"R-REALLY?!", hoshimi asked.
"of course! I'm sure we can find you a job once you graduate. by the way, which year are you graduating?", hajime asked over the phone.
"oh, well....I was originally planning to graduate in another year. but since I already have all my credits, I'll be graduating at the end of this year", hoshimi explained.
"I see...that's why you're so eager to find a job", hajime said.
"haha, yeah, partially", hoshimi added on.
"well I'll try to set up an interview for you. are you free this thursday at 2:30pm?"
"yes! thank you so much mr. hajime!!"
"no problem. see you soon kid!"
hoshimi hung up as she took a deep breath in and out. she smiled, walking to her next class with ashido.
"you're seriously going to graduate this year??", ashido asked, playfully pouting.
"mhm. I mean, if I already have all my credits, there's really no reason to waste money and stay here", hoshimi responded.
"so you're just gonna leave me?!", ashido whined.
"relaxxxxx. I'm still gonna visit and stuff. plus my dad still works here", hoshimi giggled.
"yeah you better!!"
"mhm, now let's go. we don't want to be late", hoshimi urged.

"and lastly, please tell us what inspired you to apply here", the interviewer asked.
"I've...always had a passion to...serve chicken", shigaraki answered.
the interviewer made a weird face and sighed. "okay, since we're short on staff, you're hired".
"okay. thank you for your timeβ"
"I said you're hired", the chick-fil-a manager said.
"oh. thank you then", shigaraki said, standing up to bow.
"alright. you'll be working cashier starting tomorrow. every monday through friday from 6am to 4pm", the manager said.
"yes sir. thank you and see you tomorrow", shigaraki said as he walked out.
"so? how was it?", hoshimi excitedly asked.
shigaraki fake pouted a bit. he looked down and sighed. hoshimi took notice of how down shigaraki looked and immediately started to internally panic.
"oh no....I'm sorry tomura!! it's okay, there's still moreβ"
"hm? I never said I didn't get the job", shigaraki teased.
hoshimi gasped. she gently hit shigaraki's arm. "you sly dog!"
"how did your interview go?", shigaraki asked.
"I think it went pretty well. they said they'll get back to me at the end of the semester", hoshimi said.
"I'm sure you made it", shigaraki smiled, holding hoshimi's hand.
hoshimi stuffed her other hand in her pocket, as the weather was getting very cold. chistmas was coming around the corner and many lights were being hung up around town.
"how's school?", shigaraki asked. he could see his breath in the freezing air.
"eh. same amount of projects and essays. himiko, dabi, and twice misses you though".
"really? dabi?"
hoshimi chuckled. "okay, not as much as the other two. but he does, I can tell".
"mhm sure", shigaraki said, rolling his eyes.
"don't be mean!!", hoshimi said, playfully throwing shigaraki a glare.
shigaraki clicked his tongue.
"oh look!!", hoshimi pointed. shigaraki followed to where she was pointing, seeing a jewelry store.
"let's go in", he said, pulling hoshimi along.
the bell to the shop rang, alerting the worker of the incoming customers.
"welcome! how may I help you today?", the man asked.
"umm....just looking around", hoshimi smiled.
"I see, well take your time".
hoshimi nodded as she went straight to the one that was on display.
"would you like to try it on?", the man asked.
hoshimi looked at the price. '$695.00?? holy shit!!'
"ahaha...umm...no thanks. actually, we have somewhere to go, so we'll be heading out. thank you though!!", hoshimi awkwardly laughed as she pulled shigaraki out the expensive jewelry store.
"why didn't you try it on??"
"it was like $700. I don't have that kind of money", hoshimi said as she looked at the other stores. she wondered what she should buy shigaraki for christmas.
"hm. oh well".
"by the way, have you been streaming??", hoshimi asked, walking into a sweets shop.
"huh? oh...no. since kurogiri didn't pack my pc, I haven't been able to really stream. plus, I've been busy trying to find a paying job first".
"do you want taikyaki or dango?", hoshimi asked, totally ignoring shigaraki's explanation.
"whichever. I don't really care".
"we'll take two taiyakis and two milk tea with boba", hoshimi ordered, taking out her credit card to pay.
"will that be all for today ma'am?"
"yes, and thank you".
once hoshimi and shigaraki got their dessert, they sat down near the window.
hoshimi sipped her milk tea while nibbling on her taiyaki fish, laying her head on shigaraki's shoulder.
"tired?"
"very".
shigaraki patted his girlfriend's head. he was about to start the grind.
"one more year and you'll start working though".
"mm, that means I'll have to move back with my dad", hoshimi sighed. it wasn't that she didn't want to move back into the house with aizawa. it was just that shigaraki was currently residing there, and she didn't want him to sleep on the couch or sleep on it herself.
"you don't want an apartment??"
"mm...I want to save up for a small house. and hopefully my internship and new job will contribute to it", hoshimi meekly answered.
"the one we visited?"
"mm, not necessarily. any house with two bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom, garage, and a decent sized backyard will work".
"two bedrooms? why two? are you planning on moving in with someone?"
"w-what?? n-no....". hoshimi stuttered, lightly blushing.
shigaraki lightly chuckled and booped her nose.
"give me a year", he said.
"huh?" hoshimi looked up at shigaraki, making him clear his throat.
"give me a year and we'll get the house".
"hm~ okay". hoshimi smiled, holding tightly onto shigaraki's hand.
shigaraki kissed hoshimi's forehead, letting her finish her taiyaki.
