're REALLY serious about it", mina said.

"so hoshi's really competitive?", toga asked.

"oh yeah! she never turns down a challenge", mina said.

"how often does she win?", yuki asked, not having much faith in the girl's athletic ability.

"I think she's almost won every year except a few times", mina proudly said.

yuki just scoffed as everyone got in their teams. the ones that were new just sat on the sidelines and watched the 3 v.s 3.

team bakugo consisted of him, kirishima, and kaminari. hoshimi was left with ashido, sero, and herself.

"loser buys winner a month worth of ramen", hoshimi reminded.

"game on!"

"HOW THE FUCK DID YOU WIN?!", bakugo screamed in anger.

"I'm just that good", hoshimi said, flipping her hair and putting her shades back on.

bakugo scowled. he wanted to throw the girl in the ocean, so that's exactly what he did.

"bakubro, that was not manly!!", kirishima said as he quickly went over to check if hoshimi was alright.

shigaraki, dabi, and toga got up, running to the ocean with ashido, and the rest following.

hoshimi rose from the waters, like rising up from the dead. she coughed a little before flipping bakugo off, who was grinning.

"you bitch!"

"dumbass!!"

"whor—"

"okay guys!! let's go swimming or something so that we can chill", sero said.

hoshimi walked out of the water. her shirt was already wet so she took it off. she wore a light green swimsuit with leaf-like patterns.

hoshimi winked at shigaraki, making his face heat up as he turned away.

"ugh, crusty got lucky", dabi said, making shigaraki feel pleased as dabi can stop rubbing it in his face that he'll forever be alone.

yuki scoffed while walking towards hoshimi.

"say, how about you take on a challenge with me?", yuki asked.

"oh? I'm listening".

"tomorrow we'll sail out on two lifeboats. we'll see how long each of us can last without falling into the water", yuki offered.

yuki was confident as she had learned many things about the ocean and the tidal waves. she was sure that she'd win against a girl who's never even really sailed out before.

"hoshi, I'd be carefu—"

"alright! let's meet after dinner tomorrow then", hoshimi said, totally cutting ashido off.

the girls shook on it.

"loser backs off of tomura", yuki said.

"bet".
