It had been a week since the team had lost sight on Ice Storm and they may have been pissed of and on edge about it for a while but Cassie had an idea that would fix things.

Even though she was still kind of mad at them. She didn't want her team, friends to be at eachother throats. Especially since it was Christmas the following day.

Joe and Iris had noticed the sudden spark of happiness in the two teenagers and seeing them happy gave them hope that one day Barry would wake up.

Cassie had made a plan for everyone to meet up at the Cabin later today but her and Bailey had to go a few hours early to fix up the place.

Luisa on the other hand had been on edge since Snart shot an icicle into her waist. She hadn't been sleeping for sometime and ever since the team had noticed how she was acting and started pinning it on eachother which only made the situation worse. She had eventually healed, good as new, faster than expected but to her it felt like there was a scar there, even though there wasn't one.

Adira had been blaming herself for the Luisa getting hurt and had been pushing herself further with training, Bailey had noticed and tried to talk to her, help her in some way but everytime she tried Adira would ignore her or say something harsh that hurt the tanned girls feelings despite her efforts not to.

The memories that rushed through her head when Adira got shot had been giving her nightmares for days. Yesterday Adira screamed and Alex and Valerie ran into the room and found the girl in a pool of her own sweat repeating the words 'stay with me, please stay with me' or ' I'm sorry, I'm so sorry'. All she saw those nights were the bloody bodies of two of her oldest friends that dies in the worst way possible. And she hated to admit it but killing the person who did it didn't make things better, not at all.

But appart from that the team had been stopping robberies, saving people from burning buildings ever since winter break started, you know the usual superhero thing. All the metas had gone out into the field atleast once, all but Giovana. She was still skeptical about using her powers and put all her time in mastering them. That's the thing with her, she liked perfecting everything in her power. It wasn't a good trait she had to admit but, she was stuck with it. Cassie and her still hadn't really spoken, they just thought it would be best if they kept their distance.

But Cassie wanted to be the bigger person and apologize, well talk to her. She realized that having a grudge on her wasn't going to help anyone, plus the only things she had been stressing about these past few days was her brother and her relationship with Giovana. If the blonde had to be honest she didn't want to fight anymore. She had been looking through an old photo album that had her and the team in and she got a little emotional when she saw how close they all used to be, they may have had their own little groups in the group but un the end they were family.

And that moment sparked an idea to fix the past mistakes that they were all guilty to. So she started brainstorming and she had the best idea that she had in a while.

✦✧✦✧

Cassir and Bailey were currently at the Cabin preparing for the afternoons events.

" Cassie are you sure this is going to work?" Bailey questioned the blonde.

" Yeah I'm sure of it. All the team needs is a bit of time to cool off, relax. Have some fun" Cassie expressed as she wiggles her shoulders.

" Don't ever do that again." Bailey cringed as Cassie chuckled in response.

A few minutes later the sisters heard a knock on the door and opened to find Luisa and Ashton, Lu was smiling sheepishly as Ashton did his signature smirk while holding gifts in their hands.

Days before the team had done secret Santa and had agreed to exchange them soon.

Cassie stepped aside to let the two into the warm cabin . They hung up their coats on the rack before all 4 of them got into a group hug. It was a nice moment, those few seconds where they all bonded.

The rest of the team came in drips and drags. They were all currently in the living room sipping fresh hot cocoa just having a good chat.

" So who's up for secret Santa?" Bailey suggested to which everyone agreed too.

The tanned girl walked over to the Christmas tree the team had decorated a few days back and picked up the first gift.

" Emma." She called as the ginger got up from her seat and went to get the gift.

" Ashton." She called next as he came over.

This continued for another few minutes before they knew it, they were all on the couch with different shaped boxes with colorful wrapping and were all eager to open them.

" Okay now open!" Cassie called eagerly before the sounds of tearing wrapping paper filled the room.

" Oh My gosh who got me Marino Beats headphones!" Venus asked the group with a beaming smile.

" Guilty." Hanna said shyly as she rose her hand up slowly before Venus literally jumped on the girl and engulfed her in a tight hug.

" Thank you, thank you, thank you!!" Venus thanked the brunette as she hugged back, Hanna heard that her favorite brand for headphones had recently released new headphones so she thought what could be a better present.

Cassie smiled at the interaction, her plan was working.

" What... ha...how?" Gia stuttered as she held up a locket that had a picture of her and her mom.
, the same mom that had abandoned her when she was 7.

Gia hated to admit it, but she honestly didn't hate her mother. She just really missed her. The last time she saw her dad was a week ago, but he had a reason for his constant hiatus. He was in the military but her mom just left her.

She looked in the small box some more and found a note that said 'open later.'

" That was my doing... I remember the last time you had it was at my house so I went searching, everywhere and I finally found it." Cassie stated as Giovana smiled with slight tears in her eyes.

She thought she lost the locket but her old friend found it. She pulled The blonde into a hug.

" Thank you. We need to talk later." Gia whispered as the rest of the group expressed their gratitude to their santa.

Cassie hadn't even realized it but she hadn't opened her present yet and it was a rather big one.

She opened the box and found a blank photo album, a camera and an SD card. She put the Card into the slot and pressed play.

She placed her hand over her mouth in shock as she watched a video that dates back all the way to December 25th 1999. Cassiopeia Allen's very first Christmas.

Cassie watched her baby self who was only a month old at the time crawl all over the Allen house hold, play with her toys, her brother carrying her dancing with her around their living room to the music that was playing. She watched baby her open her first Christmas present. She watched something that she thought she would never see again nor remember, she saw baby her playing with her mom. Nora allen was making funny faces while the brunette baby laughed and giggled.

Cassiopeia Allen smiled a glowing smile, one that alot of the others hadn't seen in a while. In that moment, she was in her own world.

A world where her parents were happy together, a world where her brother was okay, alive, breathing, talking, smiling.

She didn't even realise that a few tears had streamed down her cheeks. She quickly wiped them away when she snapped back to reality.

"Merry Christmas Cas." Xander gleamed with pride as he saw how happy the blonde was. He was proud that he managed to make her smile again, the same smile he loved to see so much.

" Thank you... oh my God your amazing. Thank you." Cassie said as she wrapped her arms around his neck as he wrapped his around her waist and buried her face into the crook of his neck, her face was slightly damp from the tears but that didn't matter to the boy nor her, she felt safe his arms.

Everyone pretended not to notice the interaction as the started making random conversation.

"What how though?" She asked the curly haired boy.

" I went to visit your dad, I have been for while actually. Any way Hanna and I usually go and I had the idea to get you some tapes of some memories that you and your family made before your Mom died. So he told me that Joe had a box of old tapes from your childhood home so I asked him and he let me take a few. And I remembered that you secretly love taking photos so that had me thinking of a Camera and photo album and yeah." He answered with his signature smile, that gave Cassie a warm feeling, that she didn't understand but brushed off.

Cassie's plan had worked perfectly, better than expected. She didn't expect herself to feel how she was feeling now but the afternoon was only getting started
