the heart of the trident

CREUSA TULLY, the second daughter of Lord Hoster Tully and the twin sister of Catelyn Tully, was somehow born a Blackfish amongst her family of silvers.ย  Although she was raised to be a proper lady, much like Catelyn wase, and later Lysa would be, Creusa had a will that was anything but ladylike.

CREUSA TULLY loved to travel, which brought her closer to her uncle Bryndon, the Blackfish of his own generation. Bryndon had never married, and he viewed Creusa as the daughter he could've had.ย  When dealing with the lords of other realms in Westeros, he would often take Creusa with him โ€” provided that Hoster didn't find out โ€” which was few and far between.

CREUSA TULLY was in a way, a caged trout; caged mostly by her father and older sister's expectations of her. When Catelyn was still heiress, she could do the things men found lordly, and so could Creusa, though not as much as her twin. However, with the arrival of Edmure, it was a little too late to charge Creusa's more "boyish" ways, but Catelyn was always ready to embrace her being cast aside, no matter how she felt about it.

CRRUSA TULLY was loved by the smallfolk whilst the nobles rewarded her with a little disdain compared to her siblings.ย  While Catelyn, Lysa and Edmure were content to stay inside the palace walls receiving reports from the outside, Creusa would go and see what was going on for herself, often getting herself dirty and scolded by her father. Not that she minded it; she had always placed importance on experiencing the "outside" for herself, thus gaining her the respect of her subjects. It was often said that "Lord Tully ruled the nobles and Lady Creusa ruled the smallfolk", which was half -true; Catelyn was the de facto Lady of Riverrun, but between the overbearing presence of Lord Tully and the fiery will of his second daughter, the actual lady of the castle tended to be overlooked.

Oh, the conflicts of two perspectives. Who is she really? The heart of service, or the unladylike outcast?
